A Pledge

Kian looks to the Druids surrounding us with disdain as he says "It seems like I almost missed the fun yet again, dollface." When I feel Ambrose's hand slightly shaking, I realize just how nervous he is! That's right! That's his newly beating heart! 

I reach out and grab the blade without thinking, surprising everyone including myself! The Druid finally looks to me with shock as he says "Release the blade! If it cuts you, it will drain your life force!" 

When my white pearly blood drips down onto Ambrose's black shoe, the whole club grows quiet as every Vampire turns to look at me with solid black eyes. I give the Druid a small smirk as I say "Too late. I don't know what your intentions are but if you don't lower your blade, I will show you what it means to threaten those I care about."
