Chapter 28

Kurapika sat on the couch as he listened to his co-workers talk about the job they have been given.

" First part of the job is finished. Got the boss here without any issues. Next is to guard the auction house for tonight. " Kurapika's employer said.

" Three will attend the auction, two will guard the back entrance, and the last 2 will guard the front entrance. " He said while listing their position for the night.

He soon left the room as Kurapika just sat on the couch and closed his eyes.

" Kurapika is something the matter? " Melody asked seeing the change in Kurapika's heartbeat.

" Yeah. I'm just preparing myself for his arrival." Kurapika said.

" Who's? " Melody asked.

" Mine. "

Melody turned her head to the left to see a tall white-haired man wearing a blindfold. The other bodyguards looked in his direction and immediately got into a fighting stance.

Kurapika just smiled as he got up and looked at his friend.

" Yo Kurapika. It's been a while. " Satoru said.

" It has been a while. " Kurapika said with a smile.

" Gon and Killua are also here? " Kurapika asked.

" Yep. They are exploring the place though. I'll be leaving to go find them soon but for now I wanted to see how you were doing. Leorio is also in town. He's with Gon and Killua at the moment. " Satoru said with a smile.

" That's good. I have a job tonight though. I can come to visit them tomorrow. " Kurapika said.

" Okay. " Satoru said with a thumbs up.

" Excuse me, but who are you? " Melody asked.

" Oh. Names Satoru Gojo. "

" We meet during the hunter's exam. He is a friend. " Kurapika said.

" I see. " Melody said smiling.

" Well since I'm here, let's catch up. " Satoru said.

" Hahahahha...." Kurapika laughed as he watched the video of Gon vs Hisoka at Heaven's arena.

" He actually trolled Hisoka. " Kurapika said while laughing.

" His face though. " another one of the bodyguards laughed as he paused on Hisoka's face.

" I know. I was and still am proud of that moment. " Satoru said happily.

" I didn't expect so many funny moments. " Kurapika said a wiping his years of joy.

" Yep. Well, I have to go now. You have to get back to your job right? " Satoru said as he stood up.

" Yeah. I'll come to see the others tomorrow. " Kurapika said.

" Alright. " Satoru said smiling before teleporting out of the room.

" Yo. " Satoru said as he appeared in front of Gon, Killua, Alluka, and Leorio.

" Hey, Dad. " Alluka said as she rushed over to him and gave him a hug.

" Oh Satoru sits been so long and now you are already a father! " Leorio yelled as he registered what Alluka said.

" Yep. Hey, Leorio, how are you doing? " Satoru asked as he picked Alluka up.

" Not much. " Leorio said.

" So why were you so late? " Killua asked.

" Oh, I went and talked to Kurapika," Satoru said.

" Ehh, really?! He's here. Can we go meet him? " Gon asked excitedly.

" We will be meeting him tomorrow. He works as a bodyguard for some family right now and has a job tonight. " Satoru said.

" So what are you guys doing? Got any plans to get greed island? " Satoru asked.

" We do. But we wouldn't have to if someone wasn't so stingy with his money. " Killua said annoyed as he looked at Satoru.

" Hey. It's my hard-earned money. I'll do what I want with it. " Satoru said defensively.

" Well then let's get started. " Gon said a she got up.

" Okay. " Leorio and Killua said.

" Dad, can we go explore the city down more? " Alluka asked.

" Sure. Have fun, you guys. " Satoru said as the trio walked away.

" Bye bro. " Alluka said as Killua waved back.

" I'll be back soon. " Killua said.

" So you ready to go explore? " Satoru asked.

" Yep. "

" Okay, where the fuck is Hisoka? " Uvogin asked.

" Don't know. He's running late. " Feitan said.

" Boss. Can you just tell us now? " Phinks asked as he sat up straight.

" Yes please do. "

The troupe members looked in the voice direction to Hisoka walking in.

" Hisoka finally. Why were you so late? " Nobunaga asked.

" You see after a certain 'incident ' I needed to let off some stress. The best therapy session recommended to me was to go on a massacre.

So I did. " Hisoka said as he played with his cards in the corner.

" I see. Well, whoever pissed you off is probably dead. " Machi said.

" Nope. He is useful. I just gave him a warning." Hisoka said.

" So he's still alive. Damn, I want to meet this guy. " Uvogin said smiling.

" Same. " Nobunaga said as he nodded his head.

" That can be saved for later. "

They turned their heads towards the shadows to look at their leader, Chorllo.

" We have a more important matter to attend to. "
