"Are you serious? You expect us to drink such a big glass each after we finish our breakfast?" Ryder said in an annoyed tone.
Alice could see that he was starting to get angry. She didn't want others to look at them strangely, so she interrupted, "It's alright. You can go."
The waiter left.
"Why did you let him go? I should have a talk with the manager," Ryder said.
"It's alright. Don't get angry. It's our fault for ordering without understanding. Also, sharing is not a big deal. We can finish it together. There's no need to spoil the day," Alice said.
Ryder's mouth opened wide in surprise, but he didn't say anything. He simply nodded his head.
They both began their breakfast. The Glass of the milkshake was at the center of the table. They both occasionally sipped from their own straw while having breakfast.
They both finished eating at the same time, and coincidentally, they began sipping the milkshake at the same time as well.
