Not so Easy

The job wasn't as easy as Houston had been hoping it would be. He could deal with having to share an office with a rather grump man who didn't want to have anything to do with him and refused to share much of the space with him beyond what he absolutely needed. 

He could deal with Ambrose who was big on making sure that problems didn't happen and everyone got along as best as possible even if there were problems that needed to be dealt with. 

What he had a hard time dealing with however were the people in the area who didn't want to talk with him about anything that happened. 

The first day he had out of the office to go and talk with people was a horrible experience. They admitted that they were aware of what was going on, but no one wanted to talk about it. They either brushed him off or just said that they heard it through the grapevine but weren't directly involved in it despite the fact that the information he had been given said otherwise.
