Our home

The mother his aunt; who had died after giving birth to him due to blood loss. Found with one arm torn off, it was clear how that happened with the bodies around.

It was as it seems the girl saved him almost immediately after his birth and perhaps because of this he thought of her as his mother.

So far the girl had not said a word; a fact that can not be disputed, but sooner or later she would have to at least try, especially when his mother sought answers.

The limo arrived on the private road leading to the family property, pausing at the gates where a scan was made before permitted entry. The driver slowly drove, the length up the long drive to the main mansion.

Sparing the small girl a glance, Hyuen wondered with all he had informed her; what would be her reaction.

The property itself was vast; a total of several small homes for servants. Who tolled the land and worked inside the main homes which in itself was a monstrosity, built a little over a thousand years ago.

Placed, at the entrance of the home as if greeting those who entered, were twin guardian males dressed in robes, decked in a wide-brimmed bamboo hat and samurai swords secured at their sides. While as if protecting their masters, were their animals a lion and a wolf each towering over their human owners of around ten to twelve feet.

Granite steps led to the heavy oak double doors which were wide open, while flanked on each side by the servants a total of two hundred.

It was as if the master had returned home, instead of simply the first family's second young master, a wild young girl and a baby. Hyuen thought with a smirk, his mother seemed to have gone all out, simply to impress a wild girl and a newborn.

When the hover vehicle came to a smooth halt, a servant immediately stepped forward and opened the door. Stepping out gracefully; Hyuen tilted his head upwards slightly giving his handsome face an arrogant look before fixing his gaze on his elder brother who by his side stood his immaculately dressed fiancé.

"Welcome home second young master Pingui,"

Nodding to the servants Hyuen fixed his jacket, turned to the girl who exited with the small child, before taking the granite steps one at a time.

Hyuen bowed to the first family's firstborn son and his legal born brother Hyemi.

Who at nineteen had a slightly more mature version to himself. Towering over one hundred and ninety-three meters; slim athletic build, with his body encased in a custom suit, he looked at every part of the next patriarch of the Pingui Clan.

With his bangs swept to the side exposing his narrow forehead, cold eyes straight nose and stern lips, Hyuen nodded to this brother but said nothing else.

Hyuen had no desire to bother with the female at his side finding her an eyesore, though her family background was passable, she was merely the second born, still a child at seventeen. A daughter undeserving of his brother who had originally been engaged to the first, if she could do underhanded means to a legally born sister to claim a man, what would she do to any who crossed her not of her blood?

The cousin from the second family was first born Bo Hui; officially the second born among the males, similar features though softer was engaged to an heiress of three major hotels adding to her personal wealth, which was nothing in their eyes especially Bo Hui.

Who personal took over the running of the second family's shipping company two years prior, so there wasn't a point of really marrying her except only to help revive the Pingui family's bloodline.

While the second family's second-born son, Bo Hui's younger brother Dong Uk at fourteen stood a little to the side alone.

Hyuen's gaze fell on his mother who smiled beautifully; joy filled her gaze as she stepped forward and greeted him first as the female finally stopped a little behind him.

Immediately the first mistress focused on both ignoring her son to walk directly towards the girl and the slightly squirming baby embraced in her arms.

This was how the small wild girl entered the Pingui family.

*

I have to be grateful to my past self, for actually knowing somehow that we had to learn.

Of course, it had been a struggle but that struggle was worth every effort I had put in. For me to have the basic knowledge from those books to act out the right way during all of those crucial moments.

At the airport, it was a massive place, humans from all walks of life entered and excited.I'd explored many parts but some places I still hadn't been able to sneakily explore due to the fear of being discovered.

Settling to make do with collecting clothing and food... Stealing books to understand how to survive among these humans, slowly but surely adjusting to the overpowering scents that constantly assaulted my nose or the extremely almost deafening sounds.

Practising and practising until it was bearable enough.

The pain and torture in those first weeks were something I had no desire to experience again, but that was not right.

I'd have to go through something like that again once my first heart enlarges and the second heart begins to grow.

The pain from memory was something that costed lives, how many pups had died in their adolescents before reaching adulthood? So many it was heartbreaking but it was always the strong survived... The lucky survived, while the weak or unlucky died tragically, in such a painful way that most mothers are even unable to try again.

Dressed in the peach dress provided made from a soft material, and comfortable shoes instead of walking barefooted, I held the child close keeping my head down not even daring to look at anyone.

What I had seen so far was already intimidating enough, humans lived so well; surrounding the selves by massive structures and dressing in clothing that is almost blinding but tastefully made.

"Welcome to our home,"

A softly spoken voice said in a welcoming tone; slowly I lifted my head. Looking directly forward a bit stunned by the resemblance each male had and how gorgeous the females at their sides were. Of course, they were nothing compared to that beautiful male but still, they were in a separate league of their own.

Varying from ages around nineteen to fifteen give or take a few. Each male wore extremely exquisitely made suits there was no doubt they were custom made, just as the books had mentioned.

So we have our fl entering the home of the Pingui family for the first time and the introduction of the four males of the family.
