King Of All Heavens

" I haven't even graduated college and yet I'm about to die..." Wang Tian sighed. He looked towards the window with complex emotions. "I'm only 20 years old..." He muttered.

Wang Tian is a college student who is about to die from stage 4 lung cancer. He is only an average student and is nothing special.

'If I were to be given a chance to live again I will grasp it and become immune to death"

Wang Tian's life force slowly faded while a beeping sound echoed about.

"beeeeeeppppppppppppppppppppppppppp"

'Am i dead?' Wang Tian thought to himself as he stared into an empty void.

'Wait where am I?' He looked towards the far distance but his efforts were in vain. He didn't see anything, Only endless darkness. He slowly walked towards a random direction and thought to himself, 'What is this place?'. Then he suddenly remembered that in the novels that he has read, reincarnation was a tad like this. But he never encountered a novel where one gets to walk in an endless empty matter. After an hour of walking, he still saw nothing. Just when he was about to give up, he saw a silhouette in the far distance.

His eyes lit up but when he was about to run towards the silhouette, it vanished.

"Hey wait!!" He shouted

He ran as fast as he could and suddenly came to an abrupt stop. "tug" he hit something and then he fell down on the floor. He looked towards what he hit but saw nothing.

"Do you want to live again?" A distored voice spoke to his right ear. The warm feeling of someone speaking to his ears in a very close distance sent shivers down his spine. He quickly got up and ran but to no avail. He was grabbed by a mysterious hand that came out of nowhere. He was lifted up into the air. He struggled but it was useless. A figure appeared before him.

"Who- who are y-you?" Wang Tian stuttered and said. His feet was frigid because of fear.

"I am... I am..." The figure said. "Death..." The figure continued. "You are... You are a good seed. You are worthy... worthy of my investment. Tell me, what do y-ou want?" Death said while looking straight into Wang Tian's eyes. Death had no eyeballs. He only wore a cloak. Wang Tian said nothing because he was too afraid at the moment. "I will give you another chance to live. Carry out my will and become my successor" Death said. Death slowly put down Wang Tian and then released him from his grip. "Think about it carefully now..." Death said with a hoarse voice while standing there like a mountain, unmoving.

Wang Tian quickly saw this as an opportunity and his eyes lit up. "Will I really live again?" He said. Death didn't answer and didn't even look at him. Without furthet consideration, he hesitantly said,.

" I... I accept."

"Very well child" Death said. "I will grant you power. Tell me, what is it that you desire?" He continued. Wang Tian contemplated for a bit and then said, "I want to have the power of being invicible!" He was awestruck by Death's invicibility and couldn't help but admire him. He could trample on the world with that power if he had it.

"Ah yes, invincibility, very well." Death nodded.

"N-no not Invincibility but ---" Wang Tian agitatedly said. But before he could finish the sentence he was already transported into another world.

Inside a weapon shop, a figure could be seen furiously hammering a metal. Every blow emits a terrifying wave that rocks the vast skies.

"Wang Gui, your son... " Feng Xui said.

Wang Gui stopped for a second and said, "What happened to my son?! Who dares harm him?!" Wang Gui furiously howled and stood up while emitting a terrifying aura. "No no no! No one hurt him. He..." Feng Xui said while his voice gradually faded. "He choked on a chicken bone!" Feng Xui said while trying to hold back his laughter.

"Son..." Wang Gui said and hurried back toward his house. After a few minutes he saw his son laying there in his bed. He quickly walked towards Wang Tian and cried.

"Noo!!! My son! My beloved son! Why does fate have to be so cruel?!" Wang Gui exclaimed while sobbing. "Why did you have to eat a chicken bone?!" He continued.

This Wang Gui, he truly loved his son. This son of his was a cute little fat kid and the only family he has.

After a few seconds, the sect leader arrived. The Sect Leader and Wang Gui were good friends and so he didn't hesitate to come and help Wang Gui. "Don't worry, he will be fine. His soul hasn't left his body yet. There is still a way to f--" but before he could even finish the sentence, something hit his head, "a bone?" The Sect Leader said in confusion. Then he heard someone coughing.

"Oh my son, my beloved son! You are alive!" Wang Gui exclaimed while hugging his fat son. Of course, this was Wang Tian. Wang Tian is reincarnated into the body of this fat boy here. Wang Tian looked at him in confusion but said nothing. "Well, it seems that I don't have anything to do here. I will take my leave first and leave you father-and-son alone." The Sect Leader sighed in relief and said. Wang Gui looked at him and nodded.

"Son, oh my beloved dear son, don't ever leave me again!" Wang Gui hugged his son and kissed him on the forehead. Wang Tian hugged him back and didn't say a word. "I'm going to make some delicious food for you to feast on! Be right back!" Wang Gui said. Wang Gui isn't only an expert in weapon smithing, but also an expert in cooking. His cooking could even make Immortals kneel down in front of him! Wang Gui left Wang Tian's room and went to the kitchen. This father of his really doted on him and would flip the heavens upside down if anything were to happen to Wang Tian. Wang Tian sat in his bed quietly. He observed the surroundings and after that, looked at his body.

'Fuck! Why am I a fat kid?' He thought to himself.

'And where the hell am I? what country is this?' He continued.

Wang Tian was so confused. He closed his eyes and when he rummaged through his mind, he recalled his encounter with Death himself and how he gave him new life.

'I guess this is where I live from now on.' Wang Tian thought to himself.

'I promise to myself that I will become an existence that everybody reveres. An existence similar to a God in everyone's eyes. I want to live this life to the fullest and not waste my time as an average person like I did in my past life.'

'First I need to find a map and more about this world.' Wang Tian decisively decided on what to do.

"Turrrrrrrr~~~" The sound of a stomach grumbling echoed about the room as he smelled his father's cooking. Wang Tian almost died from shock.

Heavens!

What a wondrous smell!

Wang Tian quickly followed the smell and it led him to the kitchen. He saw a figure wearing an apron and skillfully chopping meat while at the same time mixing a dish. And alas! This was his father in this world! He climbed up the chair and sat down. "Son, are you feeling okay now?" Wang Gui said with a big smile on his face. "Yes Father" replied Wang Tian. "Then feast on your favorite Dragon Meat Extravaganza!" Wang Gui said while pointing at a dish on the table. When Wang Tian layed his eyes on the dish he was dumbstruck. Even the appearance of this dish could outclass many revered chefs in his past life! He quickly stretched his short and fat hands towards the Dragon Meat and quickly put it into his mouth.

"Yuuuuummm~~" Wang Tian involuntarily uttered and smiled. His father let out a hearty laugh. Wang Tian quickly feasted on the food and then ate to his heart's content. After the time it takes an incense stick to burn, Wang Tian was finished. He unhesitatingly asked Wang Gui for a map.

"Why the sudden interest in maps my son?" Wang Gui asked. "Wella father, after I've just encountered Death, it felt like something changed within me. It felt good to be alive. To enjoy things! I want to travel the world to enjoy things!" Wang Tian replied while smiling.

"Son..." Wang Gui felt emotional. He felt teary-eyed. This was the day he was waiting for! The day where his son would become a man!

Wang Gui then held out his hand and a book appeared. It was a map of the whole planet. "Son, we are in a planet called earth. Earth is divided into two continents. Yin and Yang. Yang is divided into 3 parts, the Blazing Phoenix, the Divine Land and the Vast Expanse. We are located in the Vast expanse." Wang Gui narrated slowly. 

"What about the Yin continent father?" Wang Tian asked full of curiosity. 

"The Yin continent is also divided into 3 parts, the death desert, the sea of murder and then the..." Wang Gui's eyes flickered with emotion. He didn't mention the third part to Wang Tian.

"Eh? What's the third part of the Yin continent father?"  Wang Tian asked.

"This... I'll tell you when you're strong enough" Wang Gui said awkwardly. But pain could be seen in his eyes.

Wang Tian was now the 20 year old Wang Tian from another world thus he knew how to be sensible and not ask further questions.

"Father, are there rules and laws to abide by?" Wang Tian made a pained expression and then rubbed his head.

"Why the sudden interest in asking son?" Wang Gui replied.

"Since, i want to travel far far away, I should be aware of the rules and laws of this world! Otherwise I fould be imprisoned!" Wang Tian answered in a childish manner.

Wang Gui sighed when he heard this. He looked at his son and said.

"Listen carefully." Wang Gui said in a serious tone. His father was never this serious ever since he met him a couple of hours ago. So this must mean that what he is about to say is important.

"Rule #1: The strong are revered! Power is law!"

When Wang Gui said this, his word sounded like it was the law of the world. It sounded as if the heavens agreed with his words.

"Rule #2: Pay respects to your ancestors."

"and lastly,"

"Rule #3: Kill unhesitantly"

"these are the three solid rules that one must have in order to survive."

'Power?' Wang Tian contemplated and asked.

"What do you mean by the sentences, "The strong are revered, Power is law"? "

"Follow me outside." Wang Gui said and slowly walked outside. They walked towards a huge boulder close to their house. "Do you see this boulder?" Wang Gui said while pointing at the boulder. He stepped a little closer to the boulder and stretched out his index finger. He lightly tapped on the boulder and the boulder collapsed.

Heavens!

What have I seen?!

Immense power just from a single tap?! Am i dreaming?

Wang Tian fell into a daze for a few moments but suddenly realized something. 'Now that you mention it, how can father make a book appear out of nowhere? And I seem to recall people with extraordinary abilities fighting...' Wang Tian thought to himself and quickly regained his composure.

"Father h-how are you so powerful? Wang Tian asked. Even though he has already realized that people here are immensely powerful, he is still dumbstruck by the power that was shown by his father.

Even the strongest man on earth can't lift a boulder! Let alone destroy one with just a single tap! How monstrous and unbelievable was this?!

"We cultivate. I am known as a cultivator. Someone who defies the Heavens and maybe even enslave a world!" Wang Gui said.

His words caused Wang Tian to gasp and pant heavily. His words reverberated to the skies and the heavens grumbled. Clearly not happy with his words.

"This is why I told you that Power is Law. One who does not have enough power cannot protect one's own. One who does not have enough power cannot voice his opinions! And one who does not have enough power cannot enslave a world!

POWER IS LAW. " Wang Gui said with a serious tone.

Wang Tian etched into his mind the things that his father told him. His wise words would help Wang Tian significantly.

As Wang Tian was in deep contemplation, Wang Gui uttered, "But sadly... My power was not enough" He sighed and felt emotional while looking towards the vast sky. Wang Tian did not hear what he said nor will he ever see the loneliness in his father's eyes.
