Chapter 10

Qin Sheng stops laughing after his father scolds him. As he arrived downstairs with his companion, Su Meilin.

'See what you have done'. Qin WuShuang stared upstairs towards his younger brother as he was conveying through his eyes.

'What can I do now?' Qin Sheng asked his elder brother, Qin WuShuang, with his eyes as he was urging what he should do now to soothe the old man.

"Can't do anything" Qin WuShuang shook his head, staring at his younger brother. As he was helpless in front of their father, Old Master Qin.

The old lady could see what was happening in the eyes of her two children. She speaks first so she can pull Old Master Qin's legs.

"Why are you scolding my poor child? What has he done wrong?" an old lady said, burying the smile on her lips, complaining to Old Qin.

"Why do you have to take his side? You always have favoured your children over me, then what about me? And they do the same." Old Master Qin counter back. 

"You! ..., you..! And all of you are on your mother's side. No one is on my side". Old Master Qin added, pointing towards all, Qin Sheng, Qin WuShuang and their wives, making his face emotional, as his face looked miserable and eyes lowered.

"Why won't we be on the mother's side? After all, she is the boss of the house." Qin WuShuang said with a teasing grin on his face and grasped his mother, Zhao Wangli.

Old Master Qin's expression evolved from one after another. "No one cared for me," Old Master Qin again makes a puppy face, to look gloomy as he was a poor old man who was being tortured by everyone in the family together.

As All took Zhao Wangli's side.

Seeing the drama queen of the house, everybody laughed as they were savouring their best moment of the day. Old Master Qin, known as the drama queen of the house.

It delighted Qin WuShuang and Qin Sheng that their mother supported them in presence of the Old Master Qin.

Old Master Qin looked at the faces of his wife and others, as he smiled inside his heart, and was glad that because of him, there was a beam on their faces.

As everyone laughed and teased Old Master Qin's puppy face. When they heard an enthusiastic voice, "Grandpa! Why do you worry about this? We are always with you," announced two girls in unison.

Both girls went running towards the Old Master Qin and hugged him from both sides. They both were grinning with the glistering smile when they hugged the Old Master Qin.

"That's my granddaughters, who simply care about me," Old Master Qin exclaimed with a pride smile and pats the back of his both granddaughters. 

These two girls are Old Master Qin's granddaughters, Qin Mingyu and Qin Weiyi.

Qin Mingyu, age 21 years, daughter of the second son, Qin Sheng and Su Meilin. Qin Mingyu had a calm and pretty personality, with a pair of black eyes and hair, that reached up to her waist. She was fortunate with the good height and fair skin, and was quite a personality.

And Qin Weiyi aged 20 years, daughter of the elder son, Qin Wushuang and Ling Fei. She was a playful and energetic girl who try to make everyone happy around her with her clumsy and joyful deeds of enjoyment.

Both girls looked elegant and cheerful as they hugged Old Master Qin, separating from Old Master Qin. They both glanced at grandma, Zhao Wangli and father, Qin Wushuang. who was sitting on the right side of the sofa? as the pair of mother and son had hugged each other.

"Grandma!, father! Why do all of you always tease Grandpa?" Qin Weiyi stares at her father and grandma while resting her hands on her waist and eyebrow narrowed. As she was interrogating a criminal, not her family.

"Qin Weiyi! It was all started by your grandfather. I did nothing," said Qin Wushuang, separating from his mother. As he was defending himself from his daughter's fierce looks.

Old Master Qin was enjoying it, when Qin Weiyi confronted his wife and son and took his side, and on his lips, a little smile formed.

"Our grandfather could never do that. Look at him, how innocent he is," Qin Mingyu said, looking towards Old Master Qin. who immediately made an innocent face, hiding a little smile from his granddaughters. "It must be your fault. You guys must have done something," came the innocent and sweet voice of Qin Mingyu, to protect her grandfather.

Paying attention to what Qin Mingyu had said. Everyone looked at her, "Huh?.... from where he seems innocent to you?" all thoughts in their minds.

'Do you even know, he was scolding your poor father, when I did nothing wrong,' Qin Sheng said in his mind, looking at his innocent daughter Qin Mingyu, who had a misunderstanding about her grandfather.

'Even he scared me, with his eyes,' Su Meilin muttered, as her husband, Qin Sheng, who was beside her, could only hear this.

"Quite! father may listen to you," Qin Sheng mummer to his wife.

Another hand, Old Master Qin smiles when he hears Qin Mingyu was calling him innocent and sensible. "My poor and naïve Qin Mingyu," Old Master Qin whispered in his mind.

Everyone was silent, as they had different thoughts in their mind. What they should tell and how could they complain about Old Master Qin, who starts all, but proves himself as innocent as others were treating him wrong.

However, can anyone stop the old lady, Zhao Wangli, from speaking, "Qin Mingyu! Who are you calling innocent? It's him, who started everything by sprinkling a salt on my wound", the old lady proclaimed with a low voice, as she was showing how pitiful she was. When her fair complexion looks dull.

How was it related to grandma Zhao Wangli?

"Sprinkled salt on your wound?" Qin Weiyi asked with puzzled eyes as she did not understand what grandmother was saying.

All glanced at the old lady's face, as they were curious to hear her out.
