When the sky was completely dark, Ling Chuxi arrived at the capital. The matters of the war were critical, so the city gates had long been shut. Only a troop of soldiers were patrolling the area, looking around worriedly.

Ling Chuxi channeled energy into her feet and jumped, leaping across the city like a feather, her speed so fast that she was practically a blur. A wall, to Ling Chuxi, was nothing to be concerned about.

After entering the city, Ling Chuxi immediately rushed towards the imperial palace. As she passed by Mo Kongyuan's residence, she used the Mind Training Chant to scan the area, and found that the yard was completely empty. Even the butler and servants were gone, and were presumably by Mister Mo's side, serving him. 

But where would Mo Kongyuan himself be? Ling Chuxi decided to try the imperial palace.
