It's been two weeks without speaking to Tyler or acknowledging that he even exists. I've seen him around school and in some of my classes. He doesn't look my way or sneak glances at me as I do. My heart hurts just watching him live his life. I was doing the right thing, this was his future and mine. I have to keep reminding myself every time I watch him walk past my locker. It was harder for me to smile at my friends anymore, with spending time with Adam and his family my week was always busy. Adam even accompanied my mother and me to Paris, we took his family plane. Everything was as it should, I was with my ideal guy and my parents loved him. But why wasn't I happy? I had everything I ever wanted, didn't I? 

My phone ringing brings me back, I was currently tanning next to the pool. It was a late Saturday evening, the hottest day of the month.
