CHAPTER 4: "TELLING AMIE THE TRUTH"

AMIE'S POV

'Seriously why am I nervous ?! And why does my heartbeat seem to be speeding up ?! He just held my hand. Then I broke up with him. What is happening to me ?! I feel like I want him back. (sigh) maybe I was just excited about what he would say. (sigh) But why is that? Why do I still seem to admire him? GOSH! Amie, wake up! You were the one who broke up with him so you should just stick with your Decision okay ?! OMG! Why do I feel so hot all of a sudden?! This timing is rude! '

JOHN'S POV

'I wonder why Amie's hand is so hot ?! And why.. Why is she blushing ?! Seriously John, fix what you're thinking. (sigh).. it doesn't matter as long as the important thing is I can tell her the truth..

"Amie...there is something that you need to know."

"W-w-what is it?"

"I....ahhh...I have some sort of symptom/illness."

"What kind of symptom?"

"Do you still remember the day's that we're together and I always leave you every after 5 Hours?"

"Yes.....That's the reason why I left you. What does that have to do with you're symptom/illness ?"

"Amie.....Amie the reason why I leave you every after 5 hours is because...because my symptom/illness is called the '5 Hours Symptom'. I need to leave you right every after 5 hours for me to take a special medicine. I have extra 30 minutes of course and I think it is a blessing that I still have extra 30 minutes to get ready for taking my medicine or else,if I haven't got this blessing I.....I ahhh...I would've been dead before I met you...."

"Pfftt! HAHAHA.....Sorry I can't stop laughing HAHAHA.....Okay, Okay. So you're saying that you would've been dead by now if you hadn't take that 'special medicine' earlier? HAHAHA....who are you kidding John? HAHAHAHA....."

"Amie I'm SERIOUS! I'M NOT JOKING OKAY?! (sigh) Look, look okay.....I know it's hard to believe but...(sigh)Amie IT'S THE TRUTH!"

'Why is Amie laughing so hard ?! I'm telling the truth! '

3rd Person's POV

As Amie laughed, John was startled and he looked like he was being bullied. Later, John started crying and hugged Amie. Amie was surprised why John hugged her while crying but she pushed it away and just ran away but while she was running John said something to her and she cried.

"I DON'T WANT TO LOSE YOU!"

(Amie stopped)

"AMIE PLEASE....I DON'T WANT TO LET YOU GO....PLEASE BELIEVE ME!"

"AMIE I STILL LOVE YOU! PLEASE BELIEVE ME AND COME BACK TO ME."

"AMIE PLEASE....."

After John said those things Amie just kept going while crying. Amie got into her car and cried and cried because of what she had heard before. Amie later left while John returned to the Hospital.

"Big brother!"

"Hi Fatima. Are you okay now?"

"Yes brother I'm okay now. But.....What happened to you?"

"John? Have you been crying?"-Mrs. Reyes.

"No mom i'm fine."

"John what happened?"-Mr. Reyes.

"Brother, what happened?"-Fatima

"I talked to Amie....."

"What did you tell her?"-Mrs. Reyes.

"I told her everything....Everything about my illness..."

(everyone got shock)"What did she say?"-Mrs. Reyes

"What happened Brother?"-Fatima

..."She.....she didn't believe me Mom...(crying)"

Mrs. Reyes hugged John and comforted him as he cried on his mother's shoulder.

"Mom I....I don't want to lose her mom I really love her so much. She's the only girl who taught me what real love is when it comes to relationship."

"It's okay John. If she won't believe you then don't force her. It is up to her weather she will believe you or not after all."

"Okay mom."

While these were taking place, Amie went straight back to Lauren's house to tell her story.

(Amie crying)(Ding dong)

"Coming!"

"Amie?! Why are you here? First Of All, why are you crying?!"

(Amie hugged Lauren) "Lauren I need your help..."(Amie sobbing)

"Okay, okay I will help you but first tell me what happened okay?"

(Amie sobbing)

Amie came in and sat on the sofa. She recounted everything that had happened earlier in the hospital while crying.

"Lauren. John told me something that is hard to believe and I don't know what to do Lauren."

"Okay wait calm down first and tell me the whole story."

"Earlier I came to visit Amie at the hospital and we talked about what we've been doing since I broke up with John and after that I remembered something and asked her about it...about the '5 hours' thing but she kept quiet and changed the topic. Then I went out of her room but by the time I was about to leave the hospital, I saw John and there parents. But by that time something happened to John and I overheard them. John was coughing then Mrs. Reyes asked him if his alright then John asked his mom of what time he took the medicine then asked what time is it then Mrs. Reyes got shocked

because it has been 5 hours sine John took his medicine. The-"

"Whoa...Hold up. What did you say? John took some sort of medicine after 5 hours? Why?"

"Wait listen to me first. Then John kneeled and he saw me but I ran, but he chased me right after he drank his medicine. He told me to listen to him first then he took me to some sort of a.. private place where we can talk like...only the two of us. While I was listening to him, he told me the reason why he always leave me right every 5 hours when we we're still together. Lauren I was shocked by what he said but I just laughed it out."

"Wait,tell me what he said."

"He said that he has a '5 Hours symptoms' or something and he have to take some sort of special medicine or else he would've been dead before we met. But I just laughed but then he hugged me and said that he's telling the truth then he cried but I just pushed him away and ran, while I was running he said something that made me stopped and cry. He said that he still love me and he's begging me to come back to him then I kept running until I get back inside my car. Lauren I don't know weather I should believe him or not."

"Okay........so you're telling me that he could die?"

"Yes Lauren!"

"What?!"

"I know, but I don't know weather I should believe him or not!"

"But, what if what he said is true?! What should we do Amie?!"
