Levy's Partner

Tenrou Island is the holy ground of the Fairy Tail guild. X784's S-Class Mage Promotion Trial was held on this island. It is also the resting place of Fairy Tail's first Guild Master.

Tenrou Island stands alone in the middle of the sea, with no other isles visible in the surrounding area. It is a mildly small, rocky and steep island covered by lush vegetation, both bright yellow and green in color.

One side of the island is shown to be particular rocky, possessing large formations jutting outwards from the ground, one near the shore, protruding above the sea, and the other near the center of the island, overlooking it, the latter has a pair of waterfalls falling down from it in a small lake below.

Topping such second rocky formation stands the most distinctive element of the island: the Great Tenrou Tree, a gigantic tree with a gnarled, mildly curved trunk, ending in a number of large branches which sustain something that has been described as being similar to "an island on top of an island", being a large, flat section composed of earth and crowded by a multitude of normal-sized trees.

Such a gargantuan plant possesses a multitude of similarly large, curved and twisted roots, which right below the trunk sustain massive lumps of earth, something which creates some sort of covered area right below the tree itself.

Xin first time to come to Tenrou Island but he already felt some familiar aura coming from it, more important is the Giang tree standing in the middle of the island.

He felt that this Great Tenrou Tree is the same aura given by the Tree of Knowledge, Tree of Life, and the Tee in the middle of Sorami Island.

And last is the Mysterious Tree in the middle of the Sorami Island

Maybe only Mavis can answer hsi question about this tree but he doesn't know when and where Mavis is right now, of course, he is sure that she is not dead because he can feel a presence inside of him on the island before they even embark.

While I deep thought, Xin suddenly felt someone tugging at his cloth so he looked and looked at him.

"What's the matter Carla?"

"Are you really strong?"

"I don't know, but i'm pretty strong,"

Carla looked at him with a dumped expression, she did not expect to get an answer that is not even considered an answer at all.

She seemed to notice her change so Xin petted her head gently and said," What you see is not everything, that's only a small part of the truth, don't worry, everything is going to be fine."

"R-Really?" Carla nervously asks.

"Of course."

Xin nodded while trying to scratch her chin, then her cheeks making Carla purr like a normal cat making everyone petrified in place.

Maybe she noticed it now so she hurried to avoid the demonic hand of Xin and ran towards Wendi making everyone laugh at her.

"What's the matter Carla?" Wendy asks her partner after seeing her flustered appearance.

"I-Its nothing!"

"Is it good?" Happy who walked beside her suddenly whispered.

"Yeah- wait what are you talking about!" Carla kicks Happy trying to hide her embarrassment, adding to the fun on their journey.

"Hey Lecy, are you still can't decide who you are going to partner with?" Lucy asks Levi who is still not choosing her own partner.

Well, in the original plot, Gajeel chooses to help her to be promoted but this time, a butterfly effect happens, Gajeel chooses to help Gray while his original partner Loki did not come at all.

So right now, she still doesn't have a partner. There are two people who want to help her but she knows they will not be strong enough to help her for promotion.

There's only one open person left and that is Natsu who chooses to partner Happy who doesn't have any combat ability at all.

"Want me to help you?" Xin suddenly asked.

"Really?"

"No!"

Except for one positive answer and that is Levy, everyone hurriedly denied Xin, they know he is so strong that even Makarov and Gildart can measure his strength.

And now he wants to join the fun. This is going to become a huge problem if ever he tries to join, no one can fight him at all.

"Of course, I will help you to find a good partner."

"Really?"

They felt relief hearing Xin did not join personally, but still, they are curious who he is talking about that he wants to partner with Levy.

Xin then took three of the keys and showed them to her.

"You can choose one of these keys as your partner. I already asked Guild Master Makarov if you guys can ask for help from outside and he will accept it."

"Really?"

"Of course,"

"And beside, you can get a contract first from one of this if need,"

"Okay," Levy excitedly said and started looking at the keys in front of her. She knows that all of the keys are strong and they can be a great help for her for this promotion.

"Are you sure you are going to choose this one?"

"That's right."

"Hmmm…. Virgo Crystal Key… I think Asia will become a good partner for you."

"Asia?" Levy asked.

"Asia is the name of the Virgo Crystal Key, she is also a healer and a Nun."

"A healer? Ha~ i think i still going to fail my promotion test." Levy sadly said.

"Don't worry, Asia is a healer but a combat healer, she can help you easily, you will know it later."

Xin then takes the Virgo Crystal Key and opens the door for Asia to come.

The door opens, a symbol of Virgo appears at the door and a young girl comes out from it, she curiously looks around as if she is still thinking why she is here.
