2. The Quarrel

Amurwa and Padmasari looked at each other for a moment then both looked down. they simply did not know how to answer the little boy who was now sulking in his Mommy's arms. Padmasari was more confused because she didn't know how to stop her son's crying.

"Honey, how could Uncle be a papa if . . . ." Padmasari was confused about how to continue her sentence. She was really frustrated with her son's condition. The answer is that her father is still alive, she is afraid that her husband will misunderstand and will make it difficult for her, while if she answers that she does not want to because Andika already has Papa, Padmasari is sure that Amurwa's heart will be scratched.

Seeing the predicament, she looked at Amurwa and tried to ask for his help. Amurva nodded. He patiently stroked Andika's back while whispering something in his ear.

"Would you please, Young Master, if I could take you for a ride on Jeremy?"

Andika shook her head. He is really annoyed that Amurwa doesn't want to understand how his life is with Papa but feels bland because his papa doesn't want to play with him at all.

"Why? Doesn't Young Master love it when I take Jeremi around the park? Or are we going to ride Jeremy all the way to the lake behind the mansion?"

Andika still shook his head, making Amurwa also frustrated. Padmasari who failed to persuade her son seemed to start tearing up. She doesn't have the ability to persuade her child at all because she has completely left the care of the babysitter.

"Minah, please help your young master."

There is no other choice but to call her handler Andika. Amurwa who heard Padmasari call Minah just smiled. In his heart he laughed at the actions of his master's wife's beautiful woman who did not have the ability to calm her own child.

Minah, who was cleaning Andika's room, immediately ran over. Her eyes were stunned to see Amurwa who was waiting for Andika who was whining to ask her mother for something. Minah couldn't say anything seeing the young man she'd been dreaming of standing staring at her in annoyance.

"What happened to Young Master, Madam?" asked Minah as she reached out her hand to grab Andika's shoulder. Andika waved Minah's hand, making all who saw stunned.

"Go, Minah. I just want Uncle Amurwa to become my Papa."

"How? You have your own Papa, Young Master."'

Minah is equally frustrated by the fact that the child who used to obey is now rebelling against her. Some of the ways she usually used to persuade Andika failed to make Andika obey. Minah looked at Amurwa who was still standing while looking at Andika as if to ask why but Amurwa didn't want to answer at all.

Seeing Amurwa not reacting, Minah immediately approached Andika for the umpteenth time. She hoped her efforts would be successful this time.

"Young Master, tell me one more thing, what do you want to do?"

Hearing Minah's words, Andika looked at Minah and then extended his hand to his babysitter.

"I want Uncle Murwa to be my father, Minah."

"What?"

Minah couldn't hide her surprise. She didn't think that Andika's request was the most difficult request for the both people who had failed to persuade him. Minah nodded, trying to neutralize her guilt especially when her eyes caught Padmasari's face shaking her head at her.

"Minah"

"Yes, madam. Sorry, let Minah correct everything slowly, don't be in a hurry and hope the Young Master will understand."

"I leave everything to you." Frustrated, Padmasari immediately left the place for the stairs that connected the kitchen to her private room while Amurwa just watched the woman who was his master's wife leave anxiously. It's not that he doesn't want to be Andika's father, but Amurwa knows what risk he will take if he agrees to his request.

Andika, who lives with Minah, now looks at the babysitter who is getting confused about what to say and is responsible for her ability.

"Aren't you lying if I can ask Uncle to be my dad, Minah?"

"E, Y-Yes, Young Master. Yes."

"So now I can call my Uncle, Papi, Minah?"

Minah shook her head. She was confused between answering yes and no. She didn't know at all that the risk of agreeing to Andika's wish would be that complicated in the end. She was afraid that Mr. Kusuma would fire her if she allowed Andika to call Amurwa as papi. But if hse refuses, she can't bear the tantrum of a child who has been with her since birth.

"Minah"

"Y-Yes, Young Master."

"You agree?"

"Ow, why does my head hurt huh?" Minah held her head, trying to avoid being chased by a question from a small child who was now on her hips receiving an answer she didn't expect at all. Upstairs, Mr. Kusuma looked at Andika's behavior with an angry face. He was annoyed to see that his arrogant son had absolutely no manners towards elders.

"Padmasari!"

Padmasari who was hiding her restlessness soon lifted up. She stepped closer to her husband who was now angry.

"W-what happened, Hun?"

Kusuma looked his wife up and down, then pointed at Andika who was still sulking in Minah's lap.

"What do you do while at home that your child acts like a child who has no manners like that?"

Padmasari was silent. She wants to say that it is not only her responsibility as a mother, but her husband also has the same responsibility as her but she refuses. Seeing Kusuma glaring like his eyes were about to fall off made Padmasari look down.

"Why are you always silent? Have I been lacking in giving affection all this time? I always bring gifts for my son but why is he acting like a street thug."

"You never greet him at all, Hun. He thirsts for his Papa's love, not mine. I've tried my best to give everything for Andika."

"Oh, so you're blaming me huh?"

"N-nothing like that. I just said that Andika needs your attention as a papa. Don't just buy expensive toys but you never want to touch him."

"You think that if I don't touch him that means I don't love him? You have to learn how to raise children again. Starting tomorrow you have to sit in my room and listen to the teacher's lecture that I'm going to call this house."

"But, Hun. I . . . ."

"There's no objection. I know you've only been decorating. Beautifying yourself is just to attract the attention of men outside this house. Just watch out if I hear that a man has a crush on you."

Padmasari looked down to avoid her husband's gaze. She was really annoyed by Kusuma's threats. Because all this time it was Kusuma who had snatched herself from the lover she loved so much. The kind-hearted man whom she longed to be her husband in the afterlife had been killed by Kusuma in order to reach her love.

"It's not you, Hun who has snatched me from Burhan. You even have . . . . "

"Enough. You want to be the rebellious woman who accuses your husband of killing your lover?"

Kusuma's eyes flashed indicating that his emotions had really reached the top of his head. He slammed the cell phone that he had been holding in his hand until the ill-fated expensive object shattered into pieces.
