Going to Auvraneian Kingdom 1

Rai's POV

The Crown Prince's secretary, Kelvhan, was pouring the cups with tea while everyone was silent. I could see Kelvhan's hand trembling.

"Thank you." I silently said and smiled at him.

"It's an honour to serve you, my lord." He respectfully said and quietly placed different varieties of desserts on the table.

"Um…. do you have cookies?" I asked.

"Yes, my lord, I will bring it right away." He replied and he quickly ran off outside. I looked at the three guys silently sitting and drinking their tea.

"Um… aren't you going to eat?" I asked, and they silently took and ate the desserts. Minutes later, Kelvhan the secretary, returned with a plate full of cookies. He placed the cookies on the table.

"Thank you." I said, and he bowed 90 degrees before walking outside. I put my cup down and asked them questions to lessen the awkwardness inside the room.

"I heard from Killian that you're looking for something?" I asked the Crown Prince.

"Yes, we were looking for a man named Nygell." The Crown Prince retorted.

"Nygell?" My head tilted a little.

"It is said that Nygell knows the way to the kingdom of sea creatures." The Young Duke said.

"We also heard that he is one of the oldest people living on this continent, and he has tons of knowledge about this continent." The Crown Prince said, and the two nodded their heads.

"The kingdom of sea creatures?" I mumbled as I tried to remember the name of that kingdom.

"Oh! You mean the Auvraneian Kingdom!" I spoke.

"?"

"?"

"Auv-" Young Duke.

"Auvraneian Kingdom." I said, and I think they are trying to process the name in their minds.

"Most humans almost forgot about them since they are now living in seclusion and only the beast man knows where they are since their king came from the whale race." I continued.

"We didn't know about it." Killian said.

"They did not even write it in the history book." The Crown Prince said.

"Well, it matters no more since you can't find them anywhere... But I can." I said, and they looked in my direction.

"You are going to help us, my lord?" Killian said.

"I have some important matters to do in the Auvraneian kingdom. I mean, I need to clean something. " I said, smiling wickedly.

"We're ready to go, your highness," Kelvhan said. Since I'll be going with them, I went to a wagon to ride with the other humans, but the three high-ranking nobles stopped me.

"What is it?" I asked. They were hesitating and glancing at each other, waiting for someone to talk.

"W-would you like to ride with us?" The young Duke said without even looking at my face.

"*Smile* Okay." I said, and they led me to a fancy carriage. Kelvhan opened the door for us.

"You go first," I said to the Crown Prince, and he shook his head.

"It's disrespectful for us to go first, my lord," the Crown Prince said, and the two just nodded.

"*Sigh* Fine," I said and went inside the carriage, and after I was inside, they followed. Minutes later, the carriage slowly moved, and I pulled the curtain down. I removed my hood, let my hair flutter, and fixed it. They were al busy reading some documents.

Furthermore, I closed my eyes; minutes later, when I opened my eyes, everything was white and peaceful.

'Child.' I turned around and saw a beautiful tree.

"Hello, Ellen." I greeted her.

'It looks like you are having so much fun in the human world.' She spoke.

"I have some unfinished business in the human world," I said.

'*Chuckle* Since you were sleeping for years, all of your work was left in your room piled up,' she said.

"Is everything alright in there?" I asked.

'Everything's fine here; I will always pray for your safety up here, child.' She said and then everything was shining.

"My lord." I could hear someone calling me.

"My lord."

"My lord." They were all looking at me.

"We have arrived, my lord." The Young Duke said, and I put my hood on. I pulled the curtain back and saw the scenery of the ocean. The other was unpacking, and the other was making a tent for us to stay in.

"Your highness, Young Duke, and Young Master Killian." Kelvhan bowed and said hello to them. An hour ago, I informed him not to call or welcome me, as I was aware that some humans in attendance were against the nobleman's group. They were spying on Lysanthir, the young master, and the crown prince, the young duke, the nobles sent their greatest actors.

"It's best for us to head inside." The Young Duke and I just followed them. I went to the tent and cast a protection spell so no one could hear our conversation.

"We will leave tonight. The five of us will take off." I said, removing my cloak.

"Excuse me?" Kelvhan said, and everyone looked at me.

"You better not take those sly humans to the Auvraneian Kingdom." I said with a serious face.

"But how do we-" I cut Killian off.

"Don't worry about these humans; I asked somebody to look after them," I said.

"Please have a seat, my lord." The Crown Prince said and Kelvhan poured some tea and brought snacks.

"Looks like the noble's anti-faction is already making a move," the Young Duke said.

"They even plant spies on our sides," Killian said, sitting on a chair.

"*Tsk* Those bastards," the Crown Prince said, silently looking in my direction and clearing his throat.

"Don't worry, Your Highness, I brought some men to take care of them," Kelvhan said, pouring the Crown Prince's tea.

"Even if the nobles gather just to destroy the royal family, that would be impossible," I said, sipping my tea.
