Rise

Akasan jolted awake in a cold sweat. "AHHH!!!" He frantically looked around him. "No!! I fell asleep!! Where am I?!! Where am I?! What happened?!"

Akasan woke up in what looked like a traditional japanese-style house. It was bright, and daytime light shone through the walls.

He jumped up off the floor. "What the hell…?! How could I be so stupid?!!" He ran up to the door and slid it open to see Miyagi sitting down on the floor smoking out of a pipe. "You're loud."

Akasan got into a fighting stance. "Who are you?! Where am I?! What's going on here?!"

Miyagi frowned. "Too many questions." She gave him an annoyed look. "Are you really a prince?"

Akasan frustratingly ruffled his hair. "Ahhh, I don't have time for this!!" He ran to another door and slid it open to go outside, but what he saw stopped him in his tracks.

The house he was in was standing atop a small mountain plateau, and outside of the door was nothing but a bottomless drop into the clouds.
