After hearing the report, Shen Ming wrath appeared on his face.

"A student of the fighter apprentice class dared to challenge my Sacred family!" Shen Ming sneered exposing a brutal look on his face.

"Isn't Young Master Shen Yue soon going to reach the 1-star bronze rank? How could he not be this Nie Li's opponent?" Puzzled, Shen Ming looked at the underling below him.

That underling felt the chill within Shen Ming's expression, which sent shivers down his spine, before saying, "I'm not very sure of it, Young Master Shen Yue said that, it all happened too fast. One minute everything was normal and another he was overwhelmed. Nie Li used some underhanded means to supress him"

Hearing the words of his underling, Shen Ming frowned. 'What nonsense! He lost to a nobody and found some excuse after he lost, but how strong could a student from fighter apprentice class be? Probably not even 1-star bronze rank.'

"Main Affair Elder, How should we deal with this matter. Should we get our men to teach him a lesson and cripple him?"

"No, this confrontation occurred before a crowd and if we take such aggressive action for this, then it will damage our reputation." In Shen Ming's view, Nie Li couldn't pose any threat to Sacred family and he also seems to have catch attention of a powerful elder. As a Main Affairs Elder, Shen Ming obviously kept an eye for the happenings in Glory City, especially those concerning Sacred Family. He knew about Nie Li's showcase of superior inscription ability in front of the class, but since he didn't cause them any problem he didn't particularly care.

This is just a small dispute among the Young Generation, Sacred Family cannot appear to be petty, but it doesn't mean he will be spared for this little stunt. The pride of Scared Family cannot be trampled by a worthless slob. "Did you find out what family does Nie Li belongs to?"

"What happened! " Shen Ming asked looking at the cloaked figure who is an expert of Sacred family taking care of the safety duty and protection against infiltration.

The cloaked figure silently passed a scroll to him, "There is trouble! "

Shen Ming began to read the content of the scroll and revealed a nasty look as he growled, "How did you get this?"

"One of the guards stumbled across it in the yard, He was about to throw it thinking that this is garbage but the expensive anemu parchment confused him so he handed it over to me." The Cloaked man answered.

Anemu parchment is an expensive item with price reaching almost 20-30 thousands DSC, it is used to store important information and this is even a materials used in some low ranked inscriptions. It is quite common for a guard to think of it as an important document and hand it to the supervisor.

"Find out who is this person, I need to know everything, Take notice of all the trails! I need results!" Shen Ming roared as he commanded, He tore the scroll apart and burned it. What he got in hands was a parchment explaining about the origin of <<Scarlet Sunburst>> inscription pattern.

This matter if exposed, could affect Sacred family's fundamental interest. Shen Ming couldn't afford for this to happen, not on his watch.

As the cloaked man was about to retreat, Shen Ming said in a cold and low voice, " and yeah, you know what to do with the guard who handed it over to you, right?"

'Who is this person? What does he wants? For him to deliver this must mean he wants to blackmail us.....Just you wait, I will rip you to pieces and make sure you know what is the price for offending us is! ' Shen Ming thought as he paced back and forth inside the Hall, although he has venomous thought about the person he knew that the livelihood of catching the culprit is very low.

While the Sacred family main affairs elder was wrecking his mind over the culprit behind this shenanigans, a lonesome figure was sitting solemnly in the Training grounds of the Holy Orchid Institute seemingly waiting for someone.

This figure was Xiao Ninger, she sat cross-legged in the same spot she first met Nie Li. She was cultivating her soul force as the moonlight illuminated her beautiful and mesmerizing face. She wore a pink dress and looked healthy, very much in contrast of her previous pain she looked more focused and dedicated.

There was some movement in the forest as a totally covered and unidentifiable figure enter the area around Xiao Ninger. The figure came down and cupped his hands behind Ninger.

"Young Miss, I have taken care of the task you have given me!" The masked figure unveiled his face cover and remained bowed.

"Thank you Lue Dong for your hard work" Xiao Ninger stood up as she nodded to the figure. This is Lue dong her attended, who on her commanded took care of a critical job.

Nie Li just today handed her a letter and requested her to dump it, at the sacred family inner grounds without alerting anyone and leaving any clues.

She was perplexed at first but eventually agreed because of the debt she feels towards him, although Nie Li on many occasion claimed that their exchange is based on benefits, she just couldn't help but be in gratitude towards him.

"Miss, Who are we waiting here for? " Lue dong asked confused at the venue of their meeting, he could easily guess she is waiting for someone here.

"We are-"

"Sorry to keep your waiting, Miss Xiao Ninger! "

As Ninger was about to explain, an indifferent and soft voice came from behind the duo. They looked back in realization that someone actually sneaked up on them. The figure wore a black mask and his face was undetectable. Lue Dong immediately went into a defensive stance standing before Ninger guarding her. He is by no means a guard for her being a mere Bronze Rank himself but his reflex took action immediately.

"Lue dong, no need to be so guarded. He is a friend" Xiao Ninger quickly dissolved the issue before it escalated. Although she doesn't know why Nie Li is masked she recognised him immediately.

Nie Li showed no response negative or otherwise, towards his actions and slowly walked towards them nodding in Ninger's direction.

"He is the one! " Nie Li asked in a calm voice masking his emotions, as he looked at Lue dong.

"Yes, He is a trusted aide of mine and he took care of the issue, you told me about" Xiao Ninger replied as she introduced Lue dong.

"It's nice to meet you, you have been a great help to me" Nie Li extended his hands towards Lue dong for a shake.

Lue dong was quite perplexed by his actions but he still showed face to young miss friend and extended his hand for shaking.

Immediately, Nie Li grabbed his incoming wrists holding it tightly and moving it in the lateral direction, he hooked the back of his neck by clutching it with his hands and planted a step up full forced bicycle knee right on his unguarded hypogastric region knocking the wind out of his body. Nie Li then proceeded to immediately thrown him down face first on the ground, Nie Li pressed his knee on his back and swiftly landed a hard punch on the back of his head.

"Nie Li! What are you doing?!!"
