264. D Family

"Yayyyyyyy... So pretty." Lami excitedly looked at the night sky from Alexander's shoulder. Beside them, Law was standing and admiring the scene.

"How did you do that?" He asked amusingly.

"Haha, it's magic..."

In the sky were thousands of firecrackers. The medicine had already started to get distributed. The people were recovering and coming out to see the beautiful sky. Some even cried, feeling the newfound hope of living.

Soon they heard loud booing sound coming from the right like a wave. After a while the reason also became clear.

Dobby was dragging the two culprits towards him. "Boss, I caught them fleeing on a Marine ship. What do we do?"

"Well, we are the controlling government now so they should be given a trial. Right here and now. You two got anything to say?" He asked.

The two looked at him with disdain, "Who do you think you are? We are the royal family of this kingdom, you have no right to judge us. Let us go, you still have time or else the wrath of the World Government will fall upon you."

Then they noticed that Alexander wasn't even looking at them. He was busy distributing candies to kids.

Alexander looked back, "Ah, yes. You said you are deserters who poisoned their homeland and then tried to flee. I already know all that, tell me something new."

"WHAT?! WE DIDN'T SAY THAT."

*Sigh*

"You give yourself too much importance. Do you really think the world government would care about two people who have lost their kingdom and the means to make money? Huh, they are just like you. Greedy and opportunistic. You have no worth anymore." Alexander lectured.

He then looked towards the people after seeing their sins, "For your crimes. You will get death. But not here. Not in front of little children. Dobby, take them to the City Hall and hang them there. Take some witnesses with you."

Once they were taken to their execution, Law came to Alexander, "Mister, my mama, and papa want to talk to you in private."

Alexander lightly knocked on his head, "Grandpa, that's the right word. Now let's go."

Once in a private room, he sat on one side and the family of four on the other.

Milan clenched his fist but his wife calmed him down and gave an encouraging nod. Alexander was now interested in knowing what they were getting so worked up on.

Milan started to speak, "Sir, we lied to you when we told you our name. My real name is Trafalgar D. Water Milan. My wife and children also have it in our names."

"Oh, interesting. Why were you hiding it?" Alexander interestingly asked.

"Because that is what we've been taught since our childhood. That we should keep D in our names a secret. They said that this name has many enemies. Even my grandfather was killed because of revealing this name, that is what my father told me" Milan explained.

"Hmm, you are right. I don't know much about why people have this in their name. But I do know that it has something to do with the void century, which makes everyone with D in their names an enemy of the world government." Alexander explained.

Both adults got worried about their kids.

"Ah, you four can come and live on my island. It's in the East Blue. It is probably the safest place in the world. Many other people with D in their names live there. It is the Marine hero, Vice Admiral, Monkey D Garp, and my birthplace." He offered.

"What about this place? We are the most knowledgeable doctors here." Silvy asked.

"Don't worry about this place. It will now be my territory so there will be lots of new people coming. Including all kinds of professionals. You should just worry about your own safety."

"Mama, let's go with Grandpa. He said he will let me play with his granddaughters, his cat, and his bird. I want to play with them." Lami spoke.

Looking at her wide radiation smile, their hearts quickly made a decision. "Okay, we will go with Mister Universe. We will go and pack our bags."

"Haha, good choice. I will be leaving this island in 2 days. Get ready by then." He informed and left to solve the mess of a kingdom. The family happily looked at his back with gratitude in their eyes.

For now, Alexander had Wano, Flevance, Ohara, and partially Dawn Island (Goa Kingdom) under him. He was slowly moving forward on talking over the world.

2 days later, Alexander left one of Connor's clones on the island to set up everything. 10 warships were also left behind. These new metal warships had become a topic of gossip in the seas. Most Pirates would simply steer away if they saw one of them.

For the past few days, Alexander spent most of his time removing all of Amber Lead ore and dumping them into the sea, it wasn't harmful to any animal, he had done the tests. Reason for throwing it was because as long as it was there, the people would be in danger.

For now, Connor's clone will work at the top while at the grassroots level, the local leaders will. Alexander also left a lot of food rations to ease the load on the people for now.

After that, he just boarded the ship and got ready to return to the Goa Kingdom.

"Grandpa, can we see the red line? I read in the school book that it is very tall." Lami cutely asked while jumping on the ship's deck. It seems her disease had held her cheerful nature back.

Alexander could have gone through the Anywhere door but that wouldn't be helpful in the current position he was in. He wanted to go through any island in trouble which he could take over.

"Yes, Lami-chan. We will see the Red Line soon. Do you know what's above the red line?" He asked.

She shook her head.

"The world's worst criminals live there. But no one can catch them because they run the world." He revealed.

"Oh, not even you can beat them?" She asked.

"Haha... Of course, I can. It's just that I don't. Because then the whole world would fall into a disorderly mess... Oh, look we're there." He pointed at the horizon.

She excitedly looked back at the sea. "Woaaaah... How will we climb it, Grandpa? I'm just a small little girl."

Her face showed genuine worry. It made Alexander laugh.

"Hahaha... No, we won't be climbing it, sweety. We will be flying over it." He answered.

"But won't the bad guys catch us then?" She inquired.

"Bad guys live in the area of the red line that lies in the grand line. While we are in the North Blue." He explained.

Besides them, Law was listening to everything and learning new knowledge.

"Grandpa, I also read that there is Fish island in the sea and sky islands up there. Is that true?"

From there Alexander's time went by answering Lami's various questions. Her mind may be small but it was full of curiosity. It was the first time she or any of her family came out of their home kingdom after all.

Everything went normal until they came near Paradise. A few thousand kilometers away from the red line, he saw a ship with Amazon Lily's flag. It was being attacked by 3 Pirate ships.

Alexander flew to the ship and saw the empress Gloriosa on the ship. Though she had grown old now.

"Oh, what a surprise seeing you here, Gloriosa. I thought the empress didn't come out of the safe waters." He voiced.

Gloriosa looked at him in shock and relief. "I wanted some adventures of my own. We all need some stories to tell to the later generation."

"Haha... That is true. Wait, I'll deal with these." He turned back and punched towards the 3 Ships with so much force that the airwaves left many holes in them. So now the pirates were more focused on saving their sinking ship. Alexander left them as they were, deciding to deal with them later.

"So, care to explain why they were attacking?" He asked.

"Ah, there's no point in hiding now. 3 girls from Amazon Lily went missing a few years back. In the recent fire of Mary Geoise, they were successful in running away. The pirates thought they could sell them back for money." she answered.

"Why didn't you tell me when they went missing? Where are they? Take me to them. I will ban slavery today." He announced.

Gloriosa thought it was an arrogant thought but again, when she thought who said it, it didn't seem impossible.
