Marrying Me

Lord Ling paused and stayed silent. He sized up Gu Ruxue from head to foot.

He would have got very annoyed if it was a greedy proposal raised by some other women, but she was the Phoenix Girl, who could help him to dominate the world in the future, so he was showing extra patience and good temper in front of her. He even thought that her proposal was totally reasonable.

He patted Gu Ruxue's hands. "I left yesterday to deal with this matter."

"Ruxue, you are my favorite girl, so I won't make you feel helpless. I thought about it for a long while and discussed it with the ambassador at the mansion. So I have made up my mind to marry you as the Equal Princess Consort," Lord Ling said with a smile.
