Earning a place Part 2

Clara POV

Woah what is he doing he is waving at me why does he look much cooler when he is fighting. I would then look back at my enemy which is kinda distracting while Artirina is looking at me. I would then give a soft smile at Artirian `` Ugh why don't you just stop you fool" I would hit his rib and send the attacker flying hitting the wall.

"Heh.. better luck next time idiot" I would then look at Artirian as I see him dashing in front of me but being intercepted by the 3 attacker on my team as I saw him fighting and clashing with the 2 of his enemies I was amazed my eyes were having stars while looking at him he was so attractive that even I wanted to cheer him on in his fight even though we are not on the same side.

As I look closely at him he looks so strong and I think if we fight I would lose to him. Maybe that is how he led the Flying daggers in defeating the Criminal Syndicate Cobras that have been ruling Moon Scar for a decade.

As I watch the battle scenes Artirian has greatly improved from the previous time we fought I think he is getting much stronger. "Go Artirian!" I shouted with my soft voice. "Ugh I think he didn't heard me oh well time to attack those stupid guys over there" I would unsheathe my sword and charge forward as I use my gallant force to imbued my weapon to have swift cut on the enemy armor neglecting what it was made of.

With that dashed I quickly defeated 2 attackers and disable their way to the finals. I want to pass this test and earn my right to have the cross medal. Then I would look back at Artirian as I looked at him, still amazed at how he defeated two enemies by himself.

Those techniques I think are familiar I think I saw that technique before I don't know where. Then soon after a few minutes I turned back again to Artirian. As my sword would cash with 1 attacker and as he smirked at me and belittled me I would push his sword then dashing forward cutting through his armor and giving a shallow wound on his chest after that I would kick him knocking the attacker out.

Then soon after the 1st enemy has been knocked out then came the 2nd one charging at me as I jolted backward to keep some space from me and the attacker, As I tightly grip my sword then with a technique known as whirlwind I would give a straight dash forward and give a counter thrust on the enemy hitting the enemy on his right chest and the 2nd enemy would kneel and falls on the ground face first.

I already defeated 2 more attackers and they also cannot match my prowess. And then I saw Artirian laying on the ground and he was not moving as I was watching him and some of the fights were stopped because Artirian dropped on the ground. My eyes suddenly would be filled with tears and my heart suddenly giving mild beats. Is he still okay I wanna move and go there but for now I must focus as the medical staff would take care of him.

Artirian POV

"I can still hold-" My hands are shaking I can't move I think I am going to collapse. My vision is blurry and I can't see the enemy properly. I think I am too exhausted because of this battle. Maybe I was not really destined to join the scout guild. I'll soon train harder as I spurted a bit of blood. "Argh.. this pain is pulling me back to fight. This wounds keeping me from not being able to fight" I would then make the Bokken sword as my cane so that I can still stand straight enough and as I look at my enemy. He was just pitying me and that is why he won't attack me because I am like this. I can no longer fight.

I stared at my enemy, he was smirking while looking at me. I would try to charge but when I did my eyes came into darkness my vision just went black next I was gasping for air. I can't feel every inch of my body. It looks like it is my end again. Is this what is happening, another painful and excruciating pain I can feel. My wounds are bleeding, my body can no longer function, my core is exhausted.

~Black out dream~

"NOOO stop! What are you going to do... stop Clara!!" I would grab her hand and try to remove the vines that are slowly taking her "NO STOP!" My heart is beating fast, I need to help Clara "CLARA WAKE UP!" I would remove the vines as quickly as I can but they grew faster and faster. Then the place suddenly came into a bright light "I damn I can't see it's too bright" "Hello someone!" Then it became a scene in a beautiful paradise. And as I saw my mother she was standing beside my father my heart felt joy that I needed. I would run towards them but when I almost reached them a fire ablaze in front of me they started shouting for help. but I couldn't cross the fire it was too hot.

"MOTHER! FATHER" I shouted to the top of voice tears would come down across my cheek my eyes would be blurred because of the tears as I wiped them off. Then with that, it quickly changes again this time it's the scene earlier but in front of me was Clara getting killed. I could clearly see she was slashed by a sword at her back and someone would stab her on the the stomach by two unknown people. I couldn't do anything I can only look at it my tears began to fall on the ground I was stepping on. Then a black surrounding came to an end.

As I opened my eyes I was also sweaty and I was on a comfy bed. The relaxation I can feel was able to move my hands again. I open my eyes slowly and I can see a bright light and a little hot atmosphere. I look around seeing a couple of people having bandages and treating their wounds.

I can see some doctors who are doing stitches on a man who has a wound on his arm and it was not a shallow one so it became a little bit bloody. I can smell the stench of blood and potions used for healing. But moving my body I can still the pain from the new stitches on my body.
