Three men are currently walking towards the ruined building carrying handguns. When they reached the ruined wall where they saw the woman enters, they slowly and sneakily enter.

These three men were just normally patrolling the area when they saw the woman enter this building. They saw that she is not like those other women they have seen before, and she looks clean. Especially when she suddenly lifted the cloak she is wearing and reveals that milky skin hidden underneath it.

The fiery evil of their thought was immediately ignited.

In this law-deprived land, most people have nothing to do, so they would always think of many perverted things as their time are always idle.

As they enter the ruined building, excitement could be seen in their eyes while slowly moving inwards.

However, who would have known that these men are actually entering the mouth of a beast waiting to devour them whole.

Xin Wei who is hiding in the shadow immediately takes down the three people easily without any suspense.

Inside one of the rooms in the ruined building, Xin Wei is sitting in front of one of the men whom he tied securely on a chair.

"Are you members of the Blue serpent gang?" I asked while holding a combat knife in my hand.

The man in front of me is showing fear in his eyes, when he wanted to shout, I suddenly gestured my hand to stop him.

"Don't bother shouting; this room is an isolated room… Soundproof… See…" I pointed at the walls.

The man's expression turned into panic as he felt helplessness in his heart.

"Answer me, are you members of the Blue Serpent Gang?"

The man nodded his head vigorously due to fear.

"Then you know who your leader is, right?"

The man immediately nodded his head. Then even without me asking a question he suddenly spilled out some names which I easily remembered.

"Feng the Viper, Andy the Maniac, and Fian the Venom Queen… those are the heads of the Blue Serpent Gang."

The man did not have time to react when I slit his throat and left the room.

I did the same thing to the other two after making sure of those names. And it seems that the first one did not lie to me. I then walk to the 2nd floor and met with the woman.

She has a weird innate power of creating hallucinations to those she could touch while her eyes are closed. So she is a bit of an interesting woman for me.

"So how was it? They did enter? Where are they?" she suddenly asked when she saw me entering the room.

"Shh… I already took care of them…" I said as I sat down on the side of the wooden bed frame.

"You said that you wanted to get out of here, right. However, I'm not your errand boy, and I don't know if you are of any use to me, or not."

Upon hearing my words, she seems to think deeply as she took a step closer.

"I can affect the minds of those people I touch. Even now, I can affect the mind of 5 people all at once. Though the effect of my power would only last for an hour. I can shorten it though, but my maximum is an hour."

She slowly extended her hand towards me. I just look at her and smirked.

"Your powers have no effect on me… Anyway, with just only this, you would be a burden. It is better if you just stay here and I will act on my own." I said then stood up.

"Wait… wait… I… I have another ability... But this is in correlation with my first ability."

I squinted my eyes upon hearing that. It seems that this woman is not that simple.

"Explain…"

"I… I can actually remember some of the things that the people did in the past one hour before I made contact with them. It's… it's not mind reading, but it's seeing the actual past." She explained.

Upon hearing her explanation, my eyes glowed in understanding. I did not know if this woman is heaven-sent, but I think she is the right person for me to spy on my enemies.

"It seems that you are not too bad yourself. Alright, I agree to take you with me, but you need to work for me… However, your ability is far too lacking at this moment. You have to train harder." I said with a smile.

The two of us left this settlement of the Blue Serpent Gang and directly went to their base according to the map that I got from the mercenary camp I looted before.

We soon arrive in a part of the city where there are a couple of well-lit buildings with many armed men patrolling its perimeter.

"This is the location of their base. You should hide in this place. No lights, no sound, okay?"

The Xiao Rin nodded after my words. She did not know what is going to happen next, but she seems to fully trust this young man. She did not know why, but she seems to recall her son who was gentle and kind to her before she sacrificed herself for them.

That memory of her son was the only thing that held her from hating him. For her husband, she did not care anymore.

As the young man left she stayed in the room quietly while holding the telescope that the young man left for her. She only uses that small crevice on the wall to peek outside. She dare not poke her head on the window for fear of being discovered.

And so, she watches that the young man swiftly traverses the buildings and like an agile monkey he easily scales the buildings and soon arrives in the perimeter.

Her heart is a bit nervous upon seeing the young man approach the tall walls with many armed men around them.

She did not know if that young man would successfully infiltrate that place. She knew that he have some grudge with the Blue Serpent Gang as in the few seconds that she used her powers on him and was overwhelmed; she remembers some parts of what he did before.

He is here on a mission to destroy the gangs and the syndicate that is controlling this city. She knew that it would be very hard, but she could tell that he might even be successful.

While watching that silhouette from afar, she suddenly noticed that he seem to be melting in the shadow as he suddenly disappears.

It was a total shock for her.

She then stops watching and suddenly feels that she has been hungry for a while and due to walking to this place, her energy was spent and she wanted to take a small nap inside this room. It did not take for Xiao Rin to fall asleep.

Meanwhile, just outside of this building a small group of 5 patrolling men are currently looking around. They are receiving some instructions from their earpiece as they located the exact building where Xiao Rin is sleeping.

The men nodded their heads and immediately enter the room.

Armed with a rifle, a handgun, and some knives, the looks from these men could tell one that they are not just any mercenary. Their equipment is brand new and it seems that they are here for a purpose.

As the 5 men enter the room, on the 5th floor, Xiao Rin is unaware of the danger she is about to be in. Her consciousness right now is in the dream world. She is dreaming of a warm bath which he had not experienced for a while now. Then nice food and a relaxing life, which she truly missed.

The 5 men are slowly approaching the 5th floor as they coordinated with the one giving instruction in their earpiece.

Meanwhile, inside the control center of the Blue Serpent Gang base, a few people are looking at the many monitors in front of them.

"This woman is clean… I want to have her." a tall and burly man said while looking at the sleeping Xiao Rin on the monitor.

"Haha… Andy, you're still a lecher as always. That's why people named you the maniac." The slender woman said while giving a seductive smile.

The burly man sneered at her and did not reply. Though Andy is strong, he is not the match of the woman. Who would dare fight with her when her body alone is already a weapon?

"Andy, this woman should be given to the boss. We are already low on our quota. I think this woman is not as young as she looks. But this is enough to pass our boss' taste." A man with a long scar on his face said while looking at the monitor.

But his eyes have a hint of desire on them.

"So you are still alive, my baby doll… Hehe… It's been a long time." he muttered in a low voice as he showed a hidden sinister smile.
