Since it is a dungeon and a maze, it naturally feels complicated, and dim.
In fact, the complexity and change depend on the situation, and not at all when it is dim.
The dungeon is divided into layers.
The higher the number of floors, that is, the farther away from the ground, the stronger the monsters born from that floor.
With fixed floors as the boundary, the topography and nature of the underground city will be different.
The upper floors consist of the 1st-12th Floors. These floors are perfectly suitable for adventurers who have just started their exploration. Level 1 adventurers are recommended to explore here.
The 1st-4th Floor walls are light blue colored, and the monsters that appear are Goblins or Kobolds. There is also a wide hallway on the 1st Floor known as the Beginning Road. Newbie Level 1 adventurers with status of I to H in their basic abilities normally spend time on these floors.
The 5th-7th Floor walls change to a light green color and the structure of the dungeon begins to change. Stronger monsters such as War Shadows and Killer Ants appear and the monster birth time is faster, which is why these floors are where a lot of newbie adventurers start to die. It's recommended for Level 1 adventurers to have status of at least G in their basic abilities to explore these floors.
The 8th-9th Floor amount and size of rooms increase and the length of the hallways between them become shorter. Also, the ceiling changes height from three to four meters from the floors above to nearly ten meters above. Moss covers the brown colored walls and the ground below becomes a short grass plain. The strong light from the phosphorescence above is similar to light from the sun. No new monsters appear, however monsters from 1st-7th Floors appear again but stronger. It's recommended for Level 1 adventurers to have status of at least E in their basic abilities to explore these floors.
The 10th-12th Floors keep the same structure as the 8th-9th Floors, however the light from above becomes reminiscent of morning mist. The mist on the 12th Floor becomes much thicker than on the 10th and 11th Floors. Large category monsters such as Orcs and Infant Dragons begin to appear on these floors. These floors are also where monsters use landforms such as trees as weapons for the first time.
The 11th and 12th Floors are extremely dangerous for Level 1 adventurers because stronger monsters like Silverbacks and Hard Armoreds appear here. Infant Dragons that are categorized as Level 2 and considered as floor boss of the area also appear though rarely. It's recommended for Level 1 adventurers to have status of at least B in their basic abilities to explore these floors. Parties that explore these floors are normally the ones preparing to venture into the middle floors for the first time.
"By the way, I will prepare your weapons here." Xin takes three weapons for them for their temporary use until Xin makes them a powerful one.
For Mira, it's a giant knuckle
....
Heavy iron Knuckles ( Rank D Weapon )
Made from 99% metal, super heavy, and destructible.
.....
Erza is a simple one-handed sword.
.....
Unpolish Sword ( Rank E Weapon )
Made from a mixture of different kinds of metal
....
And lastly is Knight Walker's weapon, a spear.
...
LightWeight Spear ( Rank 3 Weapon )
Made from silver and pure iron, an ultra-light spear for speed purposes.
.....
And lastly, Xin's weapon is a simple 6 feet rusty iron rod that he just picked from scrap metal.
"Why not get a better one, Xin?" Mira asked.
"Actually, we don't really need a better weapon in this level, what we just need is something we can hit the monster until we level up."
"We will only change our weapon after the weapon that we use is useless to the monster we are fighting, but right now our enemy is just cobalt and goblin."
From the dim part of the wall, a Goblin suddenly jumps towards them, Xin casually waves his iron rod smashing the Goblin into pulp.
After that, the Goblin turns into light leaving a monster core and broken teeth.
"See?"
"So weak!" Knightwalker said.
"Just like what you see, the monster on the upper floor is too weak so it's useless to get a better weapon if we can kill them with a simple weapon like my rod."
"Let's start clearing the floor and rush below." Erza said.
"Let's do that"
Clang!
Clang!
Mira smashed her fist and excitedly nodded.
The three of them then start to mow down the enemy, every monster they find is killed instantly leaving countless drops around.
While Xin on the other hand is running while picking up all the loot that they left, these girls don't know that the guild here is not like the guild on the other side.
If they want to earn, they need to pick the drop from the monster.
"Well, I will just remind them later."
....
The 10th floor.
One is no longer a blindly boring passage, but is covered with moss on the walls, and short grasses on the ground, similar to grasslands, and phosphorescent like the rays of the sun, but filled with thick white color mist Floor.
Xin is looking at the three girls wreaking havoc in the middle of the Orc army, he did not expect that they stump on a monster house that summons countless monsters.
With one wave of his hand, he smashes the Orc that is charging toward him, he then picks the loot while watching them.
Looking at their excited face full of blood and bits of meat from their own enemy, Xin seems to notice a strange light glowing at them.
He already notices it on the 3rd floor but as they go deeper and deeper, the strange glow starts to shine brighter and brighter..
"Maybe I should ask Hestia later."
