At The Yamaguchi Residence

Several hours before the cafe incident, Yamaguchi Alan was sitting alone on the front porch of their main house, looking quite lost as he kept staring at the lovely garden in their front yard.

His classmates back in Hirosaki University were planning to host another mixer party where he was invited to join. But this time, he turned down the offer. 

He did not even enjoy the last mixer he attended where he only joined out of obligation. There is no way he would join another one.

Most of all, it didn't even let him forget the girl he likes even one bit. The more he is there, the more he thinks of Sakura even though he is with another girl. His partner that was paired with him was truly beautiful and cute too, but Alan can't seem to even like being with her.

Hence, attending such parties was just a waste of time on Alan's part. He prefered to just stay here in their main house and enjoy the solitude this afternoon.
