Chapter 33

Christy stood gasping at her visitors. She knew who they were and what they'd come for.

"Christy Evans." One of the guy in suit said.

She nodded hesitantly.

The man in a black suit exchanged looks with the nuns and his partner. "I'm Jerry. We're in search of Elie Griffin, do you have an idea of where he is?" Jerry said.

"Why me?" Christy asked.

"Some people around said to have spotted you two numerous times." The other guy in suit said.

"Just because people said it that doesn't mean I'll know where he goes 24\7." She a little too aggressively.

Her words made the men exchange looks again as silence filled the room.

"We don't want to hurt your friend, we just want to help him, do you know he attacked some orphans and the got hurt seriously, they're still being hospitalize." Jerry said calmly. Christy still remained silent and kept an emotionless face. As she took in the new information, it was a great relief to know they aren't dead.
