Like an angry beast, I suddenly charged towards the armed men and Hunters. This time I did not want to conceal myself from these people. I wanted to show them my anger. I wanted to show them that they have chased after and offended the wrong people.

"Get him! Kill him now! The high command wanted him dead!" that person wearing a black leather outfit shouted while pointing in my direction.

I could see some semblance of insanity in those eyes. As I approach them, everything around me is in slow motion and I could see the people panicking as they began to point their weapons my way.

Bang! Baratatat!

The rapid gunshot began to once again erupt and the rain of bullets blanketed the suburban area and destroyed the houses behind me.

But as for me, everything is really moving slowly that I could even dodge those bullets. Ever since my 'upgrade', I have already felt that my speed and agility have gone up by a level and that my reflexes and senses seem to have been heightened a lot.

It did not take long before I soon reached the first armed men who are shooting at me. This time, his magazine was emptied and needed to change. But before he could do that, I have already flashed before him and a slit across his throat almost severed his head.

I then turn to my next target and quickly take care of that guy. And then to another and then another, until I have killed around 20 people already.

However, it seems that there are not Hunters amongst the people that I have killed.

Suddenly, I heard a loud clapping sound as I saw a few people appearing as they alighted some of the off-road cars parked on the side.

"I'm guessing that you are the one that has disposed of the those few hunter teams that the Black Serpent sent, right? You are really strong and fast… Bravo! Bravo!" a tall and slender-looking woman with two swords hanging on her hip said while walking ahead of her group.

"My name is Ki Qian or you can call me Ladywhite, the leader of the glorious Black Phantom team of the Black Serpent Gang." She said as she bowed in greetings.

"And these are my men… This is Hill, Charcoal, Panther, Wraith, and I think you have already met… Ghost." She introduces the people behind her.

I just look at them with indifference and then landed my sight on the young man called Ghost.

"Actually, we are just here to escort you back. We don't want any trouble… But… if you resist, then we can only kill you. What do you say?" she said amicably.

The people behind her showed sneers on their faces as I look at each and every one of them. I'm trying to gauge their strength as it seems that these people are very strong. I could tell that their confidence at this time is warranted by their hidden ability.

But of course, I would not care too much. If they stood in my path then there is only one result for them, and that is annihilation.

I carefully grab the two daggers on my back and side and then threw the heavy duffle back that I was holding towards the house where those women are.

The bag hit and broke a window as it landed on the broken bed.

When the women saw the bag, they immediately peek outside. I saw them and nodded towards them.

Suddenly, telepathic communication enters my mind.

'Telepathic communication is connected to the host… The host can now communicate with the source.'

I knew who this person is, it is Ji Jiwon.

"Big Sister Jiwon, open one of the plastic bags and give only a small amount to Big Sister Yunya," I said in my mind.

It took her a few seconds before answering.

'This 'goo' thingy?'

I was a bit confused, by I still replied.

"Yes… Hurry…"

With me not responding, the group seems to become impatient as one of them suddenly walks forward.

'Little Wei, I already gave her… Oh… What is this… She… Her wounds… This is…'

"Okay, that's good. Protect yourselves. I will be very busy at the moment." I said as I showed a faint smile on the man in front of me.

"Hey… This one is just a kid… But he sure hell is strong." The man said as he suddenly takes out two machetes from his back.

He suddenly charges towards me like a bullet. His speed is fine, but it is still too slow for me. I did not even want to make a move and with a quick kick, I sent the burly man flying.

Bam!

The man hit one of the trucks and its side metal bar was dented by his strong body.

"Damn it! This kid is really not normal since he could send Hill flying with just one kick. Not only is he fast, but he is also damn strong too… We have to fight together!" suddenly everybody began to scramble as they take a battle position.

I could tell that this team has been working together for a long time.

Then suddenly, the two people which were called Charcoal and Panther takes out their assault rifles and began shooting in my direction. I could tell that these two are sharpshooters as every bullet they release is very accurate and deadly.

Bratatat!!!

The sound of gunfire is all over the place as two men began shooting at Xin Wei.

However, the figure of the person they are shooting is like a shadow that would move and then disappear as he suddenly drew closer to the group.

He suddenly appears in front of Wraith who is holding a short wakizashi Japanese sword. His form is one that would attack in a quick draw manner.

And as soon as the figure of Xin Wei appears in front of him, the sword on his hip suddenly moved and then he sheathes his sword in a lightning-fast manner.

The image in front of him was cut in half.

Everyone showed smiles on their faces.

"Haha… What a foolish boy. He should have surrendered… He might be able to dodge bullets but the sword of Wraith is faster than a bullet…" Charcoal said as he cheered.

But then his voice and expression turned ugly when he suddenly saw the neck of Wraith turned slightly crooked and then it slide to the left before his head fell to the ground.

A fountain of blood erupted from Wraith's decapitated neck as his lifeless body fell to the ground.

Everyone is now looking at this scene with disbelief. How could they believe that someone as fast with the sword as Wraith would be killed in just one exchange? Even their master could not even defeat Wraith that easily. How could they believe that a young boy could do such a thing?

This time, everyone is already enveloped in fear. They knew that their opponent is not that simple anymore. They should not have underestimated that guy in the first place. They should have given it their all when they first encountered him and should not have given him a chance to take them one by one.

If they still have the support of their fallen comrades, then they might be able to defeat their enemy without a hitch, but now it's too late.

"Where is he?" shouted Hill as he jumps down from the truck.

Everyone began looking around as they did not know where their opponent is. This made them feel a bit of pressure. A visible opponent is easy to defend, but someone who is hidden is another story.

The tall and slender woman suddenly shouted.

"Form up on me!"

With that command, everyone did not hesitate and quickly gather around the Ladywhite. Then suddenly, a thin film of energy was projected from her body. It's some kind of invisible protection that could protect her teammates from bullets or any projectiles.

While everyone is on their toes looking around them trying to find their enemy, Xin Wei has already reached the place where those ladies are hiding.

As I enter the room stealthily, I immediately saw a lot of blood on the ground.

"Guys…" I said in a low voice while signaling them to hush.

"Leave this building through the back… Where… where is Aunt Xiao Rin?" I asked.

The four of them then look at the side. That is when I noticed Auntie Xiao Rin holding both of her knees while sobbing.

"It's all my fault… It's all my fault…" she slowly mutters to herself while her body is slightly trembling.

I could see that her clothes are in tatter and some parts of her white skin are exposed which made me frown a bit.

When I saw this, I knew that she is being eaten with anxiety along with guilt as to what has occurred here.

When I look at Zhang Wanwan, she seems to know what I wanted to ask when she slowly explained what happened.
