42. A big fat lie

My mind quickly said 'no'. But I stopped my mouth to speak that. If I said no now and tell them later that I'm going to leave somewhere. Or going anywhere. Whatever that is I don't know. So that will not sound appropriate.

"Well actually, there's something that I have to tell you guys." I said in a hesitated manner.

"What is it?" Max asked. He sound serious. He was already aware that there was something I was hiding.

"Is something wrong?" Stacy asked. Her voice was low.

"Let's go to a restaurant and talk." I said with a faint smile.

They both gave a nod. We then went to a nearby restaurant and sat at a corner table where there is no disturbance. I took the menu card to order food.

"Aren't we going to talk?" Stacy asked, looking at me order the food.

"Aren't we going to eat?" I asked, glancing at both of them one after another.

"You and your appetite." Max shrugged.
