Game Board

In Tranquility Conservatory, Song Jia sat across from Headmaster He Yun. A game board between them as both took time sipping on their tea.

"I'm thankful for your assistance again this time, General.." He set the cup down. "Not only did you solve the issue for the two kingdoms, I could tell that the students you took with you have increased in their rank since they had left our school's gates."

"I wonder what the real mission is. To deal with those devilry cultivators–or to chaperone those youngsters?" Her lips curled up in a smirk.

"Hahahaha!" He laughed heartily. "It is both! The matter about the devilry cultivators making trouble is the mission. The students needed experience outside and it's just their luck or–shall we say, fate–that you're with them. I had more confidence that they would be able to come back alive and well. See–it's even better than what I expected!"

Song Jia moved a piece on the game board. She then took a sip of the tea.
