The Past 5

Rai's POV

It's been months since I came to this village, disguising myself as a rabbit. 

"Rai!" I saw Callis hopping towards my direction. He was the one who helped me and introduced me to the chief. He took care of me like a family.

"What brought you here?" I asked.

"Uhm." He handed me a basket full of snacks.

"Where did you get this?"

"There's this weird looking guy in our village right now." he whispered.

"Who?" I curiously asked, but he just shrugged.

"We don't know, but it seems like he's looking for someone." I suddenly felt nervousness in my body. Did he follow my scent? But that's impossible; I did everything meticulously.

"Rai!" I looked at Callis and saw him grabbing my arm with a worried face. "Are you alright?" He asked and I nodded.

"Yeah, I'm not really feeling well right now." I said.

"How about just stay at home for the rest of the day, I can take care of your chores." Callis
