Xiao feng
After changing his attire, he left his room and started wandering around the Lin clan. Today, something was different in his surroundings. The whole clan was a huge mess, everyone was running here and there like they were preparing for something.
"Is something wrong with the Lin clan? Why is everyone in a hurry? Is something happening here that I don't know about…" Yohan thought to himself while his gaze went towards Ana.
He called out to Ana from behind. Hearing that someone was calling her, Ana tilted her head and saw Yohan standing behind her. Her facial expression became stiff seeing Yohan.
She swallowed some of her saliva.
"Master, what are you doing outside your room? You are supposed to be in bed. If lord Su Lin and lady Alena find you here they are going to be mad at you."
Ana became stiff seeing him and her gaze went here and there to take a look around.
Seeing Ana's worried face, Yohan chuckled and petted her head.
"Don't worry, I am fine, but what is going on here? Today there is something very different about the clan. Is something going on here?" Yohan asked Ana, seeing his surroundings and noticing that everyone was in hurry and decorating the whole clan.
"Master. You are joking, right? Tomorrow is Lady Alena's birthday, and on this occasion, the Lin clan hosts a big celebration, and all of the big clans of the River Shore City gather here. That's why everyone is busy," Ana responded to Yohan.
Hearing those words, Yohan's face became a bloom and a bright smile appeared on his face.
"It's mom's birthday, I almost forgot about it, I need to go and find a present for her." He looked at Ana and said those words with a bitter smile on his face. He thought how she would react if she found out that his son forgot his mother's birthday but to his surprise, Ana's expression remained calm.
Seeing her expression, Yohan became confused and he looked at Ana with a deep gaze.
"What happened, Ana? Is something wrong? Why are you so calm about it, is it not surprising to you that I forgot my mom's birthday?" he asked Ana and looked towards her expressionless face.
"Master, I am not surprised, I understand your reason. Tomorrow various experts of the different clans are going to gather here. Moreover, you never attended that event before. It's obvious that I am not surprised to hear your answer, and on top of that, miss Xiao Feng from Feng clan is also going to join this festival along with his parents." Ana bitterly smiled towards Yohan.
Hearing Ana's words, a light struck on Yohan's back and his heart nearly skipped a beat. He looked towards Ana with a nonchalant expression on his face.
"That fucking bastard even missed his mother's birthday. Not showing up on her special day of life." Yohan tightened his fist while he said those words inwardly, but he became more confused as he heard the last sentence from Ana's mouth.
"Who the hell is that Xiao Feng, and why are you telling me about her? Is she some kind of a celebrity or something?" he responded to Ana with a carefree tone, because he didn't give a fuck about Xiao Feng or whoever this person was. He was thinking about the previous Yohan and cursing him for not remembering the birthday of his mother.
But to his surprise, Ana's face became pale and her jaw dropped on the ground, hearing those words coming from Yohan's mouth.
Yohan noticed this and smiled at Ana.
"Is something wrong with you, is Xiao Feng that kind of famous or a celebrity? Why are you looking me like that with those eyes?"
"Master, you are not all right, there is something wrong with you. How can you forget about the girl you have admired your whole life? And on top of that, the Feng clan is one of the top clans in this northern region who govern Feng city, and our Lin clan has good relations with the Feng clan," Ana responded to Yohan with seriousness that could be seen on her beautiful face.
"The woman I admire, my ass...I don't even know about any women besides Diya, but why does this Xiao Feng name sound familiar," Yohan thought to himself and looked towards Ana, who was looking at him with pity in her eyes.
"Master, I understand how you think about her, but she is the beautiful goddess that everyone admires in the entire northern region. Moreover, she is a powerful cultivator. I can understand that she rejected you and humiliated you in front of the whole Divine Blossom sect. That's why you are behaving that way, right?" She looked towards Yohan as she was feeling bad for him while hearing the words he was cursing his previous self with.
"Xiao Feng, huh," Yohan mumbled in a low voice and left Ana alone in that corridor without looking back.
"What is wrong with the master? He is behaving very differently. Is that a side effect of that attack? Should I inform lady Alena…" Ana whispered, seeing Yohan leaving the corridor.
