When I arrived at their HQ, a large and intimidating place to all evil doers...except that illusion has firmly been shattered by Severance and whoever else came with him to attack Astro that day.

Standing in the sun, umbrella overhead I squint up at the shining undamaged monolith of metahuman power and industry, it's intimidating to other degrees as well. The way it spirals and reflects light from the cruel shine of the sun, the way it towers higher than anything in the city, anything in Xoxia too.

It spoke volumes of the power Max and the meta's he employs pull. They are an official government body, working side to side with the highest powers in the nation.

Max may as well be a permanent member of the inner circle as far as politics and power goes. He can pull strings many can't begin to see.
