The Women's Thoughts II

Then there was Semiramis. Unlike Atalanta who strove to deny her growing feelings for her master Jun and looked for other reasons to justify her willingness to follow and bind herself to him, Semiramis was quite honest with herself.

Ever since she first saw Jun's real appearance, she had been extremely attracted to him and wished to make him her consort in the capacity of an obedient bed warmer for his queen to enjoy.

When his power and unbreakable will became apparent however, her opinions changed and she affiliated herself with him as she felt him more worthy than her former master who fell from her grace in his failed attempts to bring about his vision of the world.

The assyrian queen entered Jun's service with the intention of seducing him, bending him to her will through soft methods rather than the more extreme methods she had planned for when she thought him weaker.

As time passed however, despite the obvious attraction the two had for each other, nothing happened. The two found the other attractive and lusted after one another but their desire for dominance prevented them from moving forward with their relationship.

It didn't take long for Semiramis to accept that Jun would be the one true authority in any relationship he was a part of but she refused to be just a pretty wallflower, nice to look at but useless otherwise.

Jun knew this and respected her greatly for it, offering her chances to improve her own power in various ways while assuring her than her might would be needed by him in the future.

It was precisely this that made Semiramis' feelings begin changing from pure attraction to romantic interest.

She began falling for him but never took it further due to her lacking confidence in playing the obedient wife and the thought Jun's words about needing her power were just empty comforting.

When Jun revealed his current plight and how they could bind themselves to him, increasing their own power while adding on to his however, Semiramis was pleased beyond measure.

Leaping at the decision to bind herself to Jun, she was enamored with the very concept of the idea. A relationship were betrayal was self destruction, where Jun's power would support her and in turn, her increased power would flow back into him, raising him even higher.

It was a dream come true for Semiramis and after her repeated thoughts on how ingenious and perfect the idea was, her mind turned towards what kind of reward she would give her soon to be husband for such a development . . .

In Asako's case, for the hardened assassin whose life's wish Jun had granted, to bind herself to him was not a big decision but an unrefusable reward of the highest degree.

To be bound to her master's service so long as he stood and perish with him should he fall . . . For the devoted Hassan, such an honor was wasted on her and she would spend an eternity by her master's side doing her best to prove that his decision of rewarding like so was indeed correct.

The last two Heroic Spirits that were faced with the choice of taking Jun's offer of eternal binding were Artoria and Mordred.

The "father" and "son" pair with their steadfast loyalty towards their master swiftly made the decision to bind themselves to him when it was offered but if they asked themselves whether loyalty was the sole or even the main reason that they had made this choice . . .

Should they be honest to themselves, the answer would be no.

Loyal knights they were but there was no denying the growing feelings for their liege that bloomed within their hearts. To both of them, this was a golden opportunity to secure a place beside their beloved master for eternity and as such, an offer too good to pass up.

Mordred felt attracted to Jun for quite a while. Despite her deceptively young age, having the Pan Human history Morgan as her mother, a paragon of vice, She was quite aware of such emotions and as they grew inside of her, she quickly made notice of them.

Treating herself as a man for the entirety of her short life and demanding that others do the same, Mordred was quite confused by her feelings even if she didn't let it show too much. She did not avoid or refuse to acknowledge them but lacked the confidence to turn them into action.

She was brash, rowdy and acted like man as a default and those truth deeply worried her. Mordred felt insecure that Jun would find her attractive and care for her in the way she did for him and so she tried keeping her feelings to herself.

The turning point however, came when she and her "father" met in their second lives as Heroic Spirits. Jun had given her the opportunity to settle things with Artoria and as she reconciled with her beloved former King, Mordred's feelings for Jun grew to an unprecedented level.

He had given her a new life, granted her power, trusted her to be his Knight despite her treasonous reputation and insecurities and now, he even gave her the opportunity to fix all of her life's regrets. How could she not fall in head over heels for him?

On Artoria's side, Jun had allowed her to reconcile with her estranged family. Not only Mordred however as despite not being the sister she knew, Artoria still considered Morgan to be her sister.

And though their relationship was not the best, to be standing on the same side as Morgan and seeing glimpses of the caring sister she once knew shine through every once in a while, Artoria was deeply satisfied.

Despite her growing feelings for her benefactor that helped cleanse her mind of her deeply ingrained regrets and helped her let go while also reuniting her with her previously estranged family, Artoria was not at all versed in the matters of romance.

She became unaware of how to interact with Jun when his every look, every gesture sent about waves in her maidenly heart.

Mordred noticed this too, it was really not that hard after all and duly informed her "father" that she was in fact experiencing the feeling know as love which only made the King of Knights more self conscious about Jun.

It was then that Iri got involved and though she had only one relationship to speak of for experience and one that ended in absolute disaster to boot, there was no doubt that she was more well versed in such matters than Artoria and Mordred.

And so, she taught them how to be more proactive and reassured them who were insecure about their beauty and womanliness that Jun did indeed find them attractive.

The pair took her words to hear and started thinking on ways to approach Jun, a difficult endeavour since he was always running about and disappearing to do things.

His plight that led to the offer of binding themselves to him provided a way for them to secure a spot by his side without having to face the trials of actually "making a move" on him but they were still worried.

Knowing that due to his noble phantasm's nature, Jun would be summoning more Servants to bolster his power, Artoria and Mordred worried that their love would become at risk of being unrequited as Jun quite obviously preferred female servants to summon.

Due to this, the pair began planning an assault on Jun after the binding was successful. Reassuring each other than the object of their love would not refuse them, the two seeked Irisviel for advice on how to seduce their master while admonished themselves as perverted knights.

Then there were the final two Nasuverse denizens.

For Maya, Jun was everything. It was as simply as that and to be by his side for eternity was the ultimate luxury. This mindset made her get along surprising well with Asako and the two became Jun's ever dutiful subjects.

The only stark difference between both of their mindset being Maya's stauch insistence on serving Jun in his bed as well while Asako was considerably more conservative in this regard despite wishing to do so as well.

Then there was Natalia . . . If someone had asked her if she would ever be willing to make such a commitment in the past, she would have laughed in their faces but now . . . Now she just wanted her lover to tie her up, figuratively and literally.

What started out as a casual relationship to someone she felt a debt to for saving her life turned into a passion she felt utterly unable to escape from as Jun stole her heart with an ease that left her feeling lost.

Still, she had no regrets and Jun was the type of lover she could see herself with for the rest of time. And so, the hardened mercenary made her choice and tied the noose around her neck of her own free will, binding herself to the true love of her life.

Finally, there was the DxD group.

Cleria, who was granted a new life after death and deeply fell in love with her saviour as time passed was all for the idea of binding herself to him.

At first, she had accepted to be brought back for revenge, to punish the corrupt Great King Faction led by House Bael for their misdeeds and for the death of her previous lover.

As she spent more and more time with Jun however, her main source of motivation for returning to life and living her second life became being by her saviour's side.

Cleria still wished to punish those that wronged her and masaomi along with many other Devils but she was no longer a prisoner to that thought.

Sae, Natsuki and Shigune, like was mentioned before, despite their burgeoning feelings and love for Jun were not prepared to make such a commitment. Something with Jun found to be quite reasonable and even commendable.

After all, jumping to an eternal commitment to a guy they have only been dating for a relatively short time while being just teenagers seemed to be quite rushed and perhaps even foolish even though Jun would have done his best to prove their decision right should have they accepted.

Lavinia on the other hand, was absolutely sure of her decision. She loved Jun with all of her heart and to be able to follow him and be by his side for eternity was an offer she found far too appealing to refuse and so, she embraced it without hesitation.

And for the Nekoshou sisters, especially Kuroka who had been saved in her greatest moment of weakness, she saw no better course of action that following her beloved saviour and lover until the end of time itself and possibly even beyond.

The fact that by doing so, she would be paving the way for her sister, still too young to understand her burgeoning feelings for her nice and handsome big brother that her sister seemed to like very much.
