Chapter 17 - Limitations and Bunker upgrade requirements achieved and completion.

Today, me and Sans are at the Training area, Specifically the sparring area.

"You sure about this kid?" Sans asked.

"Yeah, I want to try out something," I answered, I wanted to try out All Fiction on Sans' Gaster Blaster Laser Beam.

"Okay kid, don't blame me if you get hurt," Sans shrugged and raised his left hand, summoning a gaster blaster which opened its mouth as it charges a laser beam.

"I'LL BLAME YOU IF HE GETS HURT SMILEY TRASHBAG," Chara shouted from the bench area.

"Here it goes kid, get ready," as Sans said that, the laser beam from the gaster blaster fired straight at me.

"... All Fiction..." I said as the laser beam hit me.

Sans was shocked and asked, "How did you do that kid?"

"Heh... That was my new ski- ARGHHHHHH!!!" My head suddenly experienced a sudden extreme headache, I almost fainted from the extreme pain it did. After it subsided, I experienced extreme fatigue.

"HEY KID! ARE YOU OKAY?!" Sans rushed over to me, trying to check my condition.

"Yeah... I don't know what happened... Can you send me back to my room?" I asked Sans as I grabbed his shoulder.

Scáthach saw me yelling out in pain and also arrived shortly before me with a worried look.

"What happened dear?" Scáthach asked.

"I don't know... I just used my new skill and suddenly, I experience an extremely painful headache," I answered Scáthach.

"Alright... I'll send you back to your room then," Scáthach said as he supported me on my shoulder and slowly sent me back to my room, leaving only Chara who was trying to stab Sans through his indestructible barrier.

"WHAT DID YOU DO TO HIM COMEDIAN?!" Chara yelled at Sans.

"I didn't do anything kid," Sans said, he was undoubtedly worried though, its just not obvious through his constant toothy grin.

"You better be telling the truth Comedian," Chara said before going back to the first floor.

"Hah... Is that kid okay?" Sans shook his head in worry.

Now I'm at my room, Scáthach told me to rest because I looked extremely fatigued.

"System, what happened to me when I used All Fiction?"

[ Host has overexerted your mind, using All Fiction requires mental endurance, the more advanced and complicated your usage is, the stronger your mind has to be. As of now, you could only use All Fiction 2 times a day for basic usage without drawbacks. ]

"So negating the damage from the Gaster blaster laser beam is advanced?"

[ Affirmative, negating the damage for something that could have taken an arm and a leg is too much for your mental endurance, something like that could only be used once a day with a simple extreme headache as a drawback. ]

"How do I increase my mental endurance exactly?"

[ By over exerting your mental endurance, causing it to strengthen. ]

"Are you kidding me?! You're telling me to experience an extreme headache just to increase my mental endurance?!"

[ No pain, No gain host. ]

(A/N: People might hate me for putting such a dumb limitation for All Fiction and might drop this fanfic, and others might assume that it will take a long time before he his OP, you guys don't have to worry about the latter as I plan to timeskip to like a year or two since nothing drastic will happen to the world in just a few months other than humans getting stronger and monsters evolving. By then the MC would be OP.)

(A/N: It isn't fun if the MC would be entirely impossible to beat with All Fiction. So I had to put it here just to have more fun. I know that you guys know that the MC would practically be impossible to beat at this point without limitations so I hope you can understand my reason for putting a limitation on the skill, All Fiction won't be the only OP skill he'll get after all so I'm sure you guys would still be satisfied by the other skills i'll give the MC even with the limitation on All Fiction. All Fiction just makes the MC impossible to kill because he can make his death just an "Imagination" to the killer, than the other future OP skills.)

"At least this is better than someone training their body endurance by letting people hit them, compared to that, this is quite a small price to pay,"

"So did my mental endurance improve from that overexertion?"

[ It did but not enough for you to try again and use it twice without any drastic drawbacks. ]

"Hah.... Times like these, I miss taking care of plants just to calm myself down..."

[ Host has already achieved the upgrading requirement for the bunker. ]

"How?"

[ The Amount of Adamantium in the System Inventory was enough to be substituted for other requirements, thus enabling you to perform a bunker upgrade. ]

"Really? Upgrade it then!"

[ Initiating bunker upgrade... ]

[ Bunker upgrade time till completion: 1 Week ]

"It's really getting longer every upgrade huh?"

[ Does the host want to choose the theme in advance? ]

"Oh I can? I'll choose the theme in advance then."

[ Here are the new themes available: ]

- Surface Garage Area

- Environmental Area/ Nature Area

(A/N: An entire fucking forest with small animals, fight me.)

(A/N: The agriculture area is not the environmental/nature area as you can only grow crops in there. Nature area/Environmental area is more beneficial that the agriculture area as floras from all ranks have a chance to grow in there as part of the cycle of nature and life.)

(A/N: Don't worry about where the fuck the floras will come from, that's irrelevant.)

"Oh? Nature? What does this do?"

[ It is as what it says host, If you choose the Nature area, the whole floor will be constructed as like the old earth without pollution. Basically the whole beauty of nature, forest, rivers, animals, anything that is related to nature will be born there. The animals also won't hurt those in the bunker so you don't have to worry host. ]

"I see... I choose the Nature area then!"

[ Very well. ]

[ Establishing the 3rd floor as the Nature Paradise... ]

[ Done! ]

"I've never been to a forest in my whole life, I wonder how it looks like in front."

(A/N: That dialogue was for me as I've actually never been to a forest before, whether you believe it or not.)

"I guess i'll resume sparring with Sans tomorrow, and resume my training with Scáthach after that. I could also use Sans as a Sparring partner because his gaster blasters could help me train my mental endurance..."

"Who the fuck even made mental endurance a thing? I don't remember All Fiction needing a strong mind to use in Medaka box..."

And so I sparred with Sans after yesterday, he kept declining my request to spar because I should rest... So I threatened to destroy the hotdog generator, to which he reacted with teleporting me to the sparring field right after threatening to destroy the hotdog generator and send gaster blasters at me.

Note to self, don't threaten Sans with the hotdog generator... Fortunately, after I blocked the laser beam of the first gaster blaster, the headache kicked in again, it also made him stop.

I told them that it's part of training my skill, which was partly true, I do need to train it, except I need to train my mental endurance instead of my skill directly.

I also continued my training with Scáthach...

That cycle continued on for 1 week... The day of the bunker upgrade completion has arrived...

My mental endurance finally enabled me to use All Fiction 2 times on advanced actions with the same extreme headache in a week of consecutive laser beam block from Sans' gaster blasters, It wasn't much but it's honest work. I didn't improve much on the physical department though, I mean... It's only a week.

[ Bunker upgrade is now completed. ]

Right after the System notification, the bunker shook once again, but it was much stronger this time around.

It caused Sans to wake up and go out of his room, Chara falling down from the kitchen chair. Me and Scáthach weren't affected though, we were just sitting together in the living room couch.

"You guys want to check out the new floor?" I asked them.

Scáthach nodded with a smile, Chara said, "Okay." and Sans was already walking down the staircase to the 3rd floor.

"Huh... This is actually really beautiful... Not as much as Genocide though," Chara said as she looked around the forest with birds flying, butterflies on some flowers, rabbits drinking on the forest river. It was truly a majestic sight.

"Heh... This place is really relaxing, It makes me want to make this place my bedroom instead," Sans said.

"Although the animals won't hurt us, they'll get curious with your hotdog generator and might destroy it in the process you know?" I told Sans in response to what he said.

"I changed my mind," Sans said after hearing me.

I was really breathtaken by the scene that the 3rd floor has, so this is what forest's look like huh?

The others went back to the first floor while I stayed back here to enjoy the view and appreciate a moment of peacefulness.

But then a thought came to my mind...

"What if i give Sans a lot of bone strengthening pills from those wuxia novels? Would it help him? He's a skeleton after all...."
