A few months ago, before the great changes have happened in this world, a young woman with a promising career lived happily in her own flat in city A.

She has started her career and soon becomes one of the promising and rising actresses in the entertainment industry. Everything was doing great, but then disaster struck. She suddenly discovers herself having some kind of weird ability to somewhat affect other people's mind.

Though it was very useful, it was a bit taxing for her. It has really affected her health and her mental state. And as time goes by, she now realized that her health has deteriorated to such a degree that the doctors found a tumor in her brain.

She was devastated and was helpless.

She tried to turn to a specialist but was instead treated like a lab rat. Luckily she escaped that place using her ability, but it became worse.

The headaches did not stop, and the pain in her eyes and her body makes her want to die.

Then she learned of the situation in city H where many are saying that it was a place for the super-powered being to discover their destiny.

But at this time, depression has already affected her mental state. And in that short period of time, she already has the desire to die.

In her travel to city H, she encountered many who tried to do something to her. And that was the first time that she has taken someone else's life.

Killing someone is a bit taxing to her conscience but it seems to make her feel empowered giving rise to the desire to eliminate those who offend her.

And so she continued to travel and met a young man. He seems to only be a high school student. However, he has seen her face. She did not want trouble to follow her, so she wanted to silence him.

But who would have known that this young man is not ordinary? He is one of the super-powered humans just like her.

But instead of dealing with her because she tried to kill him, he instead heals her condition. But he left her inside the cave while she was recuperating.

Since she is unable to go out of city H anymore and the forest is full of deadly beasts, she decided to follow the tracks of the young man to the city.

Upon entering the city, she encountered many thugs and hooligans who were attracted to her figure and beauty. Jin Jiwon decided to cover it up with dirt and wear thick but tattered clothing.

She was able to somewhat survive but was soon depressed after a few days due to lack of food and rest.

Then suddenly, she noticed a strange sensation coming from a particular location. When stealthily enters that place and wanted to know what that sensation is as it truly attracted her, she found herself in a room which is very clean and well maintained.

When she wanted to go out, she heard footsteps and directly hid her figure.

She wanted to control the woman who suddenly enters the room, but was suddenly stopped. And there she saw the same young man who helped but left her in the cave.

This woman is really beautiful; she even became prettier since her health seems to have improved a little bit due to the nourishment of the Qi in the air. And closely looking at her face, I recognized her. When I was in school there is this popular rising star from a television drama.

Her name is Ji Won.

And the woman sitting in front of me has the same face as the one on TV.

"Why have you not left this city?" I asked.

"I… I can't… the beasts in that forest are too terrifying. The cave is near the city, so I have no choice but to enter the city than go through that forest." She said while not lifting her head.

"So what are your plans…"

"I… I don't know. I'm scared to go out there. Everything is in chaos in this place." She said.

Then she slowly lifted her head and then with a look of pleading in her eyes she said.

"Can you… can you take me with you? I promise… I promise that I won't do that again…"

"Do you know why I enter this city?" I asked with a serious expression.

"I… I don't know."

"I am going to kill some people. I want to avenge my parent's death. It is a suicide mission…" I said while looking straight into her eyes.

I could not help but admire her as she truly looks beautiful even without makeup.

Jin Jiwon frowns as she did not expect that the young man would say such a thing. She just thought that he is here to go back home. But who would have known that he is here to avenge someone?

However, Jin Jiwon has already seen blood, and her hands are also not clean. So, though a bit reluctant, she still decided to follow him. She has a plan to do this until she is able to make sure of her safety.

This is because right now, the safest place in this city is beside this young man.

The five of them had lunch that afternoon and rested for a while.

Jin Jiwon realized that the three women are following the young man and are being taught by him. They seem to be learning some fighting style and meditating.

But every time they do this she could feel that strange and yet attractive feeling in the air. She could help but close her eyes and savor that feeling.

3 days have passed since then…

And this evening, Zhang Wanwan has decided to try and form her own dantian. She could not hold everyone up and did not want to be a burden to them.

Assisting her behind is Xi Wei while Zhang Wanwan and Bai Yunya stood on guard through the perimeter of the building.

Meanwhile, Jin Jiwon stayed in the room as she wanted to see this so-called dantian forming.

These past 3 days, she has already learned what they are doing and is very interested in it. And through Shin Jiao's guidance, her mental powers have improved as she learned how to control the Qi in the air to assist in strengthening her ability.

So she decided to watch on the side to learn more.

Sitting in a lotus position, Zhang Wanwan began absorbing a large amount of Qi in the air as it slowly created a small whirlpool as the wind everywhere around them created a small dust cloud on the rooftop.

"Arghh…" Zhang Wanwan whimpered as she suddenly feels a slight pain in her lower stomach.

Feeling a large amount of mana, Jin Jiwon subconsciously activated her mental power while she closes her eyes.

Then suddenly she saw strange colored lights which then slowly turn into colored lines in the air as they flow towards Zhang Wanwan's body.

"She is absorbing more red color… it seems to be burning her stomach…" Jin Jiwon muttered.

But her words did not escape Xin Wie's hearing as he suddenly frowns.

"There is an imbalance in her absorption… This could be bad for her, right?" she muttered as if asking herself some question.

"Zhang Wanwan… try to regulate your absorption of Qi. Absorb a little amount of every particle you feel or see…" Xin Wei said in a low voice.

Zhang Wanwan who is in pain nodded her head and followed his instructions.

Xin Wei looks at Jin Jiwon and saw her expression turning into a smile. As if she discovered something fascinating.

"This woman can clearly see the flow of Qi in the air." I thought as I could tell that when she closes her eyes, she could see it.

For me, I could tell the Qi and its color through feelings. And my mind would create a subconscious picture of it, but it is not that clear.

It seems that this woman's mental power is somewhat useful in this kind of experience.

I continuously watch the expression of Jin Jiwon to know if something wrong is happening or if everything is fine.

After 30 minutes, the Qi in the rooftop slowly subsided.

Then I could tell that Zhang Wanwan has successfully formed her dantian as a beautiful smile appears on her beautiful face.

I patted her shoulder and turn to Jin Jiwon who suddenly saw me looking at her.

"Thank you… You've helped a lot." I said with a smile.

Jin Jiwon seems to be feeling a bit shy as she blushed.

"I… I did not do that much…"

"You have actually helped me a lot in guiding Zhang Wanwan. It seems that you can clearly see the Qi particles in the air. How many colors can you see?" I asked in curiosity.
