Chen Lili & Luo Yixuan (11)

"Okay. We're done for today. That was the last person for the day."

Chen Lili reported to Luo Yixuan while tidied up the files.

"Okay. Thank you for today's work."

The soldiers today he talked and consulted to, some were quite serious.

Some of them have fear of their comrade's death such as having nightmare about them questioning why they should die and so on.

Some were dispirited and lack of motivation. They looked like they have given up their life and moved on with lifeless eyes and soul.

Some were quite normal but only a slight disturbance on their mind due to their comrade's death. However, their will was stronger than others.

Luo Yixuan looked at the last file and closed after finished.

"Since we're done, let's grab dinner together."

Chen Lili smiled to him brightly while anticipation his answer.

"Sure."

Luo Yixuan looked at her bright smile where he saw her two baby tiger tooth. Her smile was quite contagious.

Luo Yixuan realized he's been staring at her smile. He then quickly turned his head to the other side where Chen Lili couldn't see.

His ears automatically became red because of shyness.

Chen Lili saw that his ears were red and assumed he's sick. She then put his hand on her forehead.

Luo Yixuan was surprised by her movement. He sat still and didn't move.

"Hm... There's no fever but your face are quite red. Are you feeling okay?"

Perhaps because of her doctor's instinct, she immediately assumed he might not be well.

Was he too tired after the ten sessions? Was he working too hard? Should she lower the number of patients for tomorrow?

Luo Yixuan gently pushed her hand away.

"Ahem..... I'm not sick. I'm just a bit hot that's all."

"Oh, I see. Well, then. Let's go get dinner, Yixuan. We could go to the second floor. There are rooms with air conditioner."

"Okay."

Luo Yixuan successfully avoided Chen Lili for questioning further of his red ears.

After tidying up, they went together to the canteen. They ordered their food and went to the second floor and chose an empty room to dine in.

After eating, Chen Lili was full. She burped a little as she looked satisfied.

Luo Yixuan looked at her with surprise.

Normally, girls would avoid burping out loud to prevent embarrassment. Chen Lili was different from other girls.

She was quite carefree and just do whatever she wants. She's just being herself.

Being oneself was the hardest when you're with other people. Humans constantly acting to other people no matter the occasions and situations.

Chen Lili was no exception. Even though she was being herself, some part of her still pretend and act due to different situations.

But, in front of him, he was surprised that she didn't bother to excuse herself for burping.

Maybe she felt comfortable with him?

Chen Lili saw Luo Yixuan had a surprise flashed in his eyes while looking at her. She didn't know what she did that he had to look at her in surprise.

"What? Is there something on my face?"

"No. I just think that you have a nice personality."

Just a few words, it successfully made Chen Lili blushed a little.

Her prince charming was complimenting her. He said she had a nice personality.
