Chapter 16

It was now time for my 3rd year of middle school. In all honesty it felt the same for the other two years.

I went threw the day for classes as usual before heading to the gym. It's time to see the first years who joined the club.

Heading into the gym I see Shoyo and others warming up. I went to greet them and we talked for a bit before first years came with Ms Yama.

" Okay listen up. It's another year and of course we will have to choose our starting line up. " Ms Yama says. " Now then the captain position will go Hinata Daiki. The vice captain position will go to Totsubo. We will have a practice match to test our first years with others to see who will be our starters. "

The practice match wasn't new. As for the first years they were pretty good. We have 2 first years that joined this year.

Leyfa Boa. He is 155cm tall with messy black hair and has black eyes. He has a lean body with some muscle. He plays as a libero.

Santa Kumo. He is 160 cm tall. He has brown hair with black eyes. He has a muscular body and plays as a middle blocker.

They are really good. Leyfa can get most spikes and serves. He can read people quite well so feints arnt that much of an issue but a well placed one can get through.

As for Santa he is a powerful finisher. His spikes are strong as it can power through most blocks with ease. His receives arnt half bad along with his blocks.

" Alright gather around. Now for the positions. Daiki, Shoyo Totsubo and Aomine your positions are the same. Leyfa will be our libero and Santa will be our other middle blocker. Now then with that said it's time to train. Let's get to work. " Ms Yama says with her iconic sadistic smile.

Hell continued for 5 months as the tournament was on the horizon. Our teamwork improved a lot. Our formations have been perfected by the new members and some new ones have been made.

One of them is a synchronised attack where Leyfa sets the ball to me to spike. The others go in to confuse the oppenent. Leyfa managed to pull this off with his ball control. His sets were good so I taught him.

Shoyo also improved on making sets. When I can't make a set he steps in to do it. Santa also improved his blocking. Ms Yama and I taught how to read block. We explained the concept to him and with experience he managed to get it to a good enough level for the tournament.

This will be my last middle school tournament before highschool. As for that many of you already have guessed but yes I am going to Karasuno.

The day was pretty with the sun shining a good day. But me nope. I currently don't have that luxury. Why?? Because I have a cold.

" Achhooo!!! Fuck!! Screw you god!!"

Hold up. Right now you probably thinking ' How the fuck does this guy have a cold when he has an adaptable body??!!'.Well you see you right. I shouldn't be able to get a cold since my adaptable body can create and anti virus for the virus that infects me at high speed. I shouldn't get sick. But the god who have me wished came and screwed me over.

" How the hell do I have a fever. I shouldn't be able to get one. "

" Oh that's because of me. " A voice said. I looked in front of me and saw god in front of me.

" You did this!! Why?? "

" For fun. I want to see what would happen if you got a cold. So to make it happen I used my powers to turn off you adaptable body perk and give you a cold. "

" Fuck you!! "

" Hey cheer up. You get to miss school I don't know what your so upset about??"

" Your kidding right? I have a sadistic coach who doesn't like it when one player leaves. So when I get back I'll have to do double of all the drills!!!"

" Again what's so bad. "

" I hate you. "

" Love you too. Have fun with your day off. "

He then leaves in a flash of light.

So that's what lead me into this situation. Anyway to get through the day I decided to binge watch Gintama. It was beautiful. I continued watching until someone opened my door.

" Hello Dai chan. How are you on this fine day?Oya your unwell. That's unfortunate. Luckily for you your favorite sempai is here. " Tendou says.

' Godammit!!Why??!!' " Tendou. Why are you here??!! "

" Oh Sho chan called and said your unwell. "

" But why did you come. Isn't your coach going to punish you harshly for skipping class. " Tendou flinched at my words.

" Yes so when I receive it please pray for my safety. "

" No promises. "

" What!! Why?"

" Because you came here and disturbed my peace. "

" That's not even a good reason!! "

" It is to me. "

" Sigh what ever. I got you food. Say Ahhh."

" Hell No!!! "

So Tendou stayed in my house annoying me before Shoyo came home.

" Yo Sho chan. How was your day?"

" Tendou sempai. It was hell. Nii san Ms Yama says that when you get back you'll have double the amount of training. "

" Sigh I know. I'm so dead. "

" Don't sweat it. " Tendou says.I ignore him.

Tendou goes and talks with Shoyo and Natsu. While I walk around and see Tendous bag.Oya Oya. Tendous phone. Did he give nicknames for each person so I can recognise we it is? Yes he did.

" SATORI, WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU!!"Revenge is sweet.

" Hello. I'm Hinata Daiki. Are you Tendous coach?"

"Yes that's me. Tell me why do you have Tendous phone young man? "

" He is currently at my house uninvited annoying me. Can you come over and pick him up?"

" Certainly. Can you tell me your house address? " He said in a very calm voice.

" Sure. "I then give him my house address.

" Well alright I'll be right over. "

" Don't worry about him escaping. I'll keep him here. "

" Alright. "

I then hung up. I walk to the living room with a smile on my face.

" Dai chan what's with that smile? "

" Oh that. Well I just called your coach and invited him over. " I see the color drain from Tendous face.

" Please tell you didn't do that??!! " Tendou says with a squeaky voice.

"Oh but I did. Shoyo Natsu tie him up. "

" Yes sir . " They said while saluting. They then jumped onto Tendou.

" Please spare me. " Tendou yells.

A few minutes later the doorbell rings. I go and answer it.In front of me I see Shiratorizawa coach.Coach Washijo along with the entire team.

" Hello. You must be here to collect A certain guessed. "I ask with a pleasant smile. Washijo answered with I smile of his own. This caused the team to step away from their coach.

" Yes. I'm coach Washijo. Is Tendou here or did he succeed in escaping? "

" Don't worry. Like on the phone I still have him. My cute little siblings made sure he didn't escape. "

Tendous screams echoed the house.

" Don't worry he's fine. "

The screams increased.

" Totally fine. " I say with a smile. Washijo has a smile on face and chuckled slowly while the rest looked at me with caution. " Anyway please come in. "

" Alright. " Washijo says before heading after taking off his shoes.

" Excuse us. " The rest of the team say before coming in.

In the living room we see Tendou tied up with silly string with his face drawn on with paint and his hair messed up in a new style.

" Ahhaahah" Everyone laughed.The only people who didn't was Washijo who only smirked and Ushijima who still had a placid expression.

" Dai chan you didn't warn about this. "

" This is what you get for coming to my house."

" But.. " Before he can say anything Washijo is in front of him sitting on a chair with a scary expression on his face.

" Tell me why did you think that bothering this kind young man was better than missing my practice??"

Tendou looked at him with sweat pouring down his face, " Well you see .. "

He turned and screamed into the air, " SOMEBODY SAVE ME!!!"

No one did.
