Those who were still bidding for the void ring went silent immediately the moment they heard this price, even though a void ring was rare and useful in many other ways besides beast taming, it was still worth at most eight hundred thousand high grade spirit stones in value.

The price which Ace had called out already exceeded the value of a void ring by a large margin, which was why no one present decided to bid any further since they had no specific purpose or usage for it.

Just like this, the void ring went to Ace smoothly without any hiccups as the auction continued on, each item catered towards people of different identities as the auction soon reached the final auction item before the half-time break session.

Even though there were a few items along the way, none of them were able to catch Ace's attention except for the void ring who had unexpectedly been auctioned as the second item in the queue to everyone's surprise.

The break session was pointless to most cultivators on the ground floor, it was of paramount importance to those on the second floor or even the third floor like Ace. But of course, Ace was the only one who qualified to be on the third floor for this auction.

Using this time, the cultivators on the upper floors could collect more spirit stones from their respective backgrounds in order to better prepare themselves for the upcoming auction session, the second half where the auction truly begins for the affluent and strong.

It benefitted the cultivators and the auction hall at the same time since the auction hall would be able to auction their items at a higher price, thus profiting more from the tax rate which was already fixed under usual circumstances.

Especially when she can earn more commission through the sales of the items she auctioned and use them to purchase more cultivation resources.

After a few minutes of silence, someone from the second floor finally made the first bid.

The family head of the Wind family, one of the four legacy families of the Nebula Kingdom led by their family head, Gale.

The family head of the four elemental families had one thing in common, all of them were Martial Kings.

"Everyone, feel free to continue raising the price, out of all of us, only one person will walk away with the Nascent Orb regardless of how much we hesitate."

Just like this, Gale managed to get everyone to start bidding as the auction only starts from now.

"Three million high grade spirit stones!" The family head of the Ocean family, Wave, called out right after Gale brought the auction's atmosphere to its peak.

"Wave, is that all you're capable of calling despite being one of the four elemental families?" The family head of the Earth family, Rock, sneered as he doubled the price immediately.

"Six million high grade spirit stones!"

"This is why you guys are a disgrace to the four elemental families even up till now, Chris, the family head of the Crimson family sighed as he ended the bidding between the four elemental families immediately.

"Ten million spirit stones."

Even though they were known as the four elemental families, those who have access to classified information would understand that the Crimson family was a tier above the rest.

The reason was simple, Chris was the only Martial Emperor ever since forty years ago and now, no one knows his true strength, but rumor holds that his strength is not one that others can comprehend besides for the powerhouses outside the Nebula Kingdom.

As for wealth, the Crimson family also possessed the highest number of ruins and mines occupied to gather spirit stones, their younger generation had talent which put them apart from the rest while their guards were also stronger with better cultivation grounds Chris had provided for them.

Caitlyn, who was still standing on the stage, pouted her cheeks when she heard this price, as she tried to raise the price by calling out.

"First call for ten million high grade spirit stones!"

Before Caitlyn could end the bidding session for the Nascent Orb, Ace finally called out his own price.

"Fifteen million high grade spirit stones!"

Those on the ground floor just here to watch the items being auctioned, were shocked when they heard a voice contesting against the four elemental families, but when they realised that the voice was from the third floor, all of them looked towards the private chamber in surprise despite being unable to see through the arrays casted.

��Sir on the third floor, do you really need this item?" Chris ignored the others and asked, as though only him and Ace had the qualifications to even think about obtaining the Nascent Orb for their own usage.

"Yes." Ace replied after pondering for a few seconds.

In his own private chambers, Chris remained seated on his own chair smiling as he asked Ace, "Sir, if there's an item I would like to bid for later on, I hope that you won't contest against me for it."

"I can agree to that for all items except for the roulette item of the auction."

"Hahahaha! I'll thank you in advance then, the Nascent Orb shall go to you."

Just like this, Caitlyn sealed an unexpected item which was auctioned at a price exceeding her expectations by a large margin.

The auction continued as per usual, with Ace intervening once in every place to secure a few items for himself, but at the fourth last item of the auction, Chris finally requested to auction the item for himself which Ace gave up on immediately.

Since he needed ties and relationships with other cultivation forces and families, this loss wasn't much and in fact, he would only stand to benefit from having an alliance partner."
