Lesson Learnt?

For the whole day, Lu Jingyi stayed at home played with Kimchi, watching her favorite shows and have some snacks.

It's been a while that she can relax like that. She's quite comfortable.

She took a nap in the afternoon with Kimchi by her side in the room. All these relax made her felt sleepy.

Mo Zhexuan came out of his study room and checked upon Lu Jingyi. He found her taking a nap in the room with Kimchi.

Kimchi opened his eyes because he knew someone entered the room and he knew who it was. It was his master.

Lu Jingyi was sleeping soundly and Mo Zhexuan walked closer to her. He looked at her for a while before giving her a kiss on the forehead.

He then lifted Kimchi and put him down. Kimchi was upset because he wanted to sleep beside Lu Jingyi.

Mo Zhexuan didn't care the about him and proceeded went inside the duvet and hugged Lu Jingyi to sleep.

Kimchi was speechless and there's nothing he can do. He then switch side and slept on the floor beside the bed where Lu Jingyi was.

What a peaceful day.

See Weiling had been locked for two days and she's getting irritated. Her man was about to get married in these few weeks and she needed to get out as soon as possible.

She had plans to woo her perfect man but was ruined by her parents by locking her up. It was a disaster.

She bit her nails and feeling frustrated. She's been thinking about how to escape or convince her parents that she had learnt her lesson.

Two days later, See Weiling came out of her room and went to find her parents in the morning.

Mr See and Mrs See was having breakfast. For the past four days, See Weiling didn't went down to have breakfast with them. They didn't know she will have breakfast with them today.

Thus, there's no breakfast for her in the dining table.

See Weiling walked towards her parents and bowed to them. They are surprised by their daughter's sudden bowing.

"What's wrong, Weiling?"

Mrs See was worried about her while Mr See looked at her and said nothing.

"Dad, Mom. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have become a third wheel destroying someone's relationship. I was wrong. Although I was in love with Mo Zhexuan, I will not tried to pursue him again. I will give up on him since he's about to get married. I will give my blessings to him and his fiancée. Please forgive me, Dad, Mom."

Mrs See was relieved and she hugged See Weiling and patted her back.

"It's good that you know you're wrong. Don't worry. There's plenty of good man out there for you. Just the fact that you know what's wrong and repented on it is enough."

Mr See observed his daughter's reaction and found that she's really learnt her lesson. His heart soften and forgave her.

"Good. You've done well. You will not be grounded anymore. You can start work tomorrow."

"Dad, can I have the rest of the grounded days to be rest days. I will go back to work after that. Please~ I don't want to go to work so soon."

Mr See laughed at his daughter's coquettish remark.

"Okay. I permit it."

"Thanks, Dad."

See Weiling hugged Mr See and kissed his cheek. She then ran upstairs and smiled wickedly.

It was so easy to trick her parents into believing her she's changed. As expected, her parents loved her so much. How can they bear to see her suffered?

All that's left was that she had to settle her own happiness. Her man was waiting for her to snatch him away.
