The call he had just received was meant to be a warning from what he could decipher, but then Nikita had already lost too much to care about some narcissist who thought they had everything under control.
The man on the other end of the line had threatened Nikita that things wouldn't end well for him, but what else could Nikita lose? He had already lost his family, the people who meant something to him.
He lost his sanity along the way, and he never even had the time to grieve. Six months later, he was still hoping to find Raisa in his bedroom, messing around with his coat and stethoscope. At this point, Nikita didn't care.
