Georgia Guidestones

Dear Diary,

I'm a Witch. How impossibly amazing is that? Bonnie Bennett is a witch.

I thought I was losing my mind. I thought I was hallucinating or having delusions of the supernatural. No, I was just awakening.

A month ago at the founder's ball, a lot happened and it was a bit of a mess. But, let me start from the beginning.

After I managed to get Sol to attend the Founder's ball. I naturally had to force him into socializing until he went off on his own and returned with Elena. That was a shocker. They a quick dance and looked like he was making a move. I don't feel about that yet, I'm trying not to think about it.

Anyway, they made progress. He lets her call him, Sol, and he finally called her, Elena, instead of the weird Miss Gilbert thing he does. I think it's the start of a new friendship. Cute.

But, during that little event, yours truly was all by her lonesome and I watched a candle go out. For a brief moment I thought, What if? What if I was a witch and everything Grams said is true? What if I could be more than just Bonnie Bennett in small-town Mystic Falls? More than the average best friend of the town hot girls and the descendant of an unclaimed founding family.

So, I thought and I gave myself an answer. I can be Bonnie Bennett the witch, the extraordinary among… Muggles...Lol.

I focused and then bam. I knew that I lit that candle. And then reality set in. Magic isn't real, I thought.

That is until My Sol asked me to dance with him. It was really nice, then he asked me a question that should have been simple, but it's Solomon. I couldn't say, anything. He's my other half. If I can't tell him anything, who can I tell?

Thankfully, when I told him about my little parlor trick with the candle, he didn't freak nor did he laugh. Instead, he held my hand and walked me into something new and amazing.

He taught me how to set fires with a SPELL! And he didn't just teach me, he SHOWED me. Because all of us are witches. Me, Sol, Grams, my mom. It's a Bennett thing.

But our Twin Witch bonding was cut short when Elena called rambling about Caroline. Apparently, Damon was a scary, sexy, dangerous guy. He got all rough with Caroline and she was in shock for a while until she wasn't. If there's anything that Caroline is good for, it's being resilient.

So she snapped to and planned the sexy suds car wash at the school. She's been through a lot so I thought I should be there for here. I was wrong, I should have practiced with Sol.

Caroline ended up vanishing on us and left that bitch Tiki in charge. I snapped and set a car on fire. Sol stopped it before it got out of hand, but Stefan Salvatore saw me and now I think Sol hates him even more now. He and Sol walked off to talk and I just had to leave.

I ran to Grams and told her what happened, I didn't tell her that Sol told me everything already. We stayed cooped up for days talking about witch history. And lets just saw that Sol is a way better teacher than Grams. She's all doom and gloom, Magic isn't supposed to fun, Bonnie.

But when Sol stays at Dad's with me, it's magic all the time. He even gave mom's grimoire. I didn't know how I felt about it, so restarted mom's garden in the backyard. I used all the tricks she wrote in her grimoire to make it a success. When dad got home, it was the first time that I ever saw him cry.

I was bending down pulling weeds and he called me, Abby… God, I'm tearing up even now.

Anyway, after he calmed down and looked at the garden, he knew I had found out about magic. He and Grams argued and then Sol came home and the shit hit the fan. Ahhh! I wanted to pull my hair out. But I didn't say anything.

Dad stayed home for a few weeks because he was worried about me. Grams and Sol hated it.

So now, it's Halloween. After the Halloween Party. Sol is going to teach me how to do a seance…

"Hey Grams. I have to head out." Solomon called out as he went downstair with a packed bag.

"For how long and to where?" Grams asked as she spied the bag on his shoulder.

"Couple of days. I'm heading down to Georgia." He replied as he double-checks his things.

"And what's in Georgia?" she asked.

"I honestly don't know what to tell you, Grams" Solomon stopped and faced his grandmother.

"What can you tell me? Because you haven't said much since you appeared."

Solomon's eyebrow twitched.

"Yeah, I know you just showed up. Josephine called, she thought I had broken you out, but you found a way through the boundary spell, didn't you?" asked Grams.

Solomon took a deep breath. " The things you learn when your ancestors want someone to talk to. I'll explain everything when I get back."

The sound of millions of whispers penetrated Grams' ears. In many different languages that all meant the same thing, 'Let him go.'

"I guess I don't have a say in the matter," said Grams. "Just make sure you call and check-in."

"Of course." Solomon hugged his grandmother then left the house.

'You must get to the Georgia Guidestones before midnight tomorrow.' The voice of a spirit spoke to Solomon.

"Why can't I just teleport again."

'Because Fauline Cottage has the energy of countless dead witches to tap into. You don't have that here. And you'll need the power of the obelisk to keep you alive." It replied.

"Road trip it is then." He said. "What about Bonnie?"

"She has a different path now. Get going."

At Mystic Falls High School, Bonnie was dressed in a witch costume with an old crystal talisman around her neck that brought the custom together.

She was stepping out of the building when Damon Salvatore approached her in a restrained but as always, arrogant manner.

"So where...where'd Caroline run off to?" Damon asked

Bonnie scoffed with an overwhelming dislike for the vampire. "Do yourself a favor, Damon, and don't ask me about Caroline," she replied.

"Oh, Bonnie. So loyal." Damon spoke sarcastically as he looks around to find the blonde.

"Just stay away from her."

Damon looks back at Bonnie and notices the old talisman dangling from her neck.

Damon arches an eyebrow and asks, "Where'd you get that?"

" From a friend," Bonnie replies with attitude. She was reaching her limit but tried to control herself as to not injure a man who she thinks is human.

"Caroline," Damon says blankly. "You know that's mine, don't you?"

"Not anymore."

"Funny," Damon replies with a faux smile. "I'd like it back, please."

"I'm not giving it to you." Bonnie steps to Damon, not willing to be punked. " I'll give it to Caroline, and she can give it to you if she feels like it."

"Or I could just take it right now," Damon replied annoyed as he reaches out and grabs the talisman.

The moment he touches the talisman, it burns his fingers severely.

In the heat of the moment, Bonnie gets mad at his attempt to pull the talisman from her neck. Bonnie unknowingly channels the power in the Talisman, just as Damon was going to pull his hand away, Bonnie snaps the bones in his hand.

Think that she hurt a sick and dangerous man, but a man nonetheless, Bonnie runs off...

Quitely sitting at the table, Grams was grading papers when she suddenly hears her front door open and Bonnie rushing in, in a panicked state.

Grams rises from her seat and goes to check on all the commotion when she notices that her granddaughter is a bit shaken. "What happened to you?" she asks.

"I did something. I don't know." Bonnie replies as she pulls off her custom wig. " It came from my necklace."

With a look of shook, Grams asked, "Where'd you get that?"

Confused and shaken, Bonnie replies, "It's part of my costume. It's a piece of junk."

Grams shakes her head speaks as she moves to a shelf in the next room. "That piece of junk belonged to one of the most powerful witches of our family. Let me show you."

Grams searched the top of the shelf until she pulls down a photo album and sets it on the table. Opening it to the middle of the album, Grams says, "There she is. Emily Bennett. Your great-great-great-great-grandmother. And there's your necklace."

Bonnie gasps…

7 hours later and 10 miles outside of Elberton, Georgia. The land was pitch black due to lack of lamps. But even through the darkness, Solomon could make out the nearly 20 foot stone monument.

'The Georgia Guidestones. Commissioned by a group of wannabe witches in 1979, who call themselves, the Sons of Reason. I need you to destroy the monument and take the time capsule beneath it.' The spirit whispered to him

"Easy enough." Solomon began to move.

'Wait.' the spirit called out. 'The Sons of Reason have something planned her at midnight tomorrow, or later today. You have to wait and kill them all. If not, they will hunt for the contents of that time capsule until the end of time.'

Solomon sighed. "So they're fanatics. Great. And what do I get in return for a midnight massacre?" he asked.

'I already teach you the magic of all your ancestors. What more could you want?'

"Yeah, magic takes power! I have it, but I need more to actually do everything that you teach me and that takes time. I need something materialistic and now, something to make me happy."

'You want money'

"Think more durable."

'Jewels, gold, silver.'

"Now you're talking. So go commune with with all the dead Bennetts and the other witches on that side. And find me a good score. Until then, I'll wait right here."
