-----------------------------------------------

When he heard that the king made him a knight and he was the youngest knight in the history of Westeros, he was surprised a little, as he was not planning to be a knight this early on. But well, that was to his advantage after all, so why not?

Who would call Jaimy Lannister the youngest knight in the history of Westeros now? He had taken that title from Jaimie, and the thing that he could be proud of with is his title as the king's slayer.

'Well, consider that as the first revenge, you fucken Lannisters. Tywin, I would take your heart out of your body with my own hands, just wait.' thought Edward as intense hate washed through him.

After seeing the king who wanted to appoint him as one of his kingsguard and Edward excusing himself, saying that he would need some time to recuperate and he would not be able to do such a duty. The king didn't want to force the man who saved his life, plus the young man was his cousin's son, and he trusted Steffon, so he allowed him to leave.

After leaving the city, he took the Kingsroad and moved in the direction of Stormsland. It was time to execute his plan of saving Cassana and letting Steffon die.

'This journey cost me a lot. I have lost a commander and another five good men plus another seven who were still poisoned by the assassins and needed time to recover. At least, we killed the shooters, or I would have been disappointed.' Thought Edward while calculating the gains and losses of this event. Although Edward and his men's name would spread all over Westeros, plus Edward's title of the youngest knight in history, the losses were much more than the gains.

At the same time, in the council room, Tywin was sitting in front of the king. The various members of the "Small Council" were standing by the side of the room. The master of whispers stood behind the king, whispering in the king's ears like always. He was informing him about all the events that happened in the past few days.

Tywin came there today to discuss two things with the king. First, he wanted to open up the buried issue and discuss the marriage proposal between his daughter, Cersei, and prince Rhaeger Targaryen again. He saved the king and thought that would help him complete his goal finally.

He thought he had gained enough contributions, and considering his long friendship with Aerys Targaryen, Aerys would at least grant him his request.

Well, Tywin was not naive and thought that he had gained a little of Aerys's trust after saving him. He didn't depend on their friendship, or it would have helped already. What he didn't know was that Aerys not only gained some of his sanity, but he also started to suspect Tywin even more and thought he was the one who orchestrated this play to embarrass him. He even believed that Tywin collaborated with his Rhaeger to take his throne. That was why he prevented Rhaeger from attending this meeting or any meeting in the future, although Rhaegar wasn't in King's Landing in the first place. Tywin's hope of putting the crown on his grandson's head was going to be crushed again by the king, who was not seeing eye to eye with Tywin anymore.

The other thing that Tywin wanted to talk to the king about was Edward. He thought he was too dangerous and wanted to use Aerys to deal with him, but Tywin did not have a solid plan about how he was going to implement this. After all, Edward was the one that saved the king.

The council then started discussing various matters and how the situation had been after dealing with Darklyn House. Every Lord started to present the problem they had faced.

"Your grace, After dealing with House 'Darklyn', the situation had stabilized generally, but we still face a massive shortage of coins after spending a lot in the last war," said Lord Qarlton Chelsted. As the master of coins in Aerys's small council, he had been doing great till that moment with Aerys's thrift of purchasing all that wildfire.

"Your Grace, I suggest increasing the taxes for the next year to get back what we spent on the war," said Lord Symond Staunton, the master of Laws.

The king, hearing his words, sensing humiliation in those words, got angry at once. He was going to order the man to be burned alive. Aeryn did not know why but he seemed to like burning people alive, especially after the last accident. He was about to speak when Hightower, The Lord Commander of the Kingsguard, caught him to it. He was saving the man.

"How dare you say such a thing? As if the king's life was not worth every coin spent," said Hightower while unsheathing his sword.

"Stand down," said Tywin, trying to solve the situation. He had a lot of matters to deal with and didn't have time for such childish behavior.

Aerys was still somewhat afraid of Tywin deep down, so he signaled Hightower to lower his sword. Although he got paranoid about everything, what could Tywin do to him in front of his guards?

"Your grace, we could get a loan from the Iron Bank and pay them back when the financial situation is stable," said Tywin, giving himself some hope after seeing Aerys reaction.

"Fine, Let's end the meeting here. I am tired," said Aerys with madness in his eyes while standing up to leave.

The rest stood up, bowed their heads then left the room except Tywin, who caught up to the king before he left the room. He had a lot to discuss with Aerys. How could he allow him to leave just like that?

"What?" said Aerys while taking a step back. He suspected that Tywin wanted to kill him.

"Your Grace, I wanted to hear your opinion about The marriage proposal between prince Rheagar and my daughter," said Tywin with a sinister look in his eyes. He had suggested that proposal many times now, but Aerys always refused it. He wanted his grandson as a king to take care of House Lannister.

Aerys's suspicions and paranoia reached the top after hearing Tywin's words. He started to think that his son, Rheagar, was a partner in Tywin's plot to get rid of him and take the throne.

"No, The prince won't marry a servant's daughter," said Aerys and left the room with insanity taking over him.
