The Wolf prowling across dimensions by Pandora's Reader

 Highschool of the Dead & My Hero Academia/僕のヒーローアカデミア Xover Rated: M, English, Family & Adventure, [OC, Rika M., Shizuka M., Saeko B.], Words: 820k+, Favs: 1k+, Follows: 1k+, Published: Nov 17, 2021 Updated: Nov 9 779Chapter 89: The next step

Guest - Ok, and?

Spider - Thanks.

Seig - I'd hate it if all the time and words I've put into them, that they turned out like that. And nice, I'm happy with the Yin side too, despite having been a random idea I had, it's turning out good.

Panda - Doubtful. Sorry.

Wently - While I do like that idea, I find it doubtful Yin would want to spend years in HP, unless it was a challenge/crossover world or something.

Here's a new chapter for ye.

{Izuku's POV a month later}

Waking up with a yawn, I debated getting up or not. Yesterday had been brutal, since Rei-chan had decided to try 'converting me to the right path', with Dawn... It didn't work, and I was VERY sore afterwards. Takashi-kun and Kohta-kun had both recorded me running away from the ecstatic(read deranged) spear woman, and spent at least ten minutes debating on whose video had the better angles. They were assholes, but assholes that were my bestfriends... But I had to agree, seeing it from an outside perspective, me running from her while she was shouting 'Just grip one of the shafts, you'll love it!' Was... Hilarious... Especially after Rei-chan started chasing the guys around for taking her words out of context.

That memory made me smile, and gave me the energy to get up... And almost fall because I didn't notice one of my legs was still asleep, and I led with it.

I saved myself though!

Anyway, I took my time and waited for my leg to wake up, stretching and thinking as I did so. I could feel how my muscles(I really had those now!), stretched with me, and focused on myself rather then my tiredness. (I wonder if Takashi-kun, Rappa-san and All Might are going to up my training regimen again?) Every two-three weeks, the 'council of muscle', as named by Rappa-san, would meet up, and talk about my training regimen. They split it up in interesting parts. Takashi-kun was in charge of my hand to hand/CQC training, Rappa-san was in charge of my gym regiment, while All Might was responsible for watching over me clean the beach, and for 'surprise evasion' training. Aka, 'THINK FAST!' As he threw a toaster at me... I mean, come on, why would ANYONE just THROW a toaster?

... No, I was NOT still annoyed at that.

I wasn't...

Ok, maybe I was.

That aside, I finished my stretching, and my leg was awake now, so I got up, and made my way to the bathroom. It was time to start my day.

{10 minutes later}

That done, I walked out, and went over to my focus. It was the same color as my hair, and was modeled as a small rabbit. (Haaah... Senpai really thinks she's funny...) Now, I was never going to say that to her face, but I was free to think it. Anyway, putting my focus on, I checked the time, and saw it was 9:41AM. (Hmm... It's Sunday, so that means 12:00PM to 4-5PM at the Zaka household. Maybe I should stay there for a bit longer?) I hummed as I thought about that, then shrugged. (I'll ask mom to see if she's shouldn't be... Unless she's going to the gym... Is she?) I paused, and decided to check my schedule. Mom only had one job now, and when she wasn't at home, visiting auntie Bakugo, talking to one of the mothers from the Zaka household... Or 'talking' with All Might, I shuddered at that, and tried to shunt away the thoughts of my mom and All Might talking to each other about how their days went, what they thought about a certain movie, going to som...- (Goddammit Izuku! Stop thinking about mom and All Might going on dat...- FUUUU...-)

My internal cringe aside, I breathed out, and decided to focus on something else... ANYthing else... Like the new additions to my journals regarding the Zaka household!

With that thought, I walked over to where said journal was, and took it out. Opening it, I flipped towards their entries, and hummed as I read the new bits I wrote. (Takashi-kun found his semblance, 'Rally.' Rally: The moment 'Rally' is activated, anyone designated by the user as an 'ally', will gain a 25% boost to all physical perimeters, be unaffected by friendly fire, and will instinctively know where the rest of their allies are. It's VERY good for a leader, especially that anti friendly fire component of it. No getting flash frozen when Busujima-sensei flash freezes the area, or Kohta-kun bombards us with death from a million guns/cannons.) It was weird the first time I was exposed to it. I'd felt faster, stronger, and more durable then before. It was almost like I had a quirk, and that thought had made me space out for a while.

After I'd broken out of my fugue, I'd ended up coming up with an idea, one that the 'council' approved. Everyday, I'd spend 30 minutes under the affect of Rally, and make sure I was in full control of myself. The idea was that if I could be comfortable under the boost, I'd have a head start on training One For All when I received it. And that was coming soon, since the beach was already 60% clean. Another month or two, and It'd be done.

That aside, I moved onto the next entry, and had to once again, just pause at the sheer ridiculousness of this semblance. (One Man Army: Any and everything 'gun' or 'fire arm' related can be stored inside a hammer space, and deployed at a moments notice... I don't remember who gave him the idea to see if a Destroyer counted, but I don't think I'll ever forget the mad cackle Kohta-kun did after finding out that yes, a Destroyer DID count...) I shivered at that, and decided to put the thought of Kohta-kun casually pulling out a vessel with that many cannons on some unfortunate villain. (It doesn't help that the Sabertooth counted when it was outfitted with weapons.) Sometimes, I wondered just who the most dangerous person in the Zaka household was.

Kohta-kun carried around war machines, frigates that had dozens of cannons, and thousands of guns around with him without anyone knowing. Hell, he even petitioned for Saya-senpai to make him a plane or other aircraft fitted with guns/lasers/cannons so he could store it away and have a flying vehicle for whenever he needed one. They ended up agreeing on making something like that dragon mech from 'Knights & Magic', so he could play with it. Sure, he won't have it until after the GAIA system is done, and all the Horizon machines are finished, but the thought of Kohta-kun pulling out a massive dragon shaped war machine, was both terrifying, and super awesome.

Busujima-sensei could freeze a major city/prefecture in moments if she chose to do so. She's managed to reach subzero temperatures, so she was practically a walking extinction event if provoked.

Saya-senpai could drown the world in monsters/constructs/machines at a moments notice. That wasn't even taking her intelligence into account, nor the massive amounts of damage she could deal if she decided to make a plague for a fun challenge... I cocked my head to the side at that, and thought about it. (If Saya-senpai wanted to end the world, how would she do it?) She had way more options then I'd thought. There were the Grimm, other constructs, Horizon machines, plagues, flooding Japan with her magic, creating bombs. Senpai could be scary if she chose to be.

Maccillian-san could rampage across the world as a giant dragon that breathed Greek Fire, use his 'The One True Wolf' attack to destroy any country in the world, burn everything to the ground, cause hurricanes or tornadoes, or just brute force earthquakes into being. If Saya-senpai and Athena-sama cleared him for it, he could probably drop a black hole on a country and just let it have its way... Huh...

(Moving on.) I flipped towards another entry, and couldn't help but smile when I got to it. (It's a little surprising, but it makes sense. Relay: User can teleport to linked targets, or teleport linked targets to her. Eri'll never be alone again.) It was weird walking into the household, and just watching Eri spam teleporting to her family, but it was funny too. (Then there's the dragon.) That made me pause again, to process that yes, it was still a real thing, and not a figment of my imagination. It was easier to come to terms with considering the 'park', the others were planning to build.

The 'park', was Maccillian-sans idea of a modern day Jurassic Park, but with monsters instead of dinosaurs... (Well... There IS that Bloodsaurus. But that's the only dinosaur like monster they have.) That aside, I focused back on Eri's dragon, which she named 'Sunny.' (At a month old, Sunny is 35cms(14 inches/1 foot 2 inches) long, and 15cms(6 inches) tall on all fours. His wings are 10cms(4 inches long) when resting, and double that when fully spread. His feathers are 5cms(2 inches long) and despite being VERY fluffy(Good gods are they fluffy), they can be sharpened to steel levels by coating them in a tiny bit of mana. Sunny seems to have the intelligence of a puppy, but will most likely grow to human levels as he ages. Cannot breath fire yet, but will most likely be able to as he ages. Aura CAN be awakened, but the decision to wait until he is at least 6 months old was agreed on.) The little dragon was adorable, and enjoyed being pampered, so it might've been smarter then we thought, but that could be confirmed later. (As of now, his diet is a mixture of berries and soft meats. It was surprising to learn he was an omnivore, the tiny teeth he has lining his beak are interesting, but he's a dragon, so he can eat whatever he wants... As long as its not me or other people... Unless they deserve it. Death via Dragon Prince(Hestia-sama had made him, so it was up to her to name his species), would probably not be nice.)

Anyway, with that thought, I closed my journal, and hummed as I put it back. I'd thoroughly distracted myself, and it was probably time to get ready for breakfast. A quick check on my focus confirmed that yes, it was. So, with nothing left to do in my room, at the moment, I made my way to the livingroom.

As soon as I got to the livingroom, I looked over into the kitchen, and saw mom making breakfast, humming, and obviously happier then I'd seen her in years. She was getting back in shape, was growing back to her own height, I didn't know how, but I pinned it on quirks being bullshit. She was a few dozen or so cms shorter then me at the moment, and was still steadily growing back to her old height. She was shaping up to match up with auntie Bakugo again... (Now if only we can figure out a way to get said auntie to stop trying to drag mom to a photo shoot for that modeling agency she saw.) I didn't have anything against my mom modeling, it was just that auntie Bakugo waned to go to a swimsuit agency... And seeing the two of them in swimsuits would just be so weird. (Though, knowing auntie, she's going to somehow manage to convince her to give in.) It would still be weird, but I can live with weird if she found out she had fun.

Which she was. Her relationship with auntie Bakugo was practically back to normal.

My relationship with Bakugo though? That was dead and buried so far deep into the ground, it might as well be some pirates long lost buried treasure. He either tried to provoke me into a fight in order to 'show me my place', or outright attack me. Granted, the first time he tried that second option, I reflexively responded by throwing him over my shoulder, and stomping on his throat before I realized what was going on. Auntie Bakugo took a moment to recognize what I'd done, then laughed, while mom looked horrified before and after she laughed. From that point on, Bakugo had watched me like a hawk, waiting for when we were alone, which was pretty much never, to try to find some moment to take me.

It wasn't going to happen, since not only was I rarely alone, but I wasn't scared of fighting back. I interacted with people FAR more capable then him on a daily basis... Plus, I've been taking Busujima-sensei's advice to heart.

{A month ago}

After a day out with Rei-chan and the others at the karaoke spot they frequented, we had just split up, Takashi-kun, Kohta-kun, Saya-senpai and Rei-chan were heading home, while Busujima-sensei had decided to walk with me for some reason. I didn't question it, because outside of training, she was great to be around. Sure, she had a dark sense of humor, and she could be terrifying with a bokken, but she was my friend, and that's all that mattered.

Anyway, we were on our way back to my home, sensei was interested in my living conditions for some reason, and I wasn't sure why. So I asked her about it. "Hey, sensei?" The slight hum, and twitch of her ear let me know she was listening, while she kept paying attention to the street and people in front of us. "Why do you want to see my home all of a sudden?"

My 'evasion/weapons' sensei hummed, and flicked her tail up to her focus. "Saya asked me to take a look at your home, take some scans, then send them to her afterwards. I am also interested in your apartment, so it's just a 'two birds with one stone' situation to me." I blinked at that, and took it in.

(Senpai wants to see scans of my apartment? What? Why? What would she want that for?) I could go down the rabbit hole and think about it, ooor, I could just ask again. "Um, why would she want that?"

Busujima-sensei hummed some more, then lightly smiled. "She's thinking about your birthday present. I, and the rest of the pack, are unsure of what she's planning, It is obviously SOMETHING, we're just unsure of what." Huh... I wouldn't have seen that coming...

Then I blinked, and gave her a look. "If she IS looking for some kind of present, why would you tell me? Shouldn't it be a surprise or something?"

My sensei looked at me, with a grin on her face, and in the most unrepentant tone I'd ever heard, spoke. "Oops." I snorted, and ignored the look from the nearby passerby. My sensei chuckled a little, and I saw her grin grow. "You won't tell her I've 'spilled the beans', now would you?" That made me snort again, and start laughing. The way she said 'spilled the beans', was just so wrong it was hilarious. I KNEW it was supposed to be 'threatening', but I'd known her for almost 4 months. I knew when she was being threatening, and when she was playful. And she was being playful at the moment.

Between my laughs, I managed to do the zipping motion, and responded. "Your secret is safe with me sensei." That was the right answer, since she grinned, and gave me a nod.

This was one of the things I was loving with my new life. I had people that just casually joked with me, and actually wanted to get me something for my birthday? Outside of my mom, auntie and uncle Bakugo, no one did that. Now? I had at least 5 people that wanted to do that! I knew it wasn't something that should be a surprise, especially after the various birthdays that took place in the Zaka household over the months, but it was! Clearly, my self esteem and idea of what friends actually did, still needed some healing.

Eh, they'd heal ev...- "FUCK YOU LAUGHING AT DEKU?!" Ah, the reason they were still healing.

I stopped laughing, and looked towards the source of the voice, and my former friend. Bakugo was wearing his usual mostly black ensemble, looking as pissed as he always did. I knew it was a part of his Q.I.P.P.E, but at this point, he LET himself be ruled by his temper. He didn't go to Q.I.P.P.E counseling, nor ask for anyone to try and help him. He allowed himself to be a short tempered asshole, and he had no excuse for it. He was stomping towards us, angry as he always was, and probably a little more considering how things have been going in recent times. I wasn't scared of him. Wasn't flinching when his hands sparked or he shouted at me. Didn't try to follow after him in some weird form of friendship.

Getting to us, I noticed something that I hadn't paid attention too before. "Huh... I forgot how tall we are sensei." I did. Thanks to the training, new diet, and just exercise in general, I'd hit a growth spurt. I was 177cms(5 feet 10 inches) now, and had two inches on him. That wasn't even taking sensei into account, who had grown to be 182cms(6 foot) tall without heels. It was a weird feeling being taller then him.

One he didn't seem to like, if the snarl he let out as he looked at me was any indication. His eyes met mine, and he growled like a dog with rabies... Which was an image that I swore super imposed itself onto him as I thought it. "THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING YOU PATHETIC SHIT?!"

I blinked at that, and raised a brow at him. "Going home? You'll need to be more specific." The very light snort beside me told me how my sensei enjoyed that.

Bakugo though, didn't seem to hear or care about that, and growled as he aggressively poked me. "THAT! SHIT LIKE THAT! YOU'VE BEEN LOOKING ALL HIGH AND MIGHTY FOR A WHILE NOW, AND IT'S PISSING ME THE FUCK OFF! THE FUCK ARE YOU HAPPY FOR?! THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING THAT'S MAKING YOU THINK YOU'RE BETTER THEN ME?!" I blinked again, and had to take a moment to just process that.

(Where the fuck is he getting THAT from?) I didn't get it. Looking 'high and mighty' in his opinion, was me just being happy and having friends. But he didn't like to see me happy, or even want that? (Why? Why did I believe he was someone to look up to?) My non existent scars reminded me that even if they weren't physically there, they still affected me.

But not anymore I wouldn't allow it. I looked at Bakugo, and brushed his finger away. He looked ready to swing at me, but I interrupted him before he tried. "I'm moving on from you, that's why I'm happy Bakugo." His eyes narrowed at that, and the hand by his side sparked in a small explosion. I didn't mind either of those, and kept going. "I have people that are real and actual friends. I have people that believe I can be, and WILL be, a hero. And I'm going to prove to them right."

Bakugo froze for a moment, then it was like a volcano erupted. Both of his palms sparked, and he was ready to attack. I reflexively started moving to defend myself, but we both froze when a wave of terror washed over the both of us. I'd experienced it before, so I wasn't as affected, but I still started to sweat as Busujima-sensei's killing intent froze me in place. Bakugo wasn't any better, since he started sweating more, and looked terrified. I was able to look to my side, and saw my sensei scratch her chin, looking completely relaxed, instead of like someone directing killing intent at two people. "While I find your presence amusing, you will in no way, shape, or form, assault my student in direct view of me." Despite feeling like there was a blade on my neck, I smiled. My sensei saw that, and gave me a slight nod. But then her eyes gleamed in mischief, and she grinned. I felt the killing intent disappear, but noticed Bakugo was still frozen in fear. "Now, come along my student, we have places to be."

I blinked, looked at Bakugo, my sensei, then Bakugo again, then shrugged. The options were between going home with my sensei, who was pretty much one of my bestfriends, or stay around and be annoyed that my former friend was trying to muscle his way into my life. Obviously, I was going to choose the first option. So, I nodded at her, and she nodded back. Like that, my sensei walked ahead, and I followed her.

It was maybe 15 seconds later, that I realized Bakugo hadn't made a sound. So, I looked back, and saw he was still frozen. "Hey sensei?" Just like before, her ear flicked a bit, and I knew she was listening. "When is he going to move again?"

Busujima-sensei shrugged. "He'll be fine in either the next 10 seconds, or the next 30 if he's more bark then what I've seen." Huh... I wasn't sure if I should've been annoyed that he would be out of it for a minute at maximum, when I needed 5 minutes, but oh well. I was practically unaffected now, unless she went full blast and made me have death visions.

Those weren't fun. But hey, I handled them!

... After spending a half hour under Marikawa-sensei's fire... But I still handled it!

"However, you shouldn't worry about him." I tuned back into the now at that, and looked at Busujima-sensei. She was still walking ahead, but I saw she was looking at me from the corner of her eye. "A child such as him is essentially beneath our notice. He should be beneath yours as well."

Raising a brow at her, I couldn't help but ask. "Why?" Granted, I wasn't looking for a reason to defend Bakugo, I was genuinely curious as to why she thought that.

She hummed, and gave me a look full of amusement. "It will be one of the worst things you could possibly do to someone such as him. From what we've been told about that child," I found it funny she called Bakugo a child, and actually seemed to mean it. "He believes he is everyone's better. With the drones and sheep heaping praise upon him as if he were the second coming of Christ, he truly believes it. People such as that believe, no, EXPECT, everyone they perceive as their lesser to cower and grovel beneath their heel. One of the best ways to deal with people like them is simple indifference. They expect praise, fear, adoration, cowardice. But something such as apathy? It will stump them for a few moments, but then, it will fuel their anger. They will believe it is their gods given right to impose their will upon others. But when their target just does not CARE about their efforts, they will just get angrier, and lose their composure. It is only THEN, when you strike them down in retaliation, will that tiny seed of doubt grow. It won't be enough at first, such things rarely are, but if they try to do it again? Try to impose their will on others, only to be rebuffed? That seed will grow. Then, after a few more attempts, which all end in failure? The seed will eventually grow into a tree full of self doubt. That tree will shake their beliefs to their core, and slowly begin to send them down a downward spiral of doubt, which will end in one of two ways." I couldn't help but gulp at the slightly 'lustful' expression on her face, and felt a shiver run down my spine as she went on. "They shall either redeem themselves, tossing away their pride and self worth in order to be a better person... Or simply break. Be crushed under the pressure of their self doubts. They can dive into madness, despair, or simply give up."

Well... That wasn't terrifying in the slightest... But... (Could Bakugo redeem himself?) I thought about that, and tried to distance myself from everything I knew about him, to think objectively. "(His quirk, while good for combat, isn't exactly good for much else. Sure, he could provide shaped charge esque things in case its necessary, and he can 'fly' with his quirk, but that's kind of it. Rescue operations... Unless he can explode a wildfire away, dispel a tornado by screaming at it to die, or stop an earthquake, I'm not sure what he can do. If he went into a burning building, he'd need to rely on himself, and not his quirk. If he went to a disaster site and had to engage in rescuing people, the most he could do is blast rubble and evacuate people with his body... Huh... Now that I think about it, the only thing he could be is a combat hero... And even then, the levels of collateral damage he could cause are ridiculous. Hell, a few months ago, he caused hundreds of thousands of yen in damage, and didn't even get a slap on the wrist... Bullshit.)" Hearing a snort by my side, I saw my sensei giving me an amused smirk, and I sighed. "It's all true thought."

Busujima-sensei shrugged. "Yes, it is. That should be another reason you shouldn't focus on the man child, Midoriya." At my raised brow, she elaborated. "He is a one trick dog set in his ways. He's good for one thing, and one thing only." Damn, tell him how you really feel sensei. "YOU on the other hand, are a omnitool. You can adapt, plan for, and plan around any number of situations. A wildfire? You can probably create a device that forms a vacuum, rain, or another way to deal with the issue at hand. A tornado? Personally, I'd just freeze it, an move on, but you could figure something out. An earthquake? Aside from asking my lord, Shizuka, Kiriko, or Athena to punch/stomp it down," There had to be something wrong with me that I could imagine Maccillian-san just looking at an earthquake, and going 'fuck off', before punching it into stopping. "I'm unsure of how to deal with it, but again, you could most likely come up with some form of plan. You do not need to worry about some fool such as that Bakugo child. You are better then he, and you will eventually show him so." Huh.

We walked for a bit more after then, and I couldn't help but agree with her points. Despite not having a quirk, right now, I COULD think of ways to stop or help with those events. Maybe not the earthquake, at the moment, but eventually, I could... Huh... "It's weird that now that I'm not a stuttering mess with self esteem issues the size of Russia, that I can actually see it..."

A soft laugh was my sensei's immediate response. "Just ensure you do not allow it to go to your head, my student. One Saya is enough as is."

For some reason, I pictured myself with massive pink twintails, and laughed at the image. "Hai, Busujima-sensei!" The two of us laughed the whole way to my home.

{Present}

So yeah, I was basically ignoring Bakugo, unless he attacked me, then I'd knock him on his ass. Weird how life does its thi...- "Oh, morning Izu." Well, I guess that's what I get for tuning out to have a flashback. Mom had finished making breakfast, and smiled at me.

I smiled back, and stifled a yawn as I responded. "Moooaarning mom." I obviously failed, but it was whatever.

Making my way to the the fridge, I got some water, and started drinking. As I did, mom hummed a song, and kept on cooking. Seeing how happy she was, I couldn't help but be happy myself. She wasn't overworking herself, had friends just like I did, and even... Dating... Again... I stopped drinking at that point, and just reconciled with the fact my mom was starting a relationship with the Symbol of Peace... (Gods, that's still so WEIRD.) It was, but hey, it made her happy, so I wasn't going to stop her or anything. It was also better then having an asshole who left when it came out I was Quirkless, so really, this was the biggest step up my mom could've ever made... (Ughhh, aren't I supposed to be against this whole thing on principle alone?) I wasn't sure, but that felt like a thing I should've been doing... Oh well.

Anyway, the morning went on, and eventually, mom finished making breakfast. The two of us dug in, and just had casual conversation. The topic eventually went to what the two of us were going to do today, and the answer wasn't surprising. "Mitsuki-chan, Shizuka-chan, Rika-chan, Kiriko-chan and I are going to go to the gym later. After that, we're maybe going to go to a spa. It depends on if those three can agree on it." Ah... Translation, 'We're going to the gym, then I'm going to watch the chaotic three argue for 15 minutes before we go to the spa.' The 'chaotic three', were what I called three specific members of that group. Miyamoto-san and auntie Bakugo got along like they were bestfriends, but could both be headstrong and butt heads when they wanted to do something. It didn't help that Minami-san liked to stir the pot with either of them, and would cause chaos as they argued. Marikawa-sensei liked to just watch and record the conflicts, only stopping them when she randomly wandered off when something caught her attention. Then there was my mom, who was the voice of reason... That was still too shy to get in between the three forces of nature that were her friends...

Now that I thought about it, it was sort of like the dynamic with my new friend group. Saya-senpai and Busujima-sensei 'argued' a lot, which was usually started when my sensei made one little innocuous comment about something, and senpai took offense. They would 'argue' for a bit, which Kohta-kun and Takashi-kun would watch, while Rei-chan recorded until she got bored and either broke it up, or wandered off to find something to do. Meanwhile, I would do the smart thing, and stay out of it. It was wise advice I'd gotten from Takashi-kun, and advice I'd stick too when it came to them.

That thought had, I gave mom a nod, and told her about what I was going to do. "I'll be at the household for a few hours, then probably go see what Hatsumei is up too... And remind her to be a human being in case she isn't." I lost count of how many times I had to remind the energetic inventor to eat or shower, but it was a normal song and dance for us... No matter what senpai said. 'A genius pinkett with big tits huh? Something you want to tell me Midoriya?' NO MATTER WHAT SHE SAID.

Mom hummed, and looked at me with a smile on her face, and I already knew what she was going to say. "Aww, Izu. When are you going to introduce me to your girlfriend?" Yup... I knew it.

Rolling my eyes at her got me a smug hum, but I knew how to respond. "When are you and Mr. Yagi going on a date again?" My mom spluttered, and started waving her hands all over the place. Success!

"I-I-It's not like that! I swear!" I narrowed my eyes at my mom, and did the Hestia/Lili patented 'cheeee' noise. Mom spluttered some more, and buried her face into her hands. "Mooou! Where'd my cinnamon roll go?" I snorted at that, and kept eating. Messing with my mom was fun...

I paused, and blinked. (Is... Is senpai rubbing off on me?) I wasn't sure how to feel about that if the answer was yes.

{An hour and a half later}

After breakfast with mom, and spending some time working on schematics for future support gear, mom left during said time, I made my way over to the Zaka household... Which wasn't far, just a block away compared to the former half hour train ride that it was before... Hmm? That seems like an upgrade you say? Well of course it is, senpai, in her infinite wisdom, decided that the apartment mom and I lived in wasn't proper for her 'assistant', so she bought mom and I a house...

Yes... My senpai bought us a house... For my birthday... Safe to say, mom and I blue screened for a while.

Anyway, I walked up to the Zaka household's door, and rang the doorbell. In moments, I heard the sound of footsteps, so someone was on the way. And when the door opened, I saw who it was. "Sup kid." Maccillian-san in his usual casual wear, a plain black shirt and Flannel pajama pants. His tail was curled around his waist, looking more like some kind of fluffy belt rather then a limb that could easily be turned into a weapon.

I walked in when he moved aside, and gave him a smile. "Hi Maccillian-san. How are you?"

The draconic Werewolf shrugged, and closed the door behind me. "Good. Debated doing something fun or not, but I was outvoted, so I'm kinda bored." Huh...

On one hand, I wanted to ask, while on the other, I was worried about what he wanted to do that was outvoted... I let my curiosity get the better of me though. So, as we walked into the the livingroom, where I waved at Kohta-kun and Takashi-kun, I asked him. "What did you want to do?"

Maccillian-san put his hands behind his head, and grinned. "So, I had this idea about going to the moon or some shit." As people usually do. "Maybe Mars." Sure, why not? "And try out making a black hole or working on my NP." I gave the head of house a look at that, and took in the fact that yes, he could make black holes if he really tried. I also knew about his 'NP', despite never seeing it. "But Saya and Athena basically said 'no, if you fuck up, you'll destroy that planet, and it was still too close.' I mean, come on!" I had to take another moment to realize that yes, the man before me was complaining about not being allowed to go to Mars, and practice making black holes...

(When did this become my life? ... When a little girl thought it would be funny to troll the fuck out of me and All Might.) Ah, yes... (I should give Lili-chan a gift for that.) She deserved it.

A snort from Takashi-kun, who I just noticed was playing BBXTAG with Kohta-kun, brought me out of my thought. "Sir Zaka, it's a black hole. I wasn't even fully tuned into the lecture Saya and Ms. Athena were giving you, and I STILL caught the whole 'Black holes, even the small ones, are bad for our health.' We'd still be fucked if you messed up, other planet or no." Saya-senpai probably wouldn't take the fact Takashi-kun wasn't listening to her when she was talking, but that was his problem.

Maccillian-san shrugged at my karate teacher, then laid down on the couch, like a big cat. Which was funny given what he was. "Eh. You guys are just being pussies about the whole thing. I could stop a black hole from giving us the succ of doom. I've got my full stats, which means millions of aura, on top of a god's worth of mana at my beck n call." Ehh... I remembered the moment he regained his full power, he'd gone to space to let his Sword of Damocles out, and be unchained, which was an awesome event that I doubted I'd ever forget.

But despite that and his confidence, I still wasn't sure. It was a black hole for crying out loud!

Anyway, Kohta-kun hummed, and hit Takashi-kun with a Susanoo combo followed by a Yang assist, which got a squawk of protest from my teacher. It was weird knowing he was playing someone Maccillian-san met personally, but this was my life now. "It's a calculated risk, sure. But I still think you should just go to Pluto or something, Sir."

Maccillian-san snorted at that. "'It's a calculated risk', but I'm shit at math G. ." Now that got a round of laughs out of us.

"Like I said, calculated risk." The laughs just kept going, and it was great.

"Midoriya! Get your ass to my lab already you little shit!" Aaand, I stopped laughing.

Hell, we all stopped laughing, and shared a look. Then, with a flick of his tail, Maccillian-san waved me off. "Don't keep her waiting kid, my girl's got a set a lungs on her."

"I HEARD THAT!"

Maccillian-san snorted. "You were supposed to ceann beag." A 'ughhh!' Was my senpai's intelligent response to that.

The rest of the guys and I shared a look, and the Werewolves shrugged as they went back to the match. Me? I sighed, and started making my way towards the lab. "Talk to you guys later." A trio of 'yeahs/whatever' were their responses.

Making it to the lab, I saw senpai standing in front of my station, arms crossed, looking annoyed, in something other then her casual wear. For some reason, she was in a Qipao, high heels, and had her hair in its usual twin tailed style. Her tail was also slowly swaying left and right, looking kind of like a slow metronome. Though, I recognized her outfit as her first traveling outfit, and knew that only came out for important events... Important events... Uh... "Did I... Did I forget something?"

My senpai snorted, then rolled her eyes. "I've decided it's time. I've cleared this with everyone else, so today, you'll be in my lab for a few hours. You will be tested, you will pass, then I'll awaken your aura. Any questions Midoriya?" I blinked, and despite getting the answer, it took me a minute to understand just what she said. Intellectually, I KNEW the test was coming, I knew, but didn't expect it to be today. So, faced with that, it only made sense that I just stared at her until she got annoyed.

And when an aura newspaper, rolled up for prime bonking, appeared in her hand, I snapped out of it. "U-uh, no?"

Saya-senpai looked at me for a moment, then nodded as she stepped away from my station. As she did, I noticed what looked like blueprints, as in physical copies rather then the digital ones she usually works with. "Hurry up and take a seat." Not one to keep her waiting, I did just that. Sitting down, my eyes roamed the blueprints, and I recognized them the moment I saw them. Looking over to her, I saw my bestfriend/teacher smile. "The first test will be to pick one schematic, and in 45 minutes, devise a way to increase either plausibility, effectiveness, ease of manufacturing, or improve a system by 10% at the very least." Huh.

Looking down at said schematics, I gave them another look, and thought about my options. (A mechashift all terrain vehicle, a restoration chamber that should fix anything except for death, an omnitool, a so...- An omnitool?) I looked over the schematic again, and couldn't help but remember what Busujima sensei said a month ago. That's when I looked over everything again, and saw a pattern. (The vehicle sounds like something Takashi-kun would think of, the restoration chamber could be Marikawa-sensei's idea, the omnitool could be Busujima-sensei, while the sound system would be Rei-chan's idea... Kohta-kun would most likely suggest some kind of gun, so that explains why there wouldn't be one for him.) Huh... Well, that seemed interesting. Taking my time with this, I weighted the pros and cons of each design, and picked the one I was the most interested in.

Seeing my choice, senpai clicked her tongue, and muttered "Dammit, I owe that bitch dinner now." Hearing her say that, I couldn't resist giving her a raised brow, while doing nothing to hide the way I was keeping myself from laughing. The twitch of her ear, eye, and tail told me I was going to be in danger if I said anything, so I didn't, and turned back to my selected schematic. "Good boy." Ignoring that. "Now, you have 45 minutes, so take out your supplies and shit, then get to work. And yes, you're allowed to write on the blueprint." Oh, nice!

Taking out my supplies, I cleared my station of everything aside from the omnitool blueprint, and with a nod to my senpai, started working.

{45 minutes later}

"Time." Stopping, I put my pen down, leaned back into my chair, and stretched, popping my spine a few places that felt nice. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw senpai walk over to my station, and look at what I'd done. She hummed for a few moments, not letting her face or tail show any signs of approval or disapproval, then nodded. "You'll have the option to take a 10-15 minute break, or continue on to the next test. What do you choose?"

While a break sounded good, I shook my head, then went back to sitting normally. "What's the next test?" She smiled at me, and I could see the approval hidden in her eyes.

Gently rolling up my schematic and notes, senpai walked over to and put them on her station, then turned back to come over to my station. After providing me with enough paper, she snapped her fingers, her aura flashing for a moment, then started forming four... Scenarios? From right to left, there was an area that looked like an earthquake struck, then an area that looked flooded, followed by a war zone, finishing off with somewhere that looked like Akihabara, which had 'villains' running around. My brows furrowed as I looked at each scenario, and I turned to my bestfriend for an answer. Seeing my look, she hummed, then answered. "You will have 45 minutes to go over each scenario, and write steps detailing what you would do to help with a limited load out, which will be different each scenario. Also, after you finish the first two, you will be given the option to take a 30 minute break, or to continue. Clear?" Nodding, I looked at each scenario, and knew what this test was supposed to be.

This would test how adaptable I could be, and just what kind of hero I SHOULD be. The grin on my face probably told her all she needed to know, since she mirrored it, and waved her hand towards them. "You can start in any order, and once again, I will call time. Are you ready, Midoriya?"

My grin grew as I picked up my pencil, and I nodded. "100%, senpai!"

And with a small chuckle, she spoke. "Good. Begin."

Picking the 'earthquake', I took in the scenario, and saw a summary of the situation pop up as I focused on it. ~A 8.3 earthquake has hit Iwate.~ Yikes. ~You are part of the rescue effort, and are searching for survivors to retrieve, and send to the nearest triage center. You are partnered with the heroes Twister, Phantom, Bright Star, and Bolair. Your kit consists of a scanner that picks up vital signs, support gear that can produce a moderate healing affect, not enough to completely heal someone, but enough to stabilize them in order to get them to the triage center. Standard bandages, a first aid kit, and a knife proof and bullet resistant suit. You will not have a quirk, and only capable of doing what you yourself are currently capable of doing.~

Humming, I went through that, and brought up what I knew about the heroes I was partnered with. (Twister, Quirk: Storms eye - Can mark things ranging from pebbles to cars, and make them form a rotating barrier around him. Downside, the longer its in use, and the more targets used, create a strain on Twister. Useful for removing rubble, while also useful for using the environment to create a defense in the event of a villain attack. Twister can be focused on removing the rubble when we find someone.) Twister was an easy case to work with, since he'd been a hero and known to be amenable for a decade, but the next one wasn't as easy. (Phantom, Quirk: Ghost - Capable of phasing through anything non living. Anything she is physically touching can also be included in this affect.) Phantom had retired two to three years ago due to age, she was in her late 50's early 60's, and the fact her quirk was losing its effectiveness. She could use her 'ghost form' for 1-2 minutes consistently, and would need at least 30 seconds to catch her breath. If she pushed too hard, then we'd probably end up exhausting her too quickly. Hmm... (Have Ghost only use her quirk when a civilian is dangerously close to flat lining, or they're in an inaccessible location to the rest of us.)

Moving onto Bright Star, I groaned. She was one of the heroes in it for the publicity, and good PR. She'd been a hero for 3 years, and graduated from Shiketsu. (From what I know, she hasn't taken part in a rescue operation like this, and mainly focuses on patrolling the metropolitan areas, while doing model work like Uwabami. Her Quirk: Sunshine - Capable of advanced pyrokinesis, which makes her glow orange, gold, blue, or white, depending on the temperature of flames she uses. I'm not sure how we'd fit her into the operation... Maybe have her act as a beacon for when we found someone, or a large group of people? Hmm... That idea sounds good... Writing that down.) Then there was Bolair... I frowned for a moment, going through my 'database', ans senpai called it, and looked for what I knew of him... And had to hold back another groan when I figured it out. Bolair hadn't even graduated yet, and was a 3rd year in U.A's hero course. His biggest work was helping his mentor during a villain attack last year. (Dammit... Okay, we'll figure something out. Bolair's Quirk: Ramp UP - The longer he's in a fight, the stronger he becomes...) I blinked, then went over that fact again... I didn't even bother holding back my groan this time, and let it out. (What do I do with that?!) It was a Bakugo situation, and I just KNEW senpai was doing this son purpose. "(An evil woman indeed.)" The moment those words left my lips, I felt a subtle chill creep up my spine, and heard a hum that I'd grown to fear.

Slowly, almost mechanically, I turned my head to the source, and saw the 'amused', smile on her face. "Did you say something, Midoriya?"

I gulped, and shook my head. "N-Nothing senpai! Nothing at all!"

A raised brow was her first response, and I did my best not to fear for her righteous retribution. After a few tense moments, she 'smiled' at me. "That's what I thought. Now get back to your test idiot." I snapped my head back towards the earthquake scenario, and did just that.

There was work to do, and a senpai to fear later!

{3 hours later}

"Time." With that declared, and the scenarios dispersing from my station, I dropped my head onto said station, and groaned. "Oh hush you big baby."

Looking over to the Werewolf, who looked far too amused at my suffering, I huffed at her. "Says you. I want to drop onto a nice fluffy bed, or the mat in the gym, or the couch... Anything that feels nice really."

The short laugh didn't make me feel better. "I told you that you had the option to take a break. You're the idiot that decided that breaks were for the weak. Own up to, and deal with your stupid decision, Midoriya." Ughhh!

I knew she was right, but I kinda wanted to get through the test as quickly as possible... Which, in hindsight, WAS a bad idea. But I was sure I could handle it... And I did!

I was just regretting it... A lot.

"Now, to save you from yourself, you'll be taking a full hour of mandatory rest, before we move onto the last test. Am I understood?" I could swear there was a halo over her head, and I could hear the sounds of angels.

Though, it could've just been my imagination. "Yes ma'am."

The smirk on her face, full of self pride and superiority, broke whatever image of holiness that I saw. "Good boy." That did it too. I groaned, and she just laughed.

My senpai really was an evil woman.

{1 hour later}

After a relaxing break, senpai and I went to the training grounds, and were standing across from each other. I wasn't sure what this test was going to be, but I just knew I had to pass it. "Finally, you're practical test." She stomped a heel, and her aura washed over the grounds. Before my eyes, it looked like a highly sped up version of a construction sight. Buildings were being made, roads coming into existence, and a 'people' filled the streets. It was all pink, so it was easy to tell this wasn't really real. When it was all done, we stood in a pink dyed version of Mustafu, and on a street I recognized. "The test is simple. You will be going after a villain responsible for robbing the bank. You will have 30 minutes to catch and or kill your target, and if you do not, you will have failed." I clenched my fists at that, and steeled myself. I was close, I was NOT going to drop the ball here. "You will be given four options to choose as your load out."

Snapping her fingers, a weapons rack formed by my side, and came with a full set of equipment. Gauntlets that reminded me of Ember Cecilia, but without the shotgun shells, armored combat boots, a moderately armored body suit with a utility belt, and a helmet that reminded me of one of those old Super Sentai shows that Eri watches. Aside from the fact everything was pink, it looked simple and easy to use. "First option, Close Quarters Combatant." Simple enough.

Another snap, and another rack materialized in front of me. This rack had three guns, a pair of Desert Eagles and a sniper, a body suit that came with a trench coat, and some hover boots. There wasn't a helmet, since for this set a visor was my supposed head wear. "Second option, Gun Slinger." Well, that wasn't a surprise.

The next snap, and I looked at the new rack. This one was interesting, because instead of clothes, there was armor, like, actual superhero armor. Sure, it was all pink, but seeing the Iron Man esque armor, with what looked like retractable wings, and most likely in constructed systems like blasters and the like, it was pretty tempting. "Third option, Aerial Superiority." Well, just by her tone alone, I knew she liked that one the best.

The last snap, and last rack materialized before me, and I groaned. "Seeenpaaai!" The snickers coming from her just weren't helping... At all... The last set was a pink version of the hero costume I'd made when I was in middle school, going through my 'Mighty Man' phase.(His season 1 outfit) It was embarrassing!

"I'm joking. Here." And like that, she snapped again. The rack disappeared for one moment, then reappeared with a new set. This set had a Bo staff(Wink wink) as my main weapon, with some lightweight gauntlets and a pistol as secondary weapons. It was more like my current sketches for my hero costume were. The shoes, despite being pink, were the same type that I always wore, but different. The front, and heel, were plated, the soles had small holes on the bottom that would let me make jumps I wouldn't normally be able to make. The leggings were lightly armored, enough to protect my legs, but not enough to slow me down with their weight. The chest was covered by a cloak, but underneath would be a fiber mesh shirt that should be enough to stop bullets. Then there was my helmet. I was paying homage to All Might, and had a guard for my mouth in the event of a gas leak or something, while the mask covered my face, and had rabbit ears. I was tempted to do more lupine ears, but Lili-chan made everyone vote for my suit to have rabbit ears... I wasn't sure why Maccillian-san was so insistent on it, but I didn't want to ask.(His current outfit. I like it too much to change it.)

Seeing it all, I wasn't sure what to go with. "You'll have 10 minutes to make your decision, then you will have another 10 minutes to gear up, stretch so you don't pull anything or something, then the test will start. First timer begins now." Aaand that didn't make it any better.

Sighing to myself, I looked over each set, and started going over the pros and cons of each one. (CQC will be good for me to use my martial arts, while also offering me protection in the event the villain fights back. The gauntlets could be used to help me attack and defend myself, while the boots should be armored enough to let me attack with my legs. But not only do I not have any mobility options aside from myself, I won't have anything for range. The scenario is a bank heist, so unless I get there the moment the villain walks out the front door, or enter the bank to stop them from doing that, then I'll be at a disadvantage. Hmm...) Looking over to the 'Gun Slinger' set, I looked it over. (If i want range, then this is the best option. Hover boots will give me mobility, the sniper will be perfect in the event the villain tries to escape, and I can get set up to get a shot in, while the pistols will be good for short range in case I need or want to engage that way. But there's still the chance I miss, and hit a bystander or property. There's also the chance the villain uses the bystanders and property as cover, making it harder for me to use my sniper. Hmm... Next.) Looking over to the power armor, I squashed any feelings of childish delight, and thought objectively. (I'd be able to take to the skies, and easily follow the villain, maybe pepper them with whatever on board weaponry is there as well... And maybe fight in close quarters... And that's it? Cons would be I don't know how to fly... So I'd need to not only spend time to test that system out, but bet on being able to reliably use it while only having 10 minutes to test it out. Doesn't help that I don't know what weapons I'd have... Huh... The power armor doesn't have as many advantages as I thought... Interesting. Moving on.) My eyes landed on the pink version of my hero outfit, and I thought about it. (I know the Bo staff well enough to use it effectively, sorry not sorry Rei-chan, the pistol is easy enough, thank you Kohta-kun. Hand to hand with the gauntlets would be easy, Takashi-kun I thank you for beating the shit out of me daily... Huh... I've got some strange friends. Anyway, the shoes will give me a little mobility, which should be enough for me to move around however I want. Cons are I might not have enough mobility, my range options aren't THAT good, and I have no idea what the villain may be like... Hmm... Welp, good enough.) Nodding to myself, I made my decision.

{15 minutes later}

After outfitting myself, I took the time to get used to my load out, and I had to say, despite being a bunch of constructs, it was good. There were a few minutes left, so after I finished with my light work out, I turned to my senpai, who was on the sidewalk, laying on a reclining chair, and working on something with her focus. I took a look at what she was working on, and realized it was the GAIA system. Aside from Hecate and Poseidon, the system was almost done. Well, there was GAIA that still needed to be made, but she came after everything was done, so that could be excused.

She must've noticed me looking, and met my gaze with her own. "You done?"

Thinking about that, I hummed, then shrugged. "As done as I can be. Can I start the test?"

My senpai looked at me for a bit, then flicked her tail in a 'whatever', motion. With a snap of her fingers, constructs of pink people, who made ambient noise, cars, buses, and the chirping of birds filled the area. Then, the sound of an obnoxiously loud siren rang through the air, and after totally not jumping in surprise, I gave her a look. She just raised a brow at me, and looked at me like I was an idiot. "First off, I SAID it was a bank heist, last time I checked, this wasn't the bank. Secondly, this is YOUR test, so you gotta leg it, not me." The reclining chair changed underneath her, and it changed into moderate sized Nevermore, that took to the air with a few flaps of its wings. "Test start!"

Sighing, I back flipped off the ground, and towards the nearest building, taking a moment to land on a balcony I saw before doing this, then jumped again, up to the roof of the building the balcony was on. As soon as I hit the roof, I took a moment to take in my surroundings, and pinpoint where the alarm was at. Because even if this was a replica of an area I knew, the bank wasn't actually in this area, so I had to actually FIND it first.

When I did, I took a running start, and jumped onto the next roof. And I had to give it to senpai, her aura constructs felt so real, that I almost thought I actually landed on a real roof. (Compliment her prowess later, focus on the test now.) So, that in mind, I ran across the rooftops, and made my way to the bank.

{5 minutes later}

I made good time, in my opinion, and managed to see the 'villain' leave the bank. Seeing what it was, I couldn't help but just stare. (... A Minotaur, mixed with some kind of giant?) That was my best description of it. It looked to be 300 or so cms(10 feet), and more built then All Might. The top half was basically what I remembered of the Minotaurs senpai and the others showed me, while the bottom half was a normal guys legs, just as bulky as the rest of its body. (Why is this a bank heist?! She could've just said, 'go fight the bull man, Midoriya.' Or, 'Prepare for a miniboss.') Shaking that thought off, I jumped off the roof, and rocketed towards the villain. "Stop! In the name of the la...-" The villain roared, it sounded like a 'moo', but bass boosted far past anything that was acceptable, and charged me. Now, I was used to fighting people, but a suspiciously not pink Minotaur man? Not used to it! "OR NOT!" I jumped away, and reached for my pistol as I did.

The villain blew passed me like a train off its tracks, and barrelled down the street, uncaring for any cars or civilians in its way... (Shit, that's too much damage.) A car had flipped over, and while the 'civilians' were evacuating, not all of them were fast enough. (Alright Izuku, priority #1, either get this thing away from the civilians, or finish this fight soon. Given its primary reaction of 'run it over!', This thing probably doesn't have that much intelligence. I'll need to test if it'll mindlessly charge at me again, and if it does, then I'll lure it away. If it does something else, I'll need to work out a new plan.) My 'plan' planned, hah, I aimed my pistol, and shot towards its leg. The villain had stopped charging, which helped the shot connect. From where I was, I saw a small hole be the result of my shot, and even saw some 'blood', leak out. (Huh, why green? And why does this thing get to have color, while I'm all pink?!) The time to question that passed, since another roar was let loose from the Minotaur villain, and it turned to glare at me with the hate of a million cows... "Huh... Sensei's is worse you overgrown beef patty."

The Minotaur roared at me, then did something that made me pause... It reached for a car, and I immediately knew what was going to happen... So, preemptively dodging, I rolled towards the nearest alleyway, and jumped off the walls like Mario. It was enough to avoid the car, and gain the high ground... Though, seeing the car be thrown effortlessly, I had a quick thought. (Note to self, don't taunt the villain that can grab and throw cars as if they're toys.) I ignored the voice in the back of my mind, that suspiciously sounded like Lili-chan that said 'it'd be funny though', and focused on the villain. It was still glaring at me, in all its bully hatred, and decided to try to and finish this as quickly as possible.

{Saya's POV}

Watching over my assistant, I hummed as he jumped off the roof, and shot towards the Minotaur like a bullet. The Minotaur roared at him, and reared its fist back to smash into the little rabbit. But, a few moments before the fist connected, Izuku twisted in mid air, followed by a burst of air blasting out from his shoes, helping him reach the ground. But, his maneuver didn't stop there, as he landed with a one handed hand stand, before pushing himself off the ground, flipping up as he did. He then SOMEHOW, by the grace of whatever gods blessed him, landed on the Minotaur's shoulders, and tightened his legs around its neck as he brought his pistol up, and placed the barrel against the constructs skull, then double tapped the trigger... Killing the construct... (The fuck?! What kind of Super Sentai anime bullshit did I just see?! He's still human, so where the fuck did THAT come from?! The hell have we been feeding him?!) I expected him to take his time and plan around the Minotaur, but he just straight up kills it? (This is Saeko's fault, I just KNOW it!)

I huffed at that, and decided to just say 'screw it.' So, with a snap, I deconstructed the area, making the 'city' disappear. As it did, I directed my Nevermore towards my assistant, and prepared to give him his prize for succeeding.

{Izuku's POV}

I almost lost my footing when everything started disappearing, but I managed to stand my ground. (Good thing too, since senpai probably wouldn't let me live it down if I tripped on air.) No one else would either, but she was the one here capable of recording it. Speaking of senpai, her Nevermore landed in front of me, and disappeared with a loud 'caw.'

She landed and started walking up to me, with a smirk on her face. "You did good Midoriya, just as well as I thought." A tiny part of me, a part that sounded like Busujima-sensei said 'bullshit', but I didn't get why. Unaware of my inner sensei doubting her, senpai went on. "For your omnitool schematic, you managed to combine the idea of using a mechashift mechanism to create a theoretical, proper omnitool capable of turning into whatever tool you'd need. When you get it built, it'll probably be one of your most interesting inventions." Despite how long we've worked together, I couldn't help but blush at the praise and confidence senpai gave/had in me. Despite saying it was 'theoretical', she also said 'when' I had it built, not 'if.' It made a world of difference to me. It didn't help that she finished that off with a smile, and saying "Nice work."

Though, she didn't stop there, and went onto the next test. "You adapted well to the theoretical scenarios, and I'm happy to say you're mind is more then just a quirk database and social ineptitude." I felt an arrow pierce my everything at that second point, and wondered if I should just take the backhanded compliment. "And finally," Nevermind, she went on before I could think about it. "The practical. You did very well," No clue what the emphasis on 'very' was for, it sort of sounded like she was annoyed, but I didn't fully understand why that would be the case, so I ignored it. "All in all, you passed with flying colors my assistant." I couldn't help but beam at that, and even with my mask on, I was sure she saw it, since she looked way more amused now.

Then it caught up to me. I'd spent so much time on the tests, that I almost forgot about the reason I was taking them. My eyes went wide, and I couldn't stop myself from asking the question. "Does that mean... I've earned it?"

Senpai snorted, then looked at me like I was an idiot. "No, I just spent 6 or so hours with you because I like your bubbly personality." Ouch! "Yes you've earned it stupid." Better! My smile threatened to split my face, and I practically vibrated in place. Seeing that, senpai laughed, and flicked me on the head, dispelling my mask. I could've done without that, but before I could say anything to that, Saya-senpai put the finger she used to flick me on my head, and looked at me with a happy smile on her face. "You ready for this, Izuku?"

I momentarily froze, since that was the first time I'd heard senpai say my first name. Then I felt pride and joy practically overwhelm me. I looked at my bestfriend/senpai, and smiled. "Yes, Saya-senpai!" Her grin matched mine, and I really knew, that at that moment, she finally dropped her 'Tsundere wall', and was acknowledging me as a bestfriend. Then, after that thought, it all came to a head as she spoke.

"For it is in passing that we achieve immortality.

Through this, we become a paragon of virtue and glory to rise above all.

Infinite in distance, and unbound by death.

I release your soul, and by my shoulder, protect thee."

And the world lit up before my eyes.

[Omake - A MILFY day out. Rika's POV]

Letting my body sink into to perfect temp water, I didn't stop the moan that came out from me. "Ahhh... Nothing beats a good ol onsen, right ladies?"

On my left, Shizuka gently going 'yeaaah' as she sunk into the water sounded off, while on my right, Koko let out a moan of her own as she got into the water. "Fuck, I missed this." My rival in MILFhood relaxed into the onsen, and practically melted into the waters. "... Yo... Why the fuck do we NOT have an onsen at home?"

I blinked at that, and shared a look with Shizuka, who despite looking like she was already halfway conked out, seemed to think the same thing. Looking back to Koko, my bestfriend responded first. "We... Never asked? Silver could make one... Saya too probably... We could even ask the ratman for one..." She blinked again, and tilted her head to the side, looking both adorable, and hot at the same time. "We should get an onsen. I wanna onsen... Maybe two... Mhm... Onsen." She was officially tuning out of the conversation now, probably because her piece was said.

Meanwhile, Koko and I snorted at that, and I spoke this time. "Sure, let's ask the smartest rat in the world, our Werewolf husband that could crack the planet in half, or the little genius that's making a robot army and AI overlords, for a onsen in the house. Fucking wonderful idea." Koko rolled her eyes at my overflowing sarcasm, while Shizuka just hummed a noncommittal response.

Then, another form joined us in the waters, and wrapped a shoulder around Koko's. "... The fuck did I just hear?"

Mitsuki was giving us both, she didn't bother looking at Shizuka considering she was already lightly snoring by my side, a look. Koko and I looked at each other, then I poked her with my tail, which was all wet and soggy now. "Not it." Her eye twitched, and she dragged her tail on my arm... I saw a few furs had somehow rubbed off on me, and I huffed. (Petty bitch.)

Dealing with that, and seeing the last member of our little MILF brigade join us, Koko shrugged. "We're just questioning who should build us an onsen in our mansion. You know, the usual shit."

Mitsuki snorted, then laughed at that. "Yeah, the 'usual' shit. I talk to my friends about shit like that everyday. 100% normal, don't worry about it." Mhm, it looks like I'm not the only one that can use sarcasm.

Oh well. "It's the usual for us, so that just makes us better then yooou." Pot stirring time! A raspberry was my new blond compatriots response, which made me internally sigh since I wanted something more fun.

"You were better then me when ya said none of you girls have to deal with back pain anymore. That's all kinds of bullshit." That got a laugh from Koko and I, which Mitsuki joined in on. Shizuka was zoned out, taking in the bliss of the sauna, and Inko was too shy to join in on our laugh. It was whatever though.

Then I paused, and remembered a funny little thing. "I tell you girls about the time Nem-Nem practically begged me to bite her?"

The two bipolar women of our group looked at me in interest, telling me that no, I didn't. "When the fuck did THAT happen?" Made sense Koko would wanna know.

Though, Mitsuki and Inko seemed confused... Oh. "Nem-Nem is Midnight." That got recognition from the two of them, and I got a SUPER interested look from Mitsuki. Inko was curious too, but was also focusing on the sauna. "Anyway," Turning to my pack mate, I tried to remember the reason she didn't know, and ended up coming up blank. "No idea why you don't know, sounds like your fault though."

"Oi!" Ignored!

"Anyway, we were talking about her gimp suit, and the fact she lets her girls hang free, right." Nods from Mitsuki and Koko, and a big ol blush from Inko, the pure one of us all. "And we end up getting onto why none of us wear bras anymore, cause fuck em, and we eventually get onto the topic of how much our spines hate us for having fat tits."

"Tits not fat... They're perky... And nice... Yeaaah..." Looking over to my bestfriend, and her beyond impressive bust, I was sure that we were all giving her a look. Not that she cared, she was too busy in happy land.

Looking back to the rest of the girls, we instantly agreed not to mention it. "Anywaaay." Perfect distraction me! "We got onto that topic, and the moment I told Nem-Nem that we don't have back problems, or age anymore, she went feral. I swear to gods, she developed rabies the second I told her that. It was hilarious watching her chase after me, shouting at me to bite her 'sweet ass.' It was great." That got my girls laughing, and even Inko was lowly giggling. I laughed with em, and it was nice.

Then Mitsuki stopped laughing, scrunched her brows, then looked at Kiriko, Shizuka and I, and stared. "You girls don't what again?"

Koko and I shared a look, and before I could think or say anything, she smacked me with her tail. "Not it." THIS PETTY BITCH! The shit eating grin on her face cemented it for me. I was swearing eternal vengeance against her for this sleight!

The 'ahem' from Mitsuki tore my eyes from the smug bitch, and towards her. She was still waiting for an explanation, so I shrugged, and got ready to do this song and dance again, electric bogaloo edition.

[EXTRA Omake - Here come the consequences. Rebecca Costa-Brown's POV, a few hours after the booms went boom.]

Going over the report in my hands, I suppressed the impulse to rub my eyes, and settled on sighing. I knew of the new cape in Brockton Bay, it was hard not too considering the entrance she made into the cape scene. I just hadn't given her too much attention, since she was Calvert's problem. Reading over the report, that was obviously, the wrong thing to do. (City wide mastering, capable of inducing emotions of calm/focus. Described as weak, capable of being shaken off if the victim chooses to do so, but able to reach the whole city... It's the Simurgh all over again, just unbelievable watered down... Dammit.) Reclining back into my seat, I went over what I, and by extension, the Protectorate, knew of 'The Morrigan.'

(Suddenly appeared on April 8th, first public action was a decapitating strike against the Archers Brigade Merchants, as 'Macha', subduing the whole gang's cape roster in one fact that all of their capes, even Trainwreck, were there seems suspicious. It could've been a coincidence, but the possibility for it being a planned move seems more likely. Hours after the Merchants were defanged, she shows up once again as Badb, the so called 'strongest' aspect. Then, on April 12th, she debuts 'Nemain' by taking down Hookwolf by using sheer brute force... If they were just one cape, this would be easier, but she's a Trump with multiple power sets. It SEEMS like the prerequisite for her other aspects to come out is dependent on the day, but if she's fatally wounded or in mortal danger, that might not matter... It doesn't help that her ratings are all over the damn place.) Thinking about that, I scowled, and mentally brought up the threat ratings she was given.

(Macha)

Brute: 6 - True rating unknown due to subject never engaging in physical combat, however rating is given due to subject being unaffected to small caliber bullets.

Mover: 3 - Macha seems to prefer riding on a massive raven projection, speeds have been recorded at 30-75MPH, can possibly go faster, assume it can go faster.

Shaker: 6 - Shown capability to create tree roots able to contain Brutes. Roots were tested by Miss Militia and Glory Girl. They did not break, and had to be dismissed by Macha.

Master: 9/2 - Macha has shown that she can create thousands of projections, and effortlessly command them all. Has also shown capability of using a city wide calming affect that can be shrugged off.

(Badb)

Brute: 6* - While it may be unknown if Badb can easily handle gunfire as well as Macha, it is safer to assume she can.

Mover: 5 - Badb went from standing perfectly still, to behind Lung in moments. Her true speed is unknown, but this rating is enough to ensure her speed is taken into account.

Master: ?/9 - While the projections were shown to follow her around, Badb has made no indication of whether she can direct them all. Worst case scenario is that she can.

Tinker: 5/? - Her main weapon, a scythe, seems to be mechanical in nature. It's main form is a scythe, but it's unsure what else the weapon may be capable of.

Stranger: Badb is able to slip away without

(Nemain)

Brute: 9/10* - Despite the 'exaggerated' claims, Nemain is known to not only have a HIGHLY potent healing factor, but capable of taking attacks that would dismember anyone of a lower rating. *Rating is subject to change due to 'Werewolf' forms capabilities.

Mover: 5 -Nemain can move at speeds similar to Badb, but her maximum is unknown.

Changer: 3/9 - Nemain can turn into a wolf with pure black fur and red eyes. She also has a 'Werewolf' form, that she has gone on video to show when her fans asked.

Sighing, I took some time to just think, and eventually come to a solution. (She can be useful. If she's as capable as she said, then we'll gain a rather potent weapon.) With that thought in mind, I made sure my body double was in place, and went to get my suit. "Door to Alexandria's room." The portal opened, and I walked through.

When I was suited up, I'd be ready.

{5 minutes later}

With my suit on, I nodded to myself, then spoke. "Door to Cauldron meeting room." The door opened, and I flew through.

Entering the room, I took a moment to register the fact that aside from Legend, everyone was here. If this had been another day, I would've just found this odd... But this wasn't another day. I didn't even need my Thinker power to come to a conclusion about just why everyone was here. Dropping down to the ground, and into my seat, the others looked ready to get on with the meeting.

And said meeting started with a bang. "I cannot path 'The Morrigan', nor any of her 'aspects.'" God dammit...

{One long talk that I don't feel like writing later}

We'd come to a decision. Firstly, I'd sign a kill order on The Morrigan and her aspects, ensure public opinion would be against her by labeling her attempt at calming the city a failed chance to master the populace, then force her out of the bay by applying pressure on her through the ENE and Triumvirate. With her on the run, we could isolate her from any allies she has, then door her to a Cauldron facility, where we'd trap and wear her down. After she's worn down and incapacitated, we'll ask her some questions, determine just how much of a threat she is, if she can be used, we'll use her. And if she needs to be disposed of, then we act accordingly. It was a decent plan.

I doubted anything could go wrong.

{A few days later, Yin's POV}

Staring at Legend, Alexandria and Eidolon, who were knocked out on the ground, trapped in aura enhanced magic roots, which were growing out of the air somehow, and being sat on by an Ursa respectively, I narrowed my eyes, and hummed. (... What do I do now?) I had been running around, not at the speed of sound, when a motherfucking portal opened up in front of me. Now, since I was already moving, I couldn't stop. So, me and my lil wolfy self, I was in my Wolf form when they pulled this shit, ran into it, and came out... Somewhere... I didn't know where the hell we were, at first, and I was being blasted by beams of 'fuck you.' So, I just fought back. My Aura Constructs skill pretty much maxed itself when I dumped almost all of it into making dozen of titan equivalent Nevermore, Sea Feilong, and Manticores... What? Fuckers kidnapped me outta nowhere, while trying to turn the goddamn city against me, and failing, fuck am I gonna hold back for? Well... I was going to hold back against Legend, cause he was a good guy, but fuck the other two.

Anyway, I kept trapping Legend in aura cubes shaped like Merlin's 'Perfect Cube', even though he kept breaking out. I eventually got too annoyed at him, and kicked him in the chest with some of my Brawler skills active. Eidolon went down after being ganked by the big guns, he was knocked out and being sat on by an Ursa Major, while I focused Alexandria with magic and other Gamer bullshit. Sure, she tried to get close to me, and she did. But I went into my Werewolf form and smashed the bitch across the jaw with the force of a runaway train.

The fight had gone on from there, but I eventually won... I just wasn't sure what to do with them...

Hmm...

I thought about it, I essentially had the bogeymen at my mercy...

Hmm...

I blinked, then felt a grin form as I figured out just what I wanted from them. So, strutting over to Alexandria, who was glaring at me as best as she could, I grinned. "We have some demands."
