Chapter 57: Is this the end??

Yang Feng was almost on the verge of breaking through to 1st stage Mortal. Suddenly a roar came which surprised Yang Feng. The roar was of Flaming tiger. As the name suggests it was covered in flame but it didn't harm the beast but created a natural barrier which harmed its enemy. Yang Feng had killed many beasts and his battle had started to attract more powerful beasts. Flaming Tigers were known for their terrifying strength and their sharp fangs which could easily cut through bones like butter. It was a terrifying beast which could even spitfire and Yang Feng had finally met his opponent. The Flaming tiger glared at Yang Feng's eyes with hostility and roared. The Flaming tiger's roar could easily scare normal people and make them run for their life but it had no effect on Yang Feng. Fighting head to head would be suicide so Yang Feng had to rely on his speed if he wanted to win. The Flaming tiger slowly approached Yang Feng and pounced towards Yang Feng. Yang Feng quickly dogged his attack and barely injured his leg with his sword. The tiger roared with fury and charged towards Yang Feng. The Flaming tiger attacked with its sharp claws and Yang Feng blocked his attack. The Flaming Tiger roared and tried to bite Yang Feng but Yang Feng quickly retreated and created a distance. Yang Feng had to conclude the battle as fast as he can. So he shouted "[Eye of the Supreme Emperor: Emperor's aura]". Suddenly an unknown yet terrifying aura started to cover Yang Feng's body and the Flaming Tiger started to feel immense pressure barely able to stand. This was the ability of [Eye of the Supreme Emperor: Emperor's aura]. Whenever it was used beings including the gods would have to kneel unless they were too powerful. Yang Feng slowly walked toward the Flaming tiger who was kneeling and with no power to defend itself, it was killed by the Yang Feng. After killing the Flaming tiger he was covered in sweat and started to heavily breathe. The energy consumption of the first ability was terrifying and if he won't be careful with the ability he may perish.

Yang Feng devoured the body of the Flaming Tiger. Yang Feng started to feel pain whole devouring the body of Flaming Tiger but Yang Feng was able to endure it.

After the devouring was complete, black clouds started to form which surprised Yang Feng. "How is this possible??. Why is a heavenly tribulation appearing aren't they supposed to appear while advancing to Worldly Being??"

A mortal crossing its limit was unacceptable to heaven and so the heaven tired to eliminate them with Heavenly Tribulation. If he or she wasn't strong enough he would perish without a doubt but Yang Feng had never heard of a tribulation appearing while crossing advancing to mere 1st stage Mortal.

Yang Feng coldly looked towards the clouds, "Does it have it do something with my art and weapon??".

The system had said choosing those two treasure would make him the enemy of the entire beings but they never told him about being enemy with heaven itself.

The clouds formed and the challenge had begun.

Yang Feng knew he couldn't dodge the lightening so he prepared his body to endure the lightning.

The lightening came one after the another injuring Yang Feng but the lightning wasn't too powerful to seriously injure him.

After Yang Feng endured the eight lightenings he became severely injured but not life-threatening. If it weren't for the fact his body was strong due to training and the battle he couldn't have endured up until now. Yang Feng cleaned the blood of his mouth and watched the cloud.

The ninth lightning had struck and it was far more powerful than previous lightenings. This time Yang Feng couldn't hold on and crashed on the stone. His body had been seriously injured and some of his bone had shattered. Yang Feng was barely able to open his eyes before he closed his eyes he saw beasts approaching towards him. Yang Feng coughed up blood and thought 'Is this my end??'
