Obstruction Part 2

Artirian felt it was already morning because of the temperature inside of the box that he was in. Artirian then slowly tries to open the cover. And as he slowly opened the cover he saw someone walking towards the back door and opening it. ``So that person is part of the Republican forces. Dammit they are not leaving the place?``

Artirian whispered to himself. Then after a few minutes, Artirrian then started thinking about the past events yesterday. ``that was a real massacre last night it was inescapable thanks to this box I am safe. If only the Empire General paid a lot of attention to intelligence gathering, that kind of massacre won't really happen. We are all caught by surprise.`` 

Few hours had passed and Artirian was able to get out of the box he was in. After he gets out of the box his body now starts to feel the pain that earlier he didn't feel inside the box. Artirian then slowly and quickly sneaks out to the front of the Inn and checks the surroundings at.

Then Artirian was surprised, shocked and scared to see bodies after bodies of conscripts. Limbs that have been taken off, Heads that were separated from the body. From the floor to the wall blood was everywhere. Artirian continued to survey the surroundings but his alertness and grip from his Bokken sword were always high. "It looks like the Republican forces already left.' Artirian whispered to himself.

n It was a mess, a massacre to be precise that is what Artirian saw and as he looks more deep into the bloody village town. He was reminded of himself of what happened again about that chaotic bloody evening he was through.

He was really not expecting that kind of scenario to happen. It was not humanly nor with honor, to what Artirian thinks the republican forces did not take any prisoners from the empire as he also saw the General body which is hanged near a post.

Artirian continued to walk towards the destroyed door. He then took a glance outside, it was still the thick fog and still misty, even colder. It was also dead silent. Artirian already noticed the blood on the dirt; it looked like the body was dragged.

As he walked slowly outside of the inn and he then saw a real massacre, heads were pinned on a stick at some heads became a display pole and a pile of bodies that almost would make a wall. It was so bloody that it also stinks. Some bodies were burned and it looks they are burned alive.

There come pests such as rats and crows were to be seen lurking around and eating from the dead bodies. The village was also destroyed with some of its houses burned and destroyed. but no Republican army would be seen around.

it looks like they have quickly fallen back to their lines. After that, he then heads towards the hideout but as he travelled towards the hideout he was already vomiting because he cannot take that much foul smell and trauma that he saw.

Artirian POV

``It was not a joke to fight in a war…`` Before I started vomiting, what I saw was so bloody. Maybe I need to get used to it to live in this world. We must have peace and remove that kind of atrocity. ``I want to unite this continent there is still a far beyond things to happen.``

When I reached the hideout it was still hidden as once I left. Nothing changed from where I left them. I head towards the slumber hall where I can find my room where I stayed.

I entered my slumber room and pulled my Bokken Sword and then put it on a rock table beside the bed. I then lay on the bed and take a few naps after I get my composure back. I then head towards the exit of the hideout with my Bokken sword and some supplies that I need to travel towards the MoonScar city.

Artirian then walked towards the dirt road heading to the MoonScar city where Rommel and the rest of the group were sent as a refugee. It had taken him a few more days and nights to reach the city of Moon Scar as to what Artirian planned. While walking on the dirt road with a messy battered shirt he then encountered a few wagons of merchants.

Some of the drivers looked worried as they saw Artirian. They thought that Artirain was a bandit and anytime they attacked them. Then one wagon driver stopped and asked 'Do you need a ride kid?" Artirian looked back and then nodded. After he nodded the driver said "Well then hop on the wagon" 

While they were on the trip the man asked, "Are you from the Massacre village Kid?" While he was asking that he was looking at Artirian who was seated behind. As he tried to look at Artirians shirt. It was dirty and looked like it came from a battlefield. Artirian replied with a soft tone of voice "Yes... I came from that place ".

The man suddenly looks disappointed to get a teenager like Artirian to see the chaotic world early from his life. Their travel continued for 1 day then it was interrupted by a group of road bandits that were waiting for caravans or carriages that have loots or valuables in them.

The bandits then stood across the dirt road while their weapons were on their shoulder and they were all smirking. Then leader of the bandits was standing in the middle with a height of 6 ft and a well-built body.

Beside him are 5 underlings, the driver of the wagon stopped. All of the underlings of the bandit road boss slowly walked towards the wagon. But the wagon driver did not know there were 10 more bandits that were hiding near the trees and bushes. 3 of them were archers and the others were using swords. 

Then the right-hand man of the Bandit boss talked to the wagon driver. Meanwhile, Artiran was sleeping at the back of the wagon. "Why don't you pay up then oldie," The right-hand man of the Boss bandit said. "How much is the toll fee? I would rather pay the toll and please just don't take the things I have in my wagon."

Then the bandit leader got a bit frustrated because it took a long time. He then orders the two of his underlings to check the back of the wagon. Then the wagon driver said "Please don't" But the wagon driver was pushed on the ground because the wagon driver has a frail body. "Stay dog or else we are going to kill you!".

Then the bandits walked towards the back of the wagon and then checked the wagon. As they checked the back of the wagon then they saw a kid that was lying on the wooden floor of the wagon inside.

Then slowly Artirian open his eyes and then say "awh~ what's going on?" but then the other underling yelled at Artirian and said "Hey kid get off the wagon!" then the other underling of the bandit boss tapped Artirian head hard enough Artirian almost got face-first on an edge. 

At that time Artirian was now furious so he grabbed his Bokken sword and quickly unsheathed it and then with great enough force of power he slashed the bandit horizontally *SWOOSH*. The cut was so deep the blood followed after Artirian sliced the bandits body.

Then the other one was his two arms were cut off by Artirian the blood then became like a fountain spurting all around and then Artirian easily sliced the neck of both of the underlings that were checking the back of the wagon. "Pathethic" 

Then the leader of the bandits noticed something that there was the blood that was spreading at the back of the wagon. He then called out all of the bandits that were hiding in the trees and bushes. "CHECK the back of the wagon!" 

As the bandits slowly walked towards the wagon. Then one of the heads of the bandits boss underlings slowly rolled at the back of the wagon and it was the head of one of the underlings. Then with an angered tone of voice, the bandit leader said " HEY! YOU THERE FACE ME! YOU DAMN GUY!".

Once Artirian walked the bandit leader was shocked to see a young kid holding a sword all bloody and smiling. With great courage, Artirian was serious in annihilating every single bandit he sees as of what is happening.

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING? CHARGE AT THE KID!" the Bandit leader shouted with an angry tone of voice. Then suddenly an arrow would fire from an unknown location and purposely missed Artirian face but still hits Artirian cheeks. The wound looks like a scratch on Artirian face making a shallow wound on his face and slowly blood drips.

The Bandit leader then laughs loudly at Artirian but soon after when the drop of blood reaches the ground. The Bandit leader's head flew off the sky as his body would spurt blood all around. Then the bandits' leader's body slowly dropped on the ground and the body was still twitching.

As the Bandit leader underlings saw what happened, and still clueless on what kind of magic Artirian did.

 They cannot believe that what is happening is true. Their hands started shaking in fear but there is still the anger which is what they feel when they see that they can't do anything but one of the underlings get a hold of himself and jolted towards Artirian.
