"Wu Tong, why do you have to behave like this? I know I'm in the wrong. I shouldn't be so foolish as to be blindly filial. I should have given you more respect as my wife."
Li Xing felt that his biggest mistake was to be too filial without thinking for himself. He admitted that he had gone overboard on several occasions. Now that his mother had already passed on, they should've just let the matter go.
"Li Xing, I don't wish to be married to you again. I don't want to go back to you. We can't be together anymore."
After living with Li Xing for so many years, Wu Tong almost forgot how relaxing it was to be single.
She looked at Li Xing's drunk face. She didn't know how to feel.
"Li Xing, we are family. We may no longer be husband and wife, but we'll still be family. We don't have to be married."
Li Xing was distraught and disappointed. He could not describe how he felt, nor could he describe the kind of pain radiating through his heart.
