I slept like an infant again, this white bed is soft and comfortable, whenever I lay on it without noticing I drift to sleep...

I opened the window beside my bed, a cold wind slammed on my face, it wasn't like the last time when I was in the forest. The wind in the city was different than the forest, maybe there is something in the air that I wasn't able to predict...

I thought to myself, She said I am a caveman because I don't know what is modern era and science.

why should I knew about these things .. science does not exist in Underworld nor this pathetic Time always making me worry about light.

But, fortunately, she elucidated to me about some minor things like lift, oven, lighting bulb, TV, AC, and other useless stuff

There are lots of things that I don't know about humans like their work. why they need journalists.. to know things happening around them ... why don't they just mind Their own business.

" Finally, you are awake " Scarlett lets out from the kitchen with a big smile

I approached her in the kitchen " I am hungry "

she turns back but didn't say a word for a few moments and again started cooking

I decided to head to the eating table and sat on the chair.

I don't think there is any need to chew this soft sticky food, if it were meat then it's necessary to eat slowly however I obeyed her.

" All of the heroes test their abilities after every three months to see how strong they became in these past months and hero association raise their ranks if hero managed to become powerful ... the high rank means lots of money plus respect and fame "

"There are 7 Ranks, Top to bottoms like A, B, C, D, E, F, and S ... the power of heros depends on these ranks like F is a weakest and S is the strongest in all of them "

" and which rank Gabriel have? " I asked curiously because I don't have powers currently but my sixth sense was telling me he is really strong.

" D-rank, rarely someone like Rank D volunteers to protect us in the forest " she gets up and went into her room

I thought Gabriel is a powerful guy but still, he is Rank D that means there are lots of humans who are powerful enough to crush me like an ant and that thought started making me worried ..how can these humans have powers, what happened to these mortals how can they managed to possess powers like Gods ...

Scarlett came back with her laptop
