Double Agent

Alexis laid back on the sofa and played on her tablet. Martha was lying on her legs, yawning occasionally. From an outside perspective, it looked like a lazy owner and a cat. However, Alexis was fully geared with her basic combat suit and respirator. Meanwhile, Martha was as big as a cougar. After dealing with the First Strike Squad and taking back leadership, she returned to the lab to complete her task.

She would occasionally check the time on her spawning ability. It moved down normally, however, due to Martha's ability, time flowed quicker near her. She could only keep it up intermittently, but with constant use over the last few hours she was able to increase it incrementally. Based on some calculations, sitting in Martha's field would decrease the total gestation time for her spawns by a day.
