"Long live the King, long live the Queen!" echoed through the crowd as people knelt down in an orderly fashion.

Duke Changning, his family, and the housekeeper all joined in kneeling.

Lu Jiming raised his gaze as the grand procession passed by.

In the distance, he caught sight of the King, adorned in a resplendent dragon robe, accompanied by a finely dressed new Queen, whose face remained partially obscured.
