Breach

In wastes of Solitas was a secret Schnee facility hidden to be the unnamed mountain. But from an outsider's view, it was just a white box build on the white snow background, but those who are perceptive enough could feel hidden danger the seemingly innocent box exudes.

Inside of the secret facility was a security room that was now blaring alarms that made everyone stop in their task as they sought the cause of the alarm.

The V.I of the facility reported, and cameras showed a live video feed of a sector that was a kilometer away from the facility.

"What the."

One of the security guards said as he and others saw how an enormous worm that was entirely black with a bone head plate emerged from the ground just to trash around and then again gone back into the underground.

"WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT THING?!"

Another security guard said as it was the first time in his life to see a Grimm like that, and he was a retired huntsman!

Then there was an earthquake, and from the now tunnel that left from the worm-Grimm emerged a black mass like a tide of Grimms of all proportions, from Beowulfs to Elder deathstalker's the black mass tide just grew more prominent.

Even as the guards were shocked and stupified, frozen from the doom sight, the facility V.I wasn't, and as to respond to the threat, numerous towers emerged from the all-around snow facility that immediately cullet the tide with automated machine guns and cannons spewed fire.

The V.I radioed over the entire facility as it sent S.O.S signal to all Schnee frequencies. The guards finally waken up from their shock and immediately made their way to the armory with other guards that were all around the facility.

The facility's halls were filled with a hurry as guards were running to armory and civilians to bullhead evacuation sites. However, even with all their hurry, they still made way to Bastion droids that were managed by V.I that sent them outside to create the last line of defense.

Outside of the facility was taken place a battle of attrition between ammunition of defense towers and Bastion droids against a seemingly numberless tide of Grimms that was still emerging from the tunnel.

*Five towers fallen*

V.I reported to guards helmets.

"Go, go, go! This is the last batch!"

The head of security of the facility said as he saw the last scientist board bullhead.

V.I reported, and the guards could see how the last defense tower that bought them time for evacuation fallen in self-destruction as the last fuck you to all close Grimms.

The security personnel was last to board bullhead and watched how one after another Bastion unit fell under Grimms' tide.

"Shit, this was close."

One of the guards said as he was trembling little from the sight of black tide.

And others just noded. No matter how experienced they were, the black tide brought chills to them all.

"What the fuck was that fucking worm?!"

The newest guard asked as he tried not to look at the facility he worked being overrun by Grimms.

"I don't know, but it was at least a hundred meters long some new underground species?"

The pilot of the bullhead said to the intercom as he gave the last look to a facility that was set to self-destruct in such a case like this.

"Shit, shit, shit, shit."

One of the guards muttered to himself as he watched azure explosion and flames that devoured every evidence of any man-made structure in the area and taking thousands of Grimms with itself.

"Why, the fuck, were they even there? how did they know, and how the fuck were they so coordinated?!"

The most panicked guard asked just to be silenced by the head of security.

"That's not for you to know."

The head of security said as he himself knew what research was in their facility ongoing.

"You just need to know that this event just confirmed that the tides of war against Grimm just turned to our favor."

The head of security said and hoped that whatever the egg-heads did down there could be replicated as a vision of Grimm lure would be a godsend to their plans of mass execution of theirs numbers.

"But!"

The guard said but stopped when he found that he now gathered the attention of every other guard that held a weapon in their hands.

"No, but this is above your paygrade, so calm down, soldier, or you will be punished."

The head of security said to now panicked guard that looked around and saw that nobody was going to speak on his behalf, seeing his situation, he calmed himself or at least tried.

Seeing the soldier calming down, the others soldiers just relaxed their grips on weapons and sighed in relief as it was common in SPCS to cull any insurgencies and spies.

Still, everybody knew that the guy will have from now on sight on himself, as his actions were proven unsuitable to such situations.

After an hour of traveling at maximum speed, the pilot said.

"Guys, we are closing to our destination!"

Some looked outside and saw a magnificent sight, a white fortress that was positioned on the peak of a mountain, spotting enormous snowflake symbols on its walls.

All around the fortress could be seen similar defense towers that protected their small facility, but these were ten times bigger with more weapons.

And in the skies, in the skies, the guards could see a fleet of white airships that sported snowflake symbol proving it to be a private army of Schnee family, the SCPS.

"Holy. Crap."

One of the guards muttered as he saw the sight of the fortress that looked so sturdy so that he and others doubted that the Grimm tide that they run from could take it.

"Hey, I know that's a stupid question, but is it legal?"

One of the guards asked, and others too wanted to know. The head of security looked at them like idiots and sighted.

"This is a Solitas wastes boys, and there the Atlas Council don't have any power no matter how much they wish to have, so yes, it is legal."

And with that, the others just looked on the private army of Schnee family that they know was secret as if this was made, the entire public net would be full of it.

The head of security looked at them and just shook his head as he knew that once they step out of the bullhead, there would be soldiers waiting to take them for debriefing and signing additional non-disclosure contracts.

And if some of them refused?

It was not the first time for them to disappear. After all, this place doesn't tolerate traitors to their benefactor.

The head of security looked at the sight and couldn't wait for the day it was made public.

A day he would see a snowflake on Atlass city.
