He found himself chuckling at his own fate. After a few seconds, his chuckle turned into laughter. Yllana found him ludicrous as he was just angry awhile ago, now he's laughing his ass off.

"Now you see why I can't do what I want with you?" He held his face with his hand as he stood up from the floor. He walked slowly near the end of the bed.

Yllana felt his aura once more. When he leaned closer to her face, he whispered. "That idiotic lover of yours placed a powerful enchantment on your ring that prevents anyone from causing you harm." 

She trembled at the viciousness of his voice. He was almost hissing and she felt the warmth of his breath against her skin. She tried to move away, only to be caught by her arm. He gripped her arm tightly that she winced in pain. But she did not frown. She held her gaze and smiled at him.

"At least you now know how much my lover tried to protect me."
