"No, Please"

"No, Please."

"Ahh...."

Another nightmare,

It is the third time she got in a week

She sighs, thinking that it is simply like every other day, and turns her head to look out of the window. It is a bit dark; she knows that she can't get any sleep, so she got up from the bed and went to the bathroom.

After bathing, she went to the closest to pick a dress that she would wear today and got ready.

When getting ready, she saw emotionless eyes staring back at her from the mirror; not wanting to stare at herself more, she went to the kitchen for breakfast after making simple bread and juice and started to eat.

When she saw it at nearly 8 O'clock, she hurriedly ate and put plates to wash and went out of the home.

It is Monday morning rush hour, and many are hurriedly walking to their destination; she is slowly walking to her work and seeing the scenery.

'Meadow is a small town of the country B with a population of nearly 2000, and where everyone knew each other, Meadow is not far away from the capital it is almost three hours journey by train,

The mountains surround this town in the east, forest in the west, in the south it is water and to the north a road for the capital, Meadow is not an advanced town, if you want to go for higher education you have to go to Capital City.

I am Amaya, and here everyone calls me Amy, 24 years old, as everyone thinks like that with long waist-length reddish-brown hair, brown eyes and stands 1.68 m tall, not different from any ordinary girl, nothing stands out much.

I own a small café called "Carefree" with my friends James and Isabella. They both are childhood sweethearts and got engaged this year and are planning to marry next year.'

The café is nearly 10 mins of walking from my home. As I opened the door, the aroma of coffee hit me. After greeting the chef and waiters, I went to sit at the counter and start checking everything about yesterday's account; simultaneously, the doorbell rang, James and Bella came.

[Author Note: don't mind me, but doorbell means the bell which hanged in the Cafe door, which always rings when someone pushed the door]

"Heya babes," said Bella and came to hug

"Hey," I said, hugging her

"Morning Amy," said James

"Morning, Jamey," I said, giving him a nod

Then again asked them,

"What would you both like to drink?"

James said "Espresso" and Bella said" Milk Tea,"

I went to make after making and giving them and also taking my black coffee to drink.

"Do you know someone is coming to our town from the outside?" said Bella

"Haa!" I wondered, taking a sip from my black coffee, not understanding

James said,

"I will be in the office," kissed Bella and went inside with his Espresso

"What you don't know, some big people are coming to our town for seeing some field for factory or something," said Bella taking a sip from her milk tea and sighing, and Bella said

"Oh! how do you get to know this?... oh my, I forgot that your father is Mayor," I said

Then I asked her, "Why are you telling me all these?"

"Oh, nothing much. I just want to say someone, so I just told you," said Bella

"Okay, leave that. I was planning to add a new dessert to the menu. What do you think?" I asked her

"Are you planning to make a new dessert!!" Bella exclaimed

Then she said again, "Which one? The one which you made on Saturday, oh my sweet lord, that coconut three-layer cake was awesome, and I think it will surely be this month's best dessert. Just thinking about that, my mouth is watering"

"I was planning to make the blueberry cake. Now you said this cake, and I will surely make this one, okay? By the way, how is the planning of the wedding going on?" I asked

"Okay then deal, about the wedding we are planning to hold in the old church, you know the big one," said Bella

Bella said, "Amy, you have magic in hand. This milk tea is heaven."

I said, "Thank you."

As we are talking, the people are coming and going then letting Bella sit at the counter. I went into the kitchen to make the coconut three-layer cake and allowed the chef to see it to make it from now on.

After making I just sat there to see how chef Karmen Suyi will do, and I start to think about my life here,

'When I came to Meadow three years ago to live here at that time I was searching for a house to rent and also planning to open a café.

For that, I was talking with Mayor Ivan Debny. That's when I got to know Isabella Debny, a bubbly girl, and James Novan, a gentleman.

At that time, I was like stone, never smiling on my face and emotionless eyes. [Author's Note: this is in a joking manner, as Amy remembers the past]

Bella always joked that I was a female version of her math professor from the university.

Bella always says that I had eased many in these years and mingled with people here even though I don't smile often. At least I don't have those lifeless eyes.

Here no one knows where I am from and what I was doing before, but no one asked me about that, and I was pleased about that.

This is a life I chose to live so I could be far away from those memories and those people and places.'

As she thought Mia one of a waitress came and called her, so she went outside to see

As I walked outside, I saw Uncle Ivan, Uncle Riley Novan, and some people sitting there and discussing something important. I went towards them and greeted them.

"Hello Everyone"

"Oh... Hello Amy," said Uncle Ivan.

"Hello child, How are you? You look beautiful as always like my child," said Uncle Riley.

"Thank you, Uncle, you are also looking healthy," I said politely, then I signalled the waiter to take the order; Uncle Riley asked me, looking around.

"Where are Bella and James?"
