Shido left the room and floated in the air, looking down at the rest of the battlefield. He saw Hawks over Twice's dead body but chose not to go over.
He hasn't checked Rasiel for details yet, but from Hawks' eyes, tone, and attitude towards Twice, it seemed to Shido that Hawks really like Twice as a friend.
To kill your own friend must be difficult, and to offer half-hearted empathy would be worse than not giving any at all.
Shido's eyes moved around the area, and he immediately summoned Camael once more.
He slashed an incoming ice block in half and stared at the perpetrator. To say that he was surprised was an understatement. Although he wasn't flying too high up in the air, it was still at a height where nobody would care to look up and observe.
What's more, they were in the middle of a battlefield. Where would they get the time or opportunity to look up at the sky?
"Geten?" Shido muttered curiously. He looked at Geten, who was also looking at him.
Both of them stared at each other for a split second before Geten turned his attention back to the ground where the main battle was happening.
Perhaps Geten thought his attacks wouldn't do much good against a kilometer high in the air, but Shido already didn't like this disrespectful guy.
Who attacks without warning? He was just casually flying around, and yet he attacked Shido out of nowhere?
"Hmph! Megiddo." Like some petty kid, Shido transformed his halberd into a cannon and aimed it at the perpetrator.
Waves of flames entered the cannon from its nuzzle, charging up one super attack.
"Screw you." Shido released a powerful energy beam at Geten.
Perhaps he felt the heat, but he instinctively turned his head and saw what seemed to be a second sun.
Geten was shocked and immediately tried to use his quirk to defend against it, but to no avail.
The moment the energy beam touched the ice, it cut through it like a hot knife to butter.
BOOOM!
The impact created a massive shockwave, but none of the heroes were affected as much as the target since they couldn't get close to Geten in the first place.
Shido smiled at his work before landing on a building and frowning. A clone suddenly appeared beside him and reported the situation.
"Original!"
"What's wrong? I can feel a lot of my clones dying."
"Yes! Shigaraki has awakened and is currently causing destruction everywhere."
Shido widened his eyes slightly before asking for more information.
"Only one Shigaraki?"
"Yes, although it seemed as though..."
"As though what?" Shido frowned at his clone's hesitation.
"As though they merged with each other."
However, before Shido could reply, A loud roar came, and the earth shook.
"Earthquake? No." Shido looked at his next opponent, "It's a person..."
The heroes who were on the battlefield were checking Geten's condition after that energy beam, but before they could do so, Mt. Lady immediately became a giant and held back the other giant who was rushing towards them.
Mt. Lady had lost all her cheerfulness and gritted her teeth angrily.
"It goes without saying...but I won't let you through!"
She used all her strength that she could muster and tried to push back Shigaraki's lackey, Gigantomachia. However, after precisely thirty seconds of struggling, a huge ice spike suddenly appeared and pierced through Mt. Lady's calves.
"Argh!!!" Mt. Lady screamed in pain as she lost her center of gravity and, at the same time, lost her strength as well.
"Heh! Since I'm going to, cough, die here already, I, cough, might as well make one last stand to help boss..." Geten's bloody figure could be seen standing on a piece of floating ice, but it was apparent to everyone that he could not last long.
And true to their expectations, after the ice pierced through Mt. Lady's calves, the piece of ice he was floating on also fell to the ground, killing Geten that was on top of it the moment it crashed to the ground.
"I had been waiting, hey Master!! I'm going to see you now!!"
Gigantomachia immediately used that opportunity and tossed Mt. Lady to the air and rushed past her. To him, nothing else mattered more than going back to his master's side.
Shido frowned at that scene. The mess is too huge now.
So what could be the solution to that?
Shido summed his broom and twirled it around, "Simple! If the problem is too huge, just make it smaller and solve it then!"
He pointed to the running giant and yelled, "Haniel!"
Following his yell, Gigantomachia suddenly turned into some comic-like steam as strange onomatopoeic words appeared before disappearing and revealing an average human with severe amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, a disease that affected nerve cells that control voluntary muscle movement.
It basically made the human weaker than others.
Everyone was surprised, but they quickly got over their shock as they made their way to the place where the giant was last seen.
However, the giant had disappeared. The person that remained in its place looked as though it would fall over and die anytime soon. Skeptic, who was on the back of Gigantomachia, also couldn't stay near him anymore. Thus, when he realized that Gigantomachia was a gone cause, he immediately ditched the ride and ran in the opposite direction of the heroes.
Shido noticed it from the air, and without any hesitation, he pulled Skeptic into his shadows, and after a minute, he let out a satisfying burp.
"Ah...that felt good." Shido rubbed his belly as he looked at Gigantomachia being surrounded by heroes.
"Michael. Segva."
Shido summoned his key and sealed Gigantomachia's quirk permanently. He didn't hold back his punches and completely sealed him. He didn't want to make the same mistake he did with Tomura.
Now, even if a 'sealing' quirk or 'unsealing' or 'unlocking' quirk appears, no matter how much he or she tried, they would never be able to unlock Shido's seal on Gigantomachia.
Deciding that his job was done here, he went back to the scene where he saw another black giant fighting against Edgeshot.
"Need any help, Edgeshot?" Shido asked as his broom blocked one of the blows from Re-Destro.
"Thank you."
Shido redirected the punch that was aimed for him to the ground, and using that opportunity, he leaped forward together with Edgeshot and aimed at his weak spot - his eyes.
Although Re-Destro's quirk allowed him to increase his strength and speed, it doesn't increase his defense at all, which meant that his eyes were still a vulnerable spot for attacks.
Shido pierced through his right eye using his broom, while Edgeshot did the same with his other eye. It wasn't a hard thing to do as Re-Destro's body was huge.
"Arghh!!!"
His hands instinctively covered his now destroyed eyes as he screamed in pain. However, instead of becoming weaker, Shido could see Re-Destro's body becoming larger and more powerful.
"ARGGGGHHH!! THE STRESSSSSS!!"
Re-Destro yelled in frustration as he randomly swung his arms around, destroying the already cracked ground even further.
"Oh yeah! Re-Destro works with stress! How could I forgot that...?"
Shido muttered as both he and Edgeshot retreated to a safe distance quietly.
"What now?" Edgeshot asked.
"Here's the plan. I will make Re-Destro stress fly away, and you move in to subdue him with your super move." Shido babbled and handed him a pair of earplugs, "And wear this too. Otherwise, you'll also be too relaxed."
Edgeshot looked at the earplugs and took them.
"Alright."
"Gabriel!"
A keyboard appeared in front of Shido, and he immediately started playing it.
"Requiem."
Requiem: A relaxing song that has an analgesic effect.
A beautiful sound was heard. The relaxing sound of birds' calls could be heard from the piano. The gentle waves of the sea could be heard from the piano.
Re-Destro immediately stopped his rampage and listened intently to the music.
"No...!!"
Re-Destro knew that he could not listen to this music. Although he never liked stress, it was what powered his quirk. Without stress, he was nothing more than a slightly stronger quirkless person.
Re-Destro tried to resist the music's effects as well. He quickly rushed towards the music source, but to no avail as the music started to surround him from all directions.
Without his vision, he could not tell where the primary source of music was coming from just by relying on his hearing.
Re-Destro went around all 360 degrees without any other choice and tried to smash the sound source.
However, organ pipes after organ pipes rose from the ground one after another, creating a never-ending wave of music.
Though he was continuously generating more stress from the fear of losing, the music's relaxation effects were much more potent, primarily since Shido focused most of the effects on him alone.
Re-Destro's body became smaller and smaller, slowly and unwillingly, as the black markings on his body slowly receded back.
"No..." His screams also gradually softened down until he knelt down on the ground on his two knees, "I lost...in such a way...?"
Edgeshot couldn't hear the music, but seeing Re-Destro kneeling, he knew that it was his turn to do his part. Not wanting to risk anything, he immediately shot out his super move.
"Ninpo: Thousand Sheet pierce."
Initially, this was used to deal with many mobs at once. But once Edgeshot used this on a single target, even All Might would be knocked unconscious. If his equipment managed to pierce through the skin and reach the blood vessels, that was.
Re-Destro fell face-first to the floor, but no one bothered to pick him up.
"Thank you for your help. If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't know how long more I would have lasted." Edgeshot thanked Shido once more before proceeding to deal with the unconscious Re-Destro.
"Shido!" Before he could even respond to Edgeshot, his clone suddenly appeared before him and spoke anxiously.
"What made you so nervous?" Shido asked.
"Eri."
The entire area immediately froze with literal ice before melting away like it never existed in the first place.
He turned towards Edgeshot and spoke, "No problem. Now excuse me, I have more problems to deal with."
Edgeshot only gave a nod, though a little fearfully, before continuing his actions.
As Shido sunk into the shadows to move quickly to the other site where Shigaraki was, he asked his clone, "What happened to her?"
"She..."

'Right now, the usual output that damn nerd could use full cowling at is 45%. To reduce the burden on his body, right at the moment of impact, he pushes it to 55%.
At Endeavor's agency, and even after All Might's, Phantom's, and Nighteye's special training, I find myself falling behind every time Deku increases in strength.
Even with his speed at 45% right now, I can't keep up with him, resulting in that damn nerd requiring himself to slow down for me...'
Katsuki gritted his teeth in anger and frustration.
'Why am I so weak? Just because All Might 'chose' Deku? NO!
I'll prove to all of them! With just one quirk, I'll do what Deku can do. I'll make it all mine and go higher...even higher than the one who was 'chosen'...'
Katsuki grinned ferally and blasted himself forward with his explosions, "I told you, I'm not gonna lose...and I won't be defeated again!!"
However, before they could go any further, a feeling of death rushed towards him.
"I'm turning....into...dust?"
Katsuki looked on with rage in his eyes as a shadow of a red-haired man gloomed over the duo.
An image of death.
The shadow reached out, but he didn't even need to come into contact with Katsuki. The closest body parts to the shadow that Katsuki had were his hands.
And they were the first to immediately turn into dust.
"Gran Torino!!"
Deku's shout woke him up from his shock, but it was just slightly too late.
Both Deku's and his hands were already turning to dust, and it didn't seem like it would stop anytime soon.
'Am I going to die? Even without surpassing that damn nerd!?'
Even Gran Torino looked on with horror, but he didn't dare slow down and flew the both of them far away from the original area.
"Shit! Both of you got decayed by Shigaraki's quirk!"
"What! But he didn't even manage to touch us!!" Deku yelled hysterically as his boots disappeared into ashes into the wind.
Soon, Deku's feet, heel, ankle, calf, shin, and knees all slowly disappeared.
Katsuki's hands weren't faring any better. His fingers, knuckles, palms, wrist, forearm, and elbow all started to decay.
Both boys were screaming in pain, while Gran Torino looked on worriedly.
Just as they started to lose hope, a soft music appeared.
"Music?!"
All three men widened their eyes in surprise at the sound of music in this supposedly evacuated area.
Where was the music from?
They clearly knew that it wasn't from Phantom as he only played the piano.
No.
Was this music played by a...flute?
They weren't music experts, but they roughly knew it was a woodwind instrument.
But what shocked them most was that their arms and feet started to regenerate.
No. More accurately speaking, it started to go back in time.
They were rewinded back to the time where their feet and arms were still attached to their limbs.
