Alternate Perspective

"Are you sure it's just been four days?" I ask again to confirm what I heard was right.

"Yes of course. Are you alright? Did you hurt your head or what?" he asked confused at my confusion.

"Of course! It's just... even I missed you a lot." I lied to his face, however I'm not sure how much of a lie it was. "You know.. I was wondering... why am I so scarce in this Wall of memories? There is hardly three or four photos of me." I asked him.

"Are you kidding me!? Are you saying what I think you're saying?!" he jumped almost excitedly.

"What?" Again I was back to being confused.

"Come on, you hated being in the frame. Don't you remember how much I had to beg you to even get that much. I wished sometimes you were more photogenic, maybe this is it! You finally want to take more photos!" he got excited as he was a kid who just got a toy he always craved. "I'll get the camera right now!" and he left.

I was pretty sure If he took a picture I won't show up in the camera. He did say I was only gone for four days, so to not complicate the situation further I did the one thing I could actually think of at that moment.

I ran, like crazy, through the walls because thats something no one would ever suspect. I even took the stairs instead of the elevator because I was worried that I would run into someone, and if they see me it was bound to get awkward.

As I got out of the building and approached the car I noticed that only Oliver was present there and Ken was nowhere around.

"Hey! So how was it? Please tell me it was useful?" Oliver asked me.

"Yes and no, it's a long story, even though I was gone for only a while, you would be surprised how much has happened." I sighed "By the way where's Ken?" I asked casually.

"What? Oh right, I'm Ken. Oliver left." He said with frustration.

"Wait What!? Why? Where? And why are you possessing... Darryl."

"Wanna know the whole story?" he snorted.

"Sure?" I told him skepticallly. "What the hell happened while I was gone?" I asked totally confused and curious.

"Well, here it goes...

Oliver and I were sitting here waiting for you to come back. It wasn't that long that after you were gone but itt was a getting boring here as he was resisting talking to me in case any passengers saw him and thought he was weird. Anyways we suddenly saw you entering the building with a little girl by your side again.

Except you looked different this time. You were wearing a grey sweater with and blue jeans instead of your normal attire. We got curious as to how come you were back so early and who was the little girl with you, so we both went to ask you. Guess what? Turns out it wasn't you, it was your look alike."

"What? You saw someone who looked exactly like me. That must be it!!?" That made sense, maybe she was Timothy's wife, or wait, was she an imposter? Who knows. "By the way, how did you figure out it wasn't me? Just from the dress?" I asked him anxious as to where his story was going

"Well it's one of the reasons, but anyways we decided to ask you what you find out.

'Hey, how come you're here?' Oliver asked her

To which she looked confused and replied 'I'm sorry? I think you must have mistaken me for someone.I don't recognize you' That little girl hid behind her After she said that.

For a moment I thought you were kidding so I decided to ask you as well. But it was like talking to a wall, no response at all. So I decided to irritate her, or you since I thought it was you who I was talking to. At first I tried moving palms right in front of eyes. But still there was no reaction, so I directly poked at your eyes, and guess what it went through her eyes. That's when we realised she was alive.

"What?! What if it was me? Why would you hurt me like that?" I asked him shocked whilst I imagined the scenario.

"Relax you're dead, you are physically incapable of getting hurt. Anyways I looked at Oliver surprised at what just happened. He however retained his calm gesture as if nothing has happened.

'My apologies ma'am. I forgot my glasses today so I thought you were someone else.' Oliver covered quickly for us as to avoid any suspicion.

After that she left but Oliver didn't want her out of his sight, he found her suspicious, so he wanted to follow her. Of course I told him I would do it since it would be weird of a policeman follows her. So he went like

'I'm a detective, trust me I should follow her. You get inside of him for now'

To which I replied. 'Eww no! First of all that sounded so wrong. And secondly he stinks! Can't you just leave him and go? Why do I have to take your place?'

' Imagine a cop sleeping in a police car outside of an apartment in the broad daylight, how suspicious does it look? And what if wakes up? Then what? He will drive away leaving us!' He said that and left without even waiting for my reply! I've been waiting for him or you to return ever since."

"How long is this 'ever since' of yours?" I asked him

"Couple of minutes." he said casually.

"And yet you possessed him!" I smirked.

"Well of course. He might say important things in a weird way, but you gave to admit, his logic is correct. I mean we got farther with him in two days than we got in two months." He shrugged.

"Yeah, we did. Why didn't you tell me about him before? I mean he is your friend right?" I asked/accused him.

"Hey! Like I said he is really weird. Ever since he died he's been obsessed with his killer and is trying to solve the case he failed to solve as a human. I didn't actually think he will help us for real." He defended himself. "Guess I was wrong" he shrugged.

"Well, then I'm glad I ran into him."

"Anyways, what did you find out?" He asked me.

So I told him everything, from the pictures, the kiss, the four day situation. everything . He was quite amused by the whole encounter.

"So I am confused, are you Timothy's wife or is the the woman, who looked like you?" He asked me.

"Honestly, that's something even I'm confused about." I sighed. "At this point I don't know what to believe. Should I just give up and move on? I'm so tired of getting nowhere!" I closed my eyes and whined in frustration.

" Hey! What kind of crazy crap did we all just walk into?" Suddenly I heard Oliver call to us.

"What do you mean?" I asked him.

"Well, did Ken tell you what happened here?" he asked to which I nodded.

"Well then I hope you have some idea of what I was talking about." he looked at me frustrated.

"Yeah, it's very confusing." I told him.

"It turns this look alike of yours is that guy's wife. I mean it makes sense in a way, so if you think you know him, then who are you?" He asked me looking at me as if I'm the suspicious one.

But I couldn't care less! Who was that woman? She had to be in imposter right? I could feel it in my nonexistent bones that I'm Timothy's wife, so there is no way I'm not mistaken. Right?

Hello silent readers, and not so silent ones too! Thank you so much for supporting me!

Who do you think this woman is, BTW? what do you think her motive is if she's really an imposter?

Also, as I wipe my happy tears, I'll like to thank my big siso Shadowprincess96 for mentioning me in her book, "Fated to you". Do check it out while you wait for my next update.
